I don’t see Luffy as the typical Chosen One such as say Naruto or Aang (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but that the story makes it clear that Luffy isn’t the chosen one but he is simply the one who will inherit will and dreams of Roger and the original JoyBoy.
In fact when you think about it Oda actually kinda plays with this idea of being the Chosen One with Ace, he is son of the Pirate King, Roger had a son for the sole reason that his son would be the one to find the One Piece and bring The Dawn,Whitebeard was actually training Ace to be the next Pirate King with his knowledge, everyone in the talks about how great Ace and he is destined for greatness whereas it’s almost the opposite with Luffy, Ace has the Flame Flame which symbolizes the Sun heck his strongest attack managed Flamed Emperor looks like Ace is holding a giant Sun in his hand.
Ace is what the typical Chosen One protagonist would be, but instead Ace is the one who dies and now that leaves Luffy the unlikely Chosen One to inherit his will. Hell it took Luffy 10 just master Gum Gum Fruit and a little over 2 years to unlock its true powers,
Zoan type Fruits have their own will inside of them unlike other Fruits. So it taking so much time for Luffy to use Nika’s powers means that the fruit itself hadn’t accepted Luffy and was probably waiting to see his worth, think of Enma with Zoro.
Luffy isn’t the Chosen One who picked by Fate to be the hero, Luffy himself has no interest in being a hero but everything that he has done in his life through his on sheer will has lead him to being the hero that the world needs to bring The Dawn. Kaido himself says it doesn’t matter how incredible the power of your Devil Fruit is, at the end of it all it is Haki that transcends all.Haki which symbolizes a person’s willpower and self confidence to keep on moving forward. This is Oda telling us that it’s not Luffy’s Fruit that makes him special but Luffy’s own willpower and that it his will that ultimately changes the world not his Devil Fruit power.
PS. It very heavily suggested that it was Dragon who saved Luffy with that Lightning Bolt. Yes, there times were “Fate” seems to save Luffy and a few of them who can’t explain or reason as to why they happened but some actually have a reasonable explanation.
Honestly the One Piece RUclipsr named Mr Morj does a better job at exploring all this than me. So go check him out.

Man do I love the idea of innocent child kazui being the unknowing villain even without any Yhwach Bach shenanigans inside his soul…
But he took somethin from the guy… and he’s not in the blind at birth saving everyone with soulsharing for personal benefit at their deaths…
I think a nuanced psychological battle of a confused parent with their kid running around messing with the balance of their universe sounds Perfect for a story around what would otherwise be an epilogue…
So many fans who grew up being weekly readers now have kids and I can see using that kind of element in a really novel way compared to making kazui into a boruto or Gohan or more typical son of protagonist narrative…
But I love the idea that the biggest challenge is parenting a child with powers equivalent to their strongest villains with god powers…
Feels like a nice touch if he handles it that way…
But who knows how much the final arc changes in the anime and where it ends.. cause all of us would love the novels and other intended canon narratives getting explored and the epilogue chapter feels like the start of something he’s probably had planned for ages but knows not to reveal cause it’ll be better if he helps manage the anime making it… which who knows If that becomes a lightnovel or manga continuation…
But tie it in with Ichigo’s translator work taking him to fighting epic dragons at the Western Branch in Burn the Witch or some kinda crossover explaining things there…
So much he can work with and not simply do what everyone expects from shonen battle manga narratives…

