Can we please see the whole programme - this guest list is GOLD! Two of the most charismatic and lovable stars Britain has ever produced - Diana Dors and Larry Grayson. And fascinating to see Farley Granger as an older man - I remember him best from the chilling Hitchcock movie 'Rope' - he was pure evil! Great actor.

Agree to want to see the whole show. Grayson and Granger are wonderful, but Diana Dors is the standout. What a beautiful, gracious lady.

Wow Diana’s memorable film moment is exactly the same as mine. Thomas More actually complimented Alice, when she visits him in prison for the last time, on how tasty her custard tarts were and she flies into a rage at what she sees as being patronised with banality by the man she adores who is on the verge of execution. Wendy Hiller’s gut wrenching performance in that scene was 5 minutes of pure cinematic gold, possibly the most realistic bit of acting of a woman in extremis that I have ever seen.

Lillian Burns Sidney, MGM DRama Coach, also found Judy Garland top of the mark. Mrs. Sidney, in an interview I did with her, mentions Garland`s reading of a scene from `Morning Glory` starring Kate Hepburn. (paraphrase) `I am Eva Lovelace`. Mrs. Sidney said she gulped it was so affecting. That`s our Judy. I too wept when she comes on stage and says `This is Mrs. Norman Maine`. Hokey but great stuff!

Amen - there should be much more Diana Dors material on RUclips, she was never off the telly in the Seventies and up to her tragic, premature death in 1984. I recall her turning up all the time as a guest on shows like 'Celebrity Squares', such a witty and charismatic woman and a great actress too. But mainly I remember her as a STAR. And real stars like Diana Dors are very rare!
