Yeah its honestly not that big of an issue as you get used to it pretty quickly, and it does stand out more from other anime shows that use the same design pattern.
I can’t get over how beautiful bleach looks now. it will go down in history as the most detailed and smooth looking anime. The one toned background really makes everything else pop out in the characters.
I honestly kinda love the colors of the aura, just the way it looks appeal to me, the overpowering nature feels right with how strong the characters are now, it's oppressive, and it feels right to me (Also i just really like colors lol, i love how TYBW looks overall with them). But I do get it.
So far to me this pv looked great in comparison to all past trailers and the fact is that we still are 3 months away from release makes it even better cause we can see in the trailer of shunsui standing and the lille baro volstanding or something like that. I am assuming that they had already done everything at this point or have very minimal things to complete now and they might also look into some shots which which can be done better. Hope so they even further improve the quality. I can see the desire to be better here.

I agree about the vfx. It’s just way too much. Something that always comes to mind is Candice using electrocution against ichigo. It’s literally like staring at a lightbulb 2 inches away from your face
Would be nice to have some texture on the sky. The color isn’t an issue even in cour 2. The main problem was the lack of any detail. A solid blue sky would look worse than anything. But honestly who gives that much of a f that’s a minute issue. I’ve had some issues with the colors in tybw (green Lille). Red on blue was not that bad for me. Looked bad because the red was a solid red not any gradient or stuff like clouds to break it up. This could completely change but if we look at the pattern for cour 1 and 2, they show us the best cuts of the sections in the trailer. E.g. they showed the best cut of byakuya vs as nodt in cour 1 trailer and the best cut of toshiro vs bazz b in cour 2. So these might be the best scenes of ichigo vs ishida. However they never show the best cuts of the cour. Obviously. So the big fights should be significantly higher level than what we’ve seen. Hopefully since the trailer is much higher quality the best scenes are also much better quality. The auras aren’t bad for me. I think they can be improved by I can’t decide how they should be improved.

shangri-la was a split cour that they call season 2 some productions called season 2 or part 2 but they already in production for some time. Sakai is pretty much free.
I agree the VFX have been exagerated but I'd say that's been the case in this entire adaptation. That and the lighting , things seem too dark, it's hard to correctly read the scenes at times. Those are some aspects of it that I don't like. But it is also used to mask the lack of animation. I would rather have less effects and more and well lit animation and choreography. Let's go animators, give us that sakuga we all crave, that's what we are looking forward to the most don't lie. xD
I dont think it has ever seemed too dark at times, it have been bright moments and this is most likely something the blu-ray are going to tone down and correct like it did with cour 2. Its good that there are getting more choreography in to the battles, and ofcourse this is just the middle line animation that are shown in the trailer compared to what the best animated scenes are going to be.

It's not like every fight have those super Saiyan like aura's though. They are using it on fights where the "aura" visually tells audience something. They aren't just there just cause. Like it's is only specifically being used in the Ywach vs. Ichigo fight. We don't see it in the other fights since the aura thing will not complement the story telling the other fights are trying to depict. It's a visual way of Ywach flaunting his reiatsu density to Ichigo without having Ywach voice it by dialogue. And Ichigo activating his aura is Ichigo visually accepting the challenge without having Ichigo voice it by dialogue. We could argue "why not just use they ol' reiatsu heaviness/gravity like effect". That won't work that well in a scenario where characters are fighting. Basically let us reference SS arc Kenpachi vs. Ichigo. They use reiatsu heaviness effect when Kenpachi is not in Mid battle with Ichigo. But in the scenario where they are actually duking it out, they switch to the Skull aura to depict the reiatsu flaunting. Since the aura thing work better in combat scenarios. Also if it's just the reiatsu gravity effect, then we can't tell which one is Ichigo producing and which one is Kenpachi producing since the Reiatsu gravity effect has no color and will look all the same Though my criticisms for the effects in TYBW is more it being rough around the edges and those are the ones that are subjected to corrections and adjustments in cour 2. And my issue remains still with the anime not getting Ichigo's shikai getsuga quite not right. Like the getsuga jujisho needs blu-ray tweaking to get to an okay looking state.

I think Yamashita is heavily involved with the Naruto remakes maybe that's why he can't work too much on bleach tybw. Would be nice if he and chengxi Huang directs an episode each. Atsushi wakabayashi is 59 he's gonna be 60 this year but i do share your concern about his age even if he's not as old as you said he is. But if you think about how good renji Vs mask looked with a bad schedule think about how good wakabayashis works will look with cour 3s improved schedule. Shangri-la frontier season 2 is in production so Sakai will most likely going to work on it.
I actually like colour pallet and aura effect. In this trailer. I was some what dispointed in byakuyas shenbonzakura scene in cour 2. Not invalidating your opinions one bit, but I have no complaints on what we’re seeing so far. I don’t know enough about animation to judge the actual quality (I’m ok with that), so I judge off of visual appeal, and everything looks very good to me. Even the vfx, which I can understand why people might think is overwhelming, looks very appealing to me at least MOST of the time.
I don't agree with the amount of VFX use. For me it makes sense, they exert reiatsu, that's just how much they are releasing. But for sure, I am excited about how good it's looking despite it being just a trailer