Imagine if the climax of bleach is Ichigo needing to choose between fighting against the soul reapers or killing/sacrificing Kazui in order to stop hell.
This video is so interesting because I remember a thought crossing my mind that Kazui seems to be a representation of chaos. The powerful (and ironically noble) lineage coming from his dad, the free spirited nature of his mum, his interaction with fate in destroying Ywach's last remnants, and the unbridled potential of a child, and this child in particular. The look on his face at the end of the chapter looked like pure chaotic joy. He definitely seems like the chosen one of fate and I can see him as an existence that probably shouldn't exist by any natural means in a similar way to Ichigo.
I can also see a scenario in which soul society discovers that Kazui is the problem and comes to the conclusion that he needs to be eliminated. It's extremely in line with the soul society's M.O. of assessing an individual's danger level, which is directly linked to whether or not they can be controlled. Ichigo is a perfect example of this. In theory, he's the most dangerous character in the show. Not only is he a pseudo-soul king, but his powers seem to revolve around challenging fate itself. That's why he was always being monitored and it shows in the substitute shinigami badge he was given. Despite everything he's done for the soul society, they still wouldn't hesitate in killing him if he sided with Ginjo. The soul society fears anything that they can't control and tries to eliminate it wherever possible. Aizen, too hard to control, too powerful to kill, seal him. Kenpachi, too powerful and unpredictable to control, so don't teach him shikai/bankai. And he only ends up learning shikai and bankai when the pillar of order (Yamamoto) dies, and the new, more chaotic leader (Kyoraku) takes over, which I think in a sense is why Kyoraku is the perfect leader to contend with hell. He's the most willing to take risks by using the unpredictable (Zaraki), or using pieces that are beyond his scope of control (Aizen). But at the same time, I think Kyoraku is still a representation of order when push comes to shove. Not as stagnant as Yamamoto, but he's still somewhat of a surrogate son who, like Urahara and Ichibei, would still prioritise order in the end. And this is evident in the fact that all three of the aforementioned people had an inkling that Ichigo would potentially wind up as the soul king's replacement, but none of them outright challenged it. Ichibei was essentially grooming him for the position, Kyoraku gave passes to Ichigo's friends to visit the Sereitei in case that eventuality came to pass, and Urahara has firmly sided with the "necessary evil" reality of a linchpin. And Ichigo might've even accepted his fate if it was for the sake of the world. Self sacrifice is very in line with Ichigo's M.O.. But sacrificing those that he loves? Sacrificing his son? I think that will be his breaking point and his greatest challenge. Especially for a person who's entire motivation for acquiring power is to protect the ones he cares about.
Ichigo has probably always had an idea that the soul society aren't necessarily "good". They literally started off as his enemies. And Ichigo himself, isn't really a "good" guy either. His enemy has always been whoever poses the most danger to the ones he wants to protect. I think the hell chapter will truly test his status as a "hero" in this very morally ambiguous universe. Characters like Naruto and Luffy are more easily able to fit into a hero category because the morality of the worlds they live in is fairly simple and this makes it a lot easier for them to develop a solid philosophy. Ichigo, by comparison, feels more bland because the world he lives in is far more complex so he can't simply be a good guy fighting the bad guys. His own internal world is far too complex in fact. He has "good" guys (shinigami/human) and "bad" guys (quincy/hollow) literally living inside him. So he doesn't bother with developing his moral philosophy and just scales it down to simply protecting the ones he loves. But what if Kazui throws a spanner in the works? What if the person you want to protect is the danger itself?
Kubo has apparently centred every arc on someone close to Ichigo:
    •Soul Society - Rukia
    •Arrancar - Orihime
•Lost Agent - Chad (Apparently lol)
    •TYBW - Uryu
    •Hell Arc - Kazui?
There are so many moving pieces and so many ideas that could be explored that I'm getting really excited. But I could also be completely off base and Kubo might just go left field and do something else entirely. Either way, I'm very intrigued to see where things go with the hell chapter. I had quite a lot more to say on the topic but I didn't think a RUclips comment was the right format 😅. But I'm gonna try and post an extended version on Bleach's Reddit page if I can.
Great video though. Really got my wheels turning 🔥

The concept that you’re describing has an analog in our world. It’s call entropy. The natural flow of the universe is from order to chaos, and to maintain an ordered system given the chaotic momentum of the universe requires more and more energy over time. What I find interesting about entropy is that it is just an attribute of nature - not necessarily the will of a being. You can resist it for a while, but it is inevitable. When I think about the enemy of the artificial order of the bleach universe being entropy, it makes the inevitability of its ultimate annihilation disturbingly clear. Bleach is bleak 😅

One of the meanings of the name Kazui is Maintainer of Harmony. Other person commented that Ichigo could become antihero or even a villain. I'd say both Fate incarnate and Ichigo, who always fought for System of the 5 Nobles have a high chance to be villainous/antihero story with Kazui becoming the Hero - THE FINAL BALANCE - of Bleach Universe, as we saw that he already can open up portals to Hell, and is a part of the System of 5 Nobles.

