You are one of the few expert painters on RUclips that has thoroughly explained and recorded the entire process on how to perform an expert concourse paint job with the epoxy, base, 2k Primer, 1st phase clear coat, inter coat / flow coat, and then the final full clearcoat process. Awesome videos!!! Very very good!

I too pretty much quit my channel it just became to costly and not feasible to sustain a painting channel especially posting frequently it just became overwhelming and under appreciated. My views were extremely low and became not worth continuing , I started to do tiktok and found a bit of value from it as it is easier to post short videos that are to the point, perhaps focus on making shorts to boost your views and outreach . Glad to see you still spraying and doing what you love. Take care brother

Another good video with lots of useful info, it's surprising how quickly bare metal will flash rust if it's not treated correctly as even in a hot climate the humidity will make it rust.
It's great to hear you are going to continue on RUclips, I think all your followers really appreciate how much time and effort it takes to make these videos so a big thanks from me Pharraway👏🙏👍John UK

I did some sand blasting in high humidity. A old car body will start to rust b4 I got it all done. My Pap used something on it but I can't recall what it is. I use Eastwoods after blast if that will be an issue, or if urr doing a project and will not have all metal bare at same time. It's a life saver. If u want a easy way just store bought white vinegar will elite any surface rust. Or a phosphoric type light acid. Tannic acid is gr8 and alot safer than others. There are a lot of products now for this. I wish I could recall what my pap used. He applied with a cotton rag and didn't need gloves, ppe etc. I was just a kid in 80s. Have a gr8 day.

Ok cool I live in Australia 🇦🇺 I’m used to using protec 4 to 1 mix epoxy primer and it drys quickly if you bake it at 60 degrees you can then block it sand it use body filler over it protec epoxy is perfect for bare metal it’s a cheaper Ppg paint and use it as a base primer never put body filler on bare metal anymore once repairs are done I either put 2 more coats of epoxy over it again or usually just go a high build primer autothane which is Ppg and then base and clear coat but protect epoxy also can be used wet on wet as well in a commercial side of things like trucks and buses I’m into restoration of muscle cars.

I am building a 65 Nova, do you have any advice on how to get rid of the peeling paint inside the cowl area and how to paint inside that area? The only areas I have found to get into part of the cowl is through the kick panels and through the blower motor intake hole but there is no way to get hands up to the top area of cowl to sand. I do not want to paint over the peeling paint in there and want to make sure no rust starts in there. I am learning a lot from what you show can't thank you enough for all the teaching. I don't know if you done a video on primers, could you do a video explaining the different kinds of primers and what you would use them for. My paint skills for decades come from out of cans, I want to get into the paint gun world lol On my Nova I am going to jump right in and do a Brandywine candy with skull lace running from the hood all they way to trunk. Go big or go home lol. So I been watching your how to candy non stop and will keep learning until Jun this year when weather is good for me to paint then its go time. Thank you again take care...
