Absolutely spot on with that mate. Midweek European nights are on a different level to Saturday 3pm against middle of the league teams. But that’s because you have more local people at the game because the foreigners or people who live down south etc can’t get there as easily on a midweek game. A lot of people who go the game on a Saturday are tourists who have got tickets from supporters clubs and all that stuff, but they don’t seem to realise that they have to create the atmosphere, whereas they think the atmosphere is created by other people. That’s my opinion anyway. But when you have a history like we do, then sometimes the Saturday games are less exciting than the European games

Not in a bad way, just most of our match-going fans, have experienced a lot.

You could see how it affected the Barcelona players in the famous 4-0 semi final return leg, some of them looked bewildered when it was 3-0, others were concentrating on putting on a tough face.
You know that Messi told his mates in Barca that they must make at least 4 goals before going to Anfield. They scored only 3 and that became their downfall. It shows both what kind of stadium Anfield is and what an intelligent player Messi is. ❤ YNWA.
@@jant.carlsson5061I honestly don't think it would've mattered if they scored that 4th goal. That squad in that season was just dogmatic about winning that CL. All credit to the sporting comments made by so many high profile football people. How many experienced the Kop, when it was the Kop ? Yes the ground rises as one but standing on there was something else. But scary when pressed against a barrier but a magnificent place to watch the reds.
I 'm a Swedish supporter of Liverpool, I've been to Anfield and I feel proud over what these people say about the place. Of course there's something about not only Anfield, but the entire town of Liverpool. The people there have created a culture that brought The Beatles to the world and the football club is just amazing. To me Liverpool is a die hard working class city with the values that follows and it reflects on the club. It's no sell out there, it's about sticking together and fight till the ref blows the pipe and the fat lady has sung. For anyone who has ever stood on the Kop - or even been in the ground for the singing of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' it is a spine thingling moment. Football supporters have 1 team in their lifetime you will never understand what rivalry really means
It's good when men admit their mistakes and rectify them.
@martinnorton8475 it was 85 not now and I wasn't that much in love with United, away not in England, only watch Finals or hilights of the matches
You can't switch sides and you definitely can't support Man Utd then decide you're going to support Liverpool. That's just not on!!
@@Greg-rv5vmIf you're not a local, you may not understand the rivalry like the locals. I'm not from England. My dad is a man united fan and I used watch games with him sometimes when I was a kid. But as I grew up and started watching and understanding football more, I started supporting Liverpool. It happens.
Liverpool would've still gone into that match to draw blood and score as much as we needed. I wholeheartedly believe that to this day. We were not to be denied.
And there are still rival fans that say the anfield atmosphere is a myth 🫣
I know mate it's funny it's normally little club supporters they can't get there heads round the fact it's not a big game and if the players needed are supporter we will sing and give their players he'll like we are playing big name players up the reds let's hope Liverpool has a boss season ❤
All credit to the sporting comments made by so many high profile football people. How many experienced the Kop, when it was the Kop ? Yes the ground rises as one but standing on there was something else. But scary when pressed against a barrier but a magnificent place to watch the reds.
2:55 Jose saying that means something
Can’t wait to pump United again next season. Best feeling
Just today we beat Fullham 4-3 after staying 2-3 till 85 minutes.
This is Anfield 🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
Am from Uganda
Been a Liverpool fan for 23 years now
Will be in the kop stand one day
I 'm a Swedish supporter of Liverpool, I've been to Anfield and I feel proud over what these people say about the place. I'm not from Liverpool, I'm not even English, but I feel proud over the city and the club. YNWA. ❤
It's true ❤❣️❣️❣️ LFC and Anfild is magic ❣️❣️❣️
I hope we can continue this fanbase and atmosphere for centuries to come
As long as scousers live, the atmosphere will be amazing.
Arteta's brows is a nightmare too 😂
ask barce about Anfield… that night
respect fr those marvelous players ynwa
Waiting for the little clubs to say the atmosphere is shit. Which it is against small clubs
Respect
Arteta looking like someone from Star Trek on here
For anyone who has ever stood on the Kop - or even been in the ground for the singing of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' it is a spine thingling moment. As a lifelong Red from Bootle it is bordering on the spiritual. A mate from work - a 6' 4" rugby player - unabashedly told me he gets a tear every time he hears it at the ground - particularly when taking his lad. Special. YNWA
Great this 👏🏽
YNWA AS A LIVERPOOL FAN I'M REALLY PROUD BEING A DIEHARD FAN YNWA❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks to shanks and the boys…when it’s rocking its phenomenal
No words to decsribe you need to be there to know it.
Magnifying the sound through their speakers…
Enter ye all and leave broken hearted. 💔
Fortress Anfield.
I love how Mourinho use "that club" 😂
30 yrs of supporting lfc from somalia
United supporter here and I have no problem admitting that anfield is a stadium like no other I honestly wish OT was like it. Some of the best players and managers in the world have crumbled like pastry with the intensity at anfield think of Guardiolas city in 2018 Barcelona 2019 mourinhos Chelsea in 05 and 07
Arteta and thunderbirds are Go
😂
He looks like it for real
Im happy its not one of these souless bowl stadiums that everyone seems to have. It's a real football ground
Pep, best explanation you can get
You will never walk alone! Go Reds
TWO WORDS.......BILL SHANKLY.
Love hearing that
We are Liverpool & this means more...Y.N.W.A The record breaking Mighty Reds...We put fear into our rivals when they visit Anfield ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
If I could ever visit England, it will be because of Amfield. Liverpool for life.
Anfield is a special place
Liverpool is a special club and the supporters are out of this world
YNWA
I hope oneday I'll be able to experience this.😢
Patrice's Shirt is fire
I love my club! ❤️❤️❤️
wow...impressive
we respect these legends
we hate them but respect them
Thomas muller love this player
1:11 Thomas Muller in Liverpool would be amazing tho💯
if this video doesnt tell all of you reading this that LFC is the best club in the world nothing will, none of those interviewed were talking about their respective clubs or their past clubs for that matter
Cue big Dave the English pit bull from Barnoldswick who says “it’s got sod all on a cold wet Tuesday night in Stoke”….😂
As a BORO supporter I couldn’t agree more, when they turn it on at home, no one’s winning
a stadium and atmosphere Barcelona will never forget.
Much love my team ❤