I believe Soul Society will see Kazui as a threat. They will try to limit his power. That may be the reason for the huge object that Ichika is carrying around in Kubo's drawing, to check Kazui's immense powers. If she fails to check him, he will be sent to Sokyoku Hill with its giant execution stand.

@@rubies200 This sounds neat, Kazui's powers are very mysterious and I can see the Soul Society trying to keep tabs on him, as they did with his father before. The difference here is that Ichigo had some level of gratitude towards the SS and never rebelled against them, Kazui is still a kid and might not be in full control or knowing what he's doing. Having Ichigo and co. to clash against them would be very interesting in this scenario. We'll see what Kubo is cooking for the Hell arc hopefully soon.

Also take note on how the ancestors goals in time became the opposite, be the Shihouin becoming deadly enforcers for a stagnant system or the cover up of hell essentially being nothing more than a bandage per say. Not the power itself but the main reason it’s evolution even started. to be specific the ability to „alter the future“. We saw now in the anime that ichibei „sealed“ his eyes but technically it doesn’t make sense because he uses pernida the left hand . The hand of evolution. This is a great video, one of the best takes I've seen. One notable thing that you did, for which I am glad, is use the "Fate" poem. I believe that's the lynchpin of the Bleach universe. Except Juha's plan would've created a stagnant world. The current system isn't perfect, but it's anything except stagnant, it's just a different kind of chaos. Juha might THINK that he's doing the work of Bleach's Greater Will, but simply returning the world to what it was will create a world of stagnation like it did before.
It'd be more plausible that whatever Greater Will that exists in the Bleach universe is trying to break the stagnation that exists in Soul Society since it is the part of the universe most resistant to change.

I'm glad someone else picked up on the 5th Noble House and how it's most likely going to feature in the Hell Arc!
If we're talking crack theories, then I think I've got a DOOZY!
I THINK I might know who is the one calling Kazui to Hell or, at least, what familiar face we might meet down in Hell other than Unohanan, Ukitake, etc.
There's basically only one single plot thread that isn't tied up in a nice clean bow by the end of the TYBW, the Shiba arc. We've been getting all these reveals around the Shibas, that they were a Noble House once, that they were INVOLVED in the sealing of the Soul King, that they fell from their standing, that RUKIA was the one that got the blame for it, that Isshin was actually a Shiba too and hence also meaning that ICHIGO is a Shiba as well, but it gets left there. As far as we know, Kukaku and Ganju never find out about this, never discover that they've all been family ever since! It seems strange that something so easy to wrap up would be left behind.
And there's one character in Bleach who is basically kind of a proto-Ichigo, a character who has had a MASSIVE impact on the story and so many of the characters, and yet has always just been nothing, but a background character, but who I suspect might be coming back in the Hell Arc.
    Kaien Shiba.
Of course, Rukia did kill him, but we know that Aaroneiro also had his powers, even his Zanpakuto, but what if his Zanpakuto isn't the only thing Aaroneiro absorbed? What if Kaien's soul was absorbed into Aaroneiro? Because guess who is the OTHER Arrancar who we're pretty sure is in Hell right now alongside Szayelaporro! We still don't know what happens to the other Souls a Hollow has devoured when they're sent to Hell, though Kaien could also be a special case due to the nature of his fusion with a Hollow, but, if Kaien is somehow free and in Hell, I bet someone as family-oriented as him would be VERY interested in meeting up with his new nephew and the rest of his extended family! Plus, Rukia's a captain now, but imagine her face if he were to suddenly appear before her again! Kaien would be an excellent foil for Ichigo!

