Hey son of a tech, remember the time oprah gave away those cars.... Hint hint lol
yeah u sorta leave out they dont work without buying the container thats 1/4 mill. it plugs in to provide the power and the cooling. only useful if you own a nuke power plant.
That case is for running an insanely hardcore mining farm full of these units (capacity says 210, HOLY SCHNIKES). Luckily not needed if you're only buying one (or two) of these. But damn, imagine running 210 of these bad boys.....
Ah yea just let me unplug my TV from my 5k watt plug :)
Even at 10c/kW this is a waste of money. The large mining farms must be getting them at 1/2 to 1/3 of the price we pay.
Yes and are paying much lower power rates too
Have fun finding 380v 3phase power for the hydro in North America.
what do you mean?
Hyd. requires 342 to 418 V three phase power at 30 amps. Common three phase power in North America is 480V. A custom transformer will be needed to run the Hyd. in North America.
With my power rates ROI for btc asic's = 4-5 years so... basically useless if you add difficulty increase.
great job
@son of a tech
If they ever made a move bout lane Stanley you would get the roll all jokes aside alice in chains one of my favorite bands u kinda look like lane.
here in england that would never roi as our electric is about to go from 22 pence 1 killowatt hour to 30 then its going to 40 pence 1kwh its a shiiiittttfest.
I think that's why I need to get my hosting set up.
@@SonofaTech I agree. What’s your base electric rate without any other costs affiliated with it yet?
@@SonofaTech yeah doit im going solar and batterys they wont stop me.
I wouldn't even consider having that thing It'll take 2 years to ROI without even taking electric into the costs. I'm out!
Per a profit calculator I looked at, @ 255 th/s utilizing 5304 watts at 0.14 per kwh and a pool fee of 1% this thing will profit $1,104.46 USD a day..... That can't be right. for reference I was using cryptocompare
Cryptocompare is broken, this machine is at $42/day with 0.12 electric costs.
