@Beautyinthestruggle71 - If your question was directed towards me, yes, I still eat some fruit, but focus primarily on darker fruit, & primarily organic berries. They are very high in antioxidants, and carry a lighter glycemic load. As much as I love some of the sweeter fruits, like melons, pineapples and other tropical fruit, they are higher in fructose, & glycemic index.

    • @theclosetedpsychic
      @theclosetedpsychic Месяц назад

@@thetradingtips76 hi! So, your body will actually make Metabolic Water(water in the purest form) when you deprive it of an external water source…AKA “hard dry fasting”. I have done many hard dry fasts in the past (my longest personal being 96 hrs) However, THIS 5 day fast I have just completed, I drank water with lemon and Celtic Sea Salt. The first 30 hours were difficult for me, but what gets me through is consuming knowledge on the benefits/my “why”. I also time my 24-30 hr hump to take place while I sleep. And sure enough, I wake up fully energized and ready to tackle the remaining of my fast easily. In fact, from 30hrs on is a breeze! I was so full of energy!!! I am a bartender in a popular restaurant-it was empowering to see, smell and serve a variety of delicious entrees without the desire to consume it out of mindless addiction. 🙌✨

I’ve followed this regime since 2016, twice each year I’ve gone for a 7 day water only fast, thing is that the more you do, the more you understand the benefits, the surge of energy and clear thinking by day 4 is insane! The happy by product is the realisation you’re suddenly able to fit into the skinny tailor made suit you had made back then.. even just 2 x 7 day water only fasts each year and you feel 10 years younger. The benefits are mind blowing ! Sharper mind, energy levels are off the scale, and your grocery bills are nothing ! Insane benefits… problem is while everyone says how amazing you look, almost none of your friends feel they can go a single day without their 3-4 meals each day.. brainwashed.. and asides from the happy side affect of feeling younger, and weight loss, it’s cool to feel like James Bond in the bedroom ! Everyone’s a winner 🤣

I’m from Puerto Rico, 36 years old, and not diabetic (according to my Doc). I woke up one Monday and checked my glucose after a horrible weekend full of drinking and eating with family and friends and I was horrified by the mg/dL reading. I went straight to a 3 day water fast that very day. By the 4th day I was feeling so weird (in a good way). I was feeling less irritated and anxious. I kept my normal pace at work and went for a walk during my lunch hour. On the fifth day my glucose was at 79mg/dL. This has NEVER happened to me in a morning reading of my glucose. My glucose had never been below 96mg/dL after waking up in the morning. Till this day, my some friends, my boss, and coworkers can’t believe that I went on a 5 day water fast while I kept working and performing the same and sometimes better. I felt a slight headache in the afternoon of the second day, but it didn’t last long. I put Dr. Jamnadas’ advice to the test. I found out that I won’t die if I give my body a break from food and just hydrate properly. I’m getting ready to do it again soon. This time I’ll incorporate going to the gym.

It seems the system provides ultra-processed food, people grow addicted to it not due to lacking of will power but the undefeatable "value/WAISTLINE ENHANCER' motivation of food industry. We need to start with "why". Dr. Jamnadas diligently tells us the why in his lecture. The rest of us should start now by sharing his passionate advice. Practice ourselves to demonstrate to our family, friends and the community. Cheers to Dr. Pardip Jamnadas and all the fans. Stay now, one water fasting a time.

The last 10min is very critical if you have children or working with children. The fatty liver at early age is detrimental esp. when it is under diagnosed.

Amazing. I went on keto, a few days later, (last week) my resting pulse was in the low 90’s for a day. Freaked me out. Now I understand it was a withdrawal symptom. I just ran my BP/pulse 125/68, pulse 70. This guy is the real deal. I’m a believer.

Lower carb and then fasting drops my BP quite a bit. from 60-70bpm, one day of fasting it drops to 50-55bpm.
      Very interesting

You want freaked - I started keto, with 1 meal/day and for the next 2 1/2 weeks, didn’t have a BM. Wasn’t uncomfortable, just didn’t need to go. I took stool softeners and laxatives every couple of days, but to no avail. Then, finally, normal operations resumed. Very strange sequence though. Unnerving.