I want it to first of all be a long and well developed arc. And personally, two or three years don't seem like it to me. Unless we just want a 50 episode arc, then sure. But I genuinlly see it as it having the potential to be the new version of bleach, such as naruto's shippuden, and one piece's new world phase.
There's room for a ton, and I do mean, a ton of material. New world building, new story development, new back stories that can only become relevant under these conditions, new characters, old characters, filling in some of the gaps and voids left in its lore. And actually, completing that lore. There's also the theory of bleach being in the same universe as burn the witch, and it opbviously implies some mechanisms from that show can and will apply to bleach, and rivals worthy of seeing the bankai we haven't seen. Maybe adapting a divine comedy lore into it could work as well. 7 layers of hell seems like plenty of room for everything we have ever wanted.
There's just so much more to it than just random new fights like some people want.

had for the most part acted as jailers during the old world, until the events of the original sin they were an agents/servants to the will of "Fate".
Hell was initially meant to act as a contingency to aid in the regression/progression when the need arose, then the Lid (Seal) was placed

  • @TheAzulon
    @TheAzulon 9 месяцев назад +3

I'll be honest, in a phylosophical level, I never understood what this "life and death chaos" would mean in Bleach.
Let me explain - In Bleach's world the existence of a soul is an objective truth. Souls housed in a body are alive and souls without a body are dead. The soul itself would not change in nature, only in state. The separation would be that incarnated souls and free souls would not be able to interact.
But this line starts to blur when Ichigo (before being a shinigami) can interact with the souls of the dead - he can see and talk to them while still being alive.
And this keeps going - Ichigo's soul is separated from his body using the glove so he can act as a shinigami, but he is still alive, and in the soul society invasion Uryu, Sado and Orihime go to the world of the dead and interact whith the souls, while still alive.
And all the time Hollows, who are dead people, are capable of existing in and interacting with the world of the living.
There is also the reincarnation cycle - in theory living people die, their souls go to soul society where they spend some time, and then they reicarnate in the world of the living.
But then you see Shinigami that live for a thousand years without being forced to reincarnate to mantain balance.
Wouldn't that be a "life and death entwined" situation? Living people in the world of the dead, dead people in the world of the living, all of them interacting.

    • @SinHurr
      @SinHurr 8 месяцев назад

Yes, but the states of Uryu and co. outside of the human world are temporary affairs. And the Shinigami with extraordinary lifespans are by far the exception to souls and not the rule as far as the whole of Soul Society goes. Remember that life outside those big walls is rough, and progressively more violent the further out into Rukongai you go. The folks reborn into those outer districts are getting recycled real quick.

Always thought/ hoped Urahara would be the next antagonist in keeping with the theme of heroes really being villains and villains hereos. Would also be cool to see Uruhara do a Light Yagami.

I've long theorized that Masaki and Isshin were fated to meat, and White isn't the catalyst, but rather was taking advantage of knowing they'd meet.

  • @rmeddy
    @rmeddy 9 месяцев назад

Yeah solid speculation here, iirc there is evidence that Kubo maybe wanted the Soul King's parts be actual people onto themselves so this is logical throughline of that same conceit.
My only nitpick is Yhwach's birth and having the Almighty isn't arbitrary, he is the soul king's son, unless I misinterpreted what you were trying to say there.

  • @strayorion2031

I believe that probably, maybe, the point of ichigo being born, is to be a soul-king like being artificially created, tecnically it wasn't artificial, but with artificial I mean human/shinigami-made, if we go further with these themes, then ichigo will represent the will of those who benefit from the state of order created by the shinigami, it wasn't born out of spontaniety like the original soul king and yhwach, so I believe he exist in a outside-fate kinda state, and that's why he and his son will probably play an important role

    -Well as a son
I won't blame Ywach for everything he has done especially after what they did to his father.
Even Aizen for all his efiorts.
Both want one thing that is to somehow free the Soul King out of his misery.

What if universe's will uses Ichigo's son to advance its will? It will he very difficult for ichigo to act against his son in any way, if his son is the one who has to be used.

I think something that furthers your idea of stagnation, would be the death of yamamoto, who yhwach describes as growing weak due to his stagnation. It seems that all inklings of peace seem to inevitably tied to degradation in bleach. Great vid btw

@flameofrebirth101 one interest thing is, humans are not defenseless, they probable are not so powerfull after they robed part of soulking power and became shinigames, but think to humans existy without being extinct they need an way to defent themself, and we see that there are humans that born with powers to fight even in life against hollows
