With your cube and you beveled the edges of the hole, a tutor I once had showed turning off chamfer gives the supporting edges it's a handy little trick that makes applying holding edges so much quicker in many scenarios. Anyway hope you are keeping well and loving the content
Hello Mike, awesome stuff as always. It would be superb make video about layout UVs and how to use maximum pixel density or how UVss affecting quality of materials or textures on models. Stay great Mike!
Hello Mike. If you have time can you make short video how to make bandage 3d model that can wrap into character hands? (I be struggle doing that I still new in 3d model) I try to find tutorial but I can't find the good one yet. 😥😥😥😥
Hello Mike, Thanks a lot. Can you make e video how can we make a hole on the side of cylinder? I'm facing problem while trying to make 'C type charging port' in a rounded device
Sort of unrelated, but what's the difference between using insert edge loop and multi-cutting other than convenience of time spent? Thanks for the vids Mike, I'll remember who helped me get better when I have my dream career :)
Hey Mike , why sometime shift double clicking not select total edges...it happens many time with me...but don't understand the reason....in this your trying to select circles edges for bevel.....
Sometimes there is no edge flow to what you are selecting. In Mike's circle at the end there were several edge flows that finished at the circles edge therefore the edge he was selecting only went maybe four lines across because that edge flow ended wiith the other edge coming into the circle.
I understand why you put bevels on the supporting edges, to keep the shape. What is the point of adding the edge loops in the middle of faces, isn't that extra topology that isn't used?
I was learning 3ds max for last one year , and I became good at it , now for my college study , I have to learn Maya , it's looking horrible to me do you have any tips for that 😅 ...
The reason you had trouble at the end was because you needed more segments. Also, I am surprised you make a video about clean topology, yet don't mention non-manifold geometry. This is super low level stuff, you don't have to make a 20 minute video for it. Keep it short and good luck!
Turning a cube into a sphere is the ultimate secret foundation shape that I use in my tool kit for about 10 years now.
I bet :-)
Hi Mike, i heard you're sick i hope you'll be good and recover quickly, take care of your health
Starting to improve, thanks for asking :-)

Thanks Mark
Another great video and kind regards wishing you the best of health Mike!
i am currently having a topology / optimization crisis
Thanks mike lol, perfect timing
Very welcome
literally same here
good technique to model the lights of the cars thanks mike
Very welcome Nestor

With multicut you can add free form, so diagonally
@@MHTutorials3D Thanks bud! I figured it was a simple difference
Sir please make video on charactor controll rig
Can you pls make a basic tutorial on camera's and texturing in Maya?? Huge fan of yours from last 3 months. Learned a lot from your tutorials!! 😊
I did many videos both on cameras and texturing. Glad you like the videos
@@MHTutorials3D oh, i didn't see them i guess. Will check it out. thanks

I agree that Maya is the best software in the market for modeling 👍🏻 thanks mike 😎
thanks a lot

It is to achieve even tesselation for texturing and deformation purposes

Thanks a lot Mike. ❤ What about your health?