Keep in mind animation directors are mainly there to direct the key animators, inbetweeners, etc. Wakabayashi was not that much involved in cour 2, the little stuff he did were superb and insane impactful. If he get a bigger role in an episode with several action animators its going to be insane, especially they have had more time cooking cour 3.
The action animator directors gonna screwd up, wakabayashi is too old so its just against the studio goals creating work like new generation work mappa, and ufotable, satoshi sakai is good debatable but im okay with it hasimoto, is okay too but we have 2 guys have same specialty satoshi sakai, and hasimoto both of them great in explosion animation by their works 80 % of what they're animated is fire and explosion i think we can let go one of them and find young blood animation artists who can really animate fight, i mean these 3 is good but i just think bleach deserves more bigger name, we cant compete with other anime who have aame level of bleach anime action director, like jjk and demon slayer, the studio statements they want to compete but there's no real improvement behind the staff, seriously wakabayashi? SK Yhwach never used a real blade , always a reishi blade , two of them sometimes. But they are different from the cross shaped guard one he use to kill Yama and in this trailer. SK Yhwach reishi blade look exactly like OMZ's reishi blade he manisfested during the Blade Is Me,wich was the "true zangetsu".
Yeah, overall i rated it positively, but the aura effects are jarring. Wouldn't it be better if they just give chars a slight outline on characters with the color of their reiatsu instead of plastering this ugly blinding colored mush? Is Pernida really CGI? I actually cannot tell but for me it doesn't look like it's CGI so if, it's blending really well unlike Koma BK.
Well I too think animation actually has much more movement and aura looks so strong(might be that it can still be under work or in changes idk). And I too think pernida as 2d first until ppl pointed out it was actually cgi.

I 100% expect all of the royal guards beside maybe Askin to turn into ugly cgi blobs once their vollstandig kick in ( hell, base pernida was already full cgi in this trailer ). Shit, SK Yhwach's darkness is 100% going to be cgi goop as well given that mimihagi is also cgi. No to mention mayuri, urahara and shunsui's bankai. Basically anything that is remotely hard to animate and stay on screen for more than 20 seconds is gonna be cgi. Ichigo's final fight gonna be against a ps3 cgi characther cutscene. I'm so fucking worried.

They do read feedback, people do find animators and message them about stuff, there was even a small controversy with it during cour 2

I don't agree with the amount of VFX use. For me it makes sense, they exert reiatsu, that's just how much they are releasing.

Keep in mind animation directors are mainly there to direct the key animators, inbetweeners, etc. Wakabayashi was not that much involved in cour 2, the little stuff he did were superb and insane impactful. If he get a bigger role in an episode with several action animators its going to be insane, especially they have had more time cooking cour 3.
The action animator directors gonna screwd up, wakabayashi is too old so its just against the studio goals creating work like new generation work mappa, and ufotable, satoshi sakai is good debatable but im okay with it hasimoto, is okay too but we have 2 guys have same specialty satoshi sakai, and hasimoto both of them great in explosion animation by their works 80 % of what they're animated is fire and explosion i think we can let go one of them and find young blood animation artists who can really animate fight, i mean these 3 is good but i just think bleach deserves more bigger name, we cant compete with other anime who have aame level of bleach anime action director, like jjk and demon slayer, the studio statements they want to compete but there's no real improvement behind the staff, seriously wakabayashi? Yeah the color for the vfx is just way too much tbh wasn't really a fan of it since the beginning, it's like they cranked up the brightness, contrast all the way it's too jarring to see it sometimes especially when it covers the entire screen like in 11:30, 11:54, 18:38, 19:19
I mean looking it on youtube with cropping and lower resolution is not giving it justice, when we get to the release with the full hd quality its going to blend in nicely and even if there is some overexposure it will get corrected in the blu-ray.

Is Pernida really CGI? I actually cannot tell but for me it doesn't look like it's CGI so if, it's blending really well unlike Koma BK.
Well I too think animation actually has much more movement and aura looks so strong(might be that it can still be under work or in changes idk). And I too think pernida as 2d first until ppl pointed out it was actually cgi.

I 100% expect all of the royal guards beside maybe Askin to turn into ugly cgi blobs once their vollstandig kick in ( hell, base pernida was already full cgi in this trailer ). Shit, SK Yhwach's darkness is 100% going to be cgi goop as well given that mimihagi is also cgi. No to mention mayuri, urahara and shunsui's bankai. Basically anything that is remotely hard to animate and stay on screen for more than 20 seconds is gonna be cgi.
Ichigo's final fight gonna be against a ps3 cgi characther cutscene.