Leucine can help tamp down hunger for OMAD. Eating low carb is very helpful for fasting easily and it's vital for refeeding otherwise your can can race when your insulin response to the food occurs. The many benefits of occasional extended fasting and lowering dietary carbs:
Your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune cells in a 72h fast, rejuvenating your immune system. This helps with autoimmune disease, cancers and cytokine storm.
Reduces B cells by over half in a single fast, greatly reducing allergic and other autoimmune responses.
Fasting and low carb help with POTS, which is driven by high insulin and blood sugar.
Clots and plaques are removed over time due to accelerated phagocytosis.
Fibrosis aka scarring is reversed over time, including in the heart, lungs and clots.
Clotting and fibrin are inhibited, stopping any 'unusual' clots.
Fasting quickly lowers blood pressure levels.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of proteins, pathogens and plaques by macrophages and other immune bodies. This will remove spikes quicker, whether natural or unnatural in origin!
Fasting restores NAD+, reduces NADH and increases nitric oxide release to open blood vessels.
Reflexes and short term memory are increased.
Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release!.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered when fasting, reducing inflammation and allowing the immune bodies to move freely through the body.
T cells are cruciall in fighting cancer, autoimmune disease and infection. With age, the thymus generally stops making them but fasting releases stem cells, which then can become new T cells. It also releases growth hormone, which regenerates the thymus!
When insulin is high, vit D stays locked in the blood cells but fasting quickly lowers it. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and D in turn increases autophagy.
Fasting increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors and increases average telomere length in stem cell pools.
Fasting does not reduce testosterone over time. Iraises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building. And removes fat, which also increases estrogen in men.
Fasting activates autophagy (literally self eating). This recycles damaged proteins and foreign matter such as viruses.
Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body.
Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures.
Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue!
The obese will lose loose skin while fasting, but the frail will have increased growth hormone release, which helps to make more lean tissue and reduce frailness.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mtDNA. Mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism, fighting infection and cancer prevention!
24h of fasting reduces leptin levels by half! This reduces leptin resistance, which impairs immune function.
Over time fasting normalizes stomach acid levels and during the fast acid levels go down to allow for the healing of ulcers.
The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting.
Fasting reduces pain and anxiety by stimulating the endocannabinoid system, just like the effect of CBD oil
Your brain prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when equally available to glucose. Except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns free fatty acids.
When not in ketosis, the brain can only burn glucose, which produces a great deal of damaging ROS the brain has to deal with.
Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility for some women.
Fasting increases telomere length, negating some effects of aging at a cellular level.
Fasting releases BDNF and NGF in the blood, creating new nerve and brain cell growth. This helps a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
Fasting stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer.
Glycine and trimethylglycine (TMG) can also be useful supplements while fasting that won't break ketosis and have many benefits.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD has about 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and zero net carbs.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast but most teas and herbs are OK. Supplements and meds usually break ketosis due to fillers or directly. Some of them also irritate the stomach. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting.
Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. They also help with dementia and many other issues even if you take them while not fasting!
Children, expecting or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors that excrete insulin or certain rare forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all or only with doctor supervision. T1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis and done under doctor supervision. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast with a low carb meal.

    Most valuable take aways:
    1. Calories in and calories out is not the best way to loose weight
    2. Insulin is everything.
    3. Your sugar levels can be ok but you can still have hyperinsulinemea. Where you have a condition to use more insulin to control the sugar levels in your blood and your pancreas is overworking.
    4. Sugar, refined flour and refined seed oils are the culprit.
    5. Diabetes can be reversed.
    6. Diabetes is a vascular disease.
    7. Fructose is not digested by humans and converted to fat by Liver and it’s the main cause of fatty liver.
    8. Fasting and feasting- eat less often, skip meals, intermittent fasting and long fasting.
    God bless this man 🙏
finally someone decided to be honest and decided to share what’s truthful and not driven by financial interest from disease 🦠

Protein fills you up quickly and fats keep you full for longer, that's why people on the animal-based side of the ketogenic lifestyle find it easier to eat once or twice per day

First of all I thank you so much for sharing these lectures. I really appreciate them and find them enlightening.
I wish I could fast but all I can stand is a 8/16 or sometimes 6/18.
If at night I'm hungry I definitely can't sleep. I tried to stand It but I couldn't help being awake and the following day at work I was nervous and down.....
So now I'm scared of having a sleepless night and when I'm back home from work I have at least a huge tossed salad with apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil...

I have practiced one meal a day x 4 times a week for 6 to 9 months. But never challanged myself beyond 24 hrs.
Today its my first 34 hrs of water fasting. I am feeling most of the benefits such as energetics, fresh, light weight etc. i am not feeling hungry but in between gets cravings for snacking or eating food. I am just trying to become more aware and conscious about own mindsets/stress/emotional cravings/hunger etc. its feeling better but still not motivated to continue it. I do want continue but unknown strage feeling inside mind telling me its ok, Another time continue. For now its ok. But i am glad i saw i am capable to extending it to 36 hrs water fasting without any problems.

Hello Dr. Pradip Jamnadas! My name is Pamela. I appreciate and respect your complete knowledge and understanding of the significance of IF, insulin sensitivity/resistance, and the dangers of UPF (ultra processed food) sugar!
I weighed 275 lbs in 2019. I lost 140 lbs NATURALLY in less than 2 years by releasing the sugar and grains (bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, ultra processed food. I intermittent fasted, drank a gallon of water, and got 7-9 hours of sleep❤! I am a health coach, and my soul's purpose is to help others who struggle with obesity!
I will be in Orlando from July 28 to August 11:15 ! I would love to partner with you in any way that will spread this message! You are brilliant, and I respect you and your work! Thank you so much for your time!
    Appreciatively,
    Pamela🦋!
