Yeah that game didn't really go to plan. I wasn't able to watch but I was following along with the score and was constantly disappointed to watch. It seems like Klopp went into this game with too much confidence. For example: Not starting Trent, Salah, Robbo, or even Bradley. I'm lost as to why he started Gomez at right back when he might be the least attacking minded defender ever. So, not only was Gomez on the right side, but Salah wasn't there either. This means that our right side which is normally our most dangerous and offensively productive side (with Trent and Salah over there) was now rendered quite dull. I like Gomez and Harvey of course, but they need to be supplemented with more attacking minded players as well, in my opinion. Harvey plays better in more of a number 10 role rather than beating players 1 on 1 on the wing. Again, I did not watch the game but this is just a theory as to what happened based on Klopp's starting lineup. As to the halftime and ~60' substitutions and where those went wrong, I have no idea. I heard Gakpo had a good game, though, and it's nice to hear that he's returning to form.

It was a disaster from start to finish. No one really played well, and our defense and midfield were totally deflated from the first whistle to the last.
