FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP essentially transfers these web page files to the computer server so others can access them. FTP can also be used to download files or programs from the Internet to your computer. When you download these files, you are transferring them from other servers through FTP.
This is a playlist of Windows Server 2019 training. I will be uploading videos in order to get started in the system administration world with Windows Server 2019. This gets you prepared for an IT Sysadmin role. Please watch the videos in order to understand the process and configuration.

Working my way through your Windows Server 2019 video series. If you are looking for another topic that is related to Windows 2019 Server that will dove tail on this FTP service installation, I would love to see you walk through PROPERLY SERCURING IIS as it has been rather notorious for having security holes and being very difficult to secure. I will be sharing this series with my coworkers. This series is filling in lots of blanks for me as I last working on Windows Server 2008 R2. Thank you for sharing.

Port forwarding is something I am attempting on this same FTP that you helped walk me through.
