Names that end in "ry" or "rry" so gaRRY becomes gazza, teRRY becomes taz or tazza. OR names that start with a "_a___" so gAscoigne becomes gazza, wAyne becomes wazza. Everyone keeps mentioning Jota but when he was fit he wasn't a starter. It was Gakpo last year. Nunez would come on Jota was not in the team. They still have Gakpo but now Nunez starts more.

If Liverpool produce results in their final games, they can hold their heads high and say they couldn't do any more. But like Carra said, they can't just fade away into the distance and leave the title race as a two horse race.

finishing is a natural thing at elite level. nunez hasnt got it. jota does. certain people have calmness in match situations. My biggest worry is that the most important attribute in finishing isnt seen as much as pre-2010s because the number one attribute for every player comming through to professional level, in every single country is athleticism. its 11 athletes v 11 athletes. the guys nowadays like a fowler or a inzaghi or van nistelrooy dont get into the top teams cos they arent athletes.

This is the main thing; Jamie's right. What is klopp supposed to do? Wenger's announcement he even said himself was detrimental to Arsenal's performance. If Klopp announced it at the end of the season, there would be no chance for a real goodbye from the players, so when is he supposed to do it>

i believe liverpool should put in a interim manager. every time we've seen a long term manager leave, the following manager doesn't lost longer than 2 seasons. like david moyes after fergie, unai emery after arsene wenger. we this often in the business world too.

The reality is that during this season, Liverpool have been in a fake position in the Premier League.
They have conceded first in the majority of their games, they have defended poorly, with the exception of MacAllister, their midfield creativity is weak, and the front three are misfiring badly! Man City and Arsenal have been far superior to Liverpool.
Everton were definitely hungrier in this derby, and as a Liverpool fan, I believe that it’s absolutely ridiculous that they and Notts Forest have points deducted. Things that happen off the field should stay off the field, rather fine the club!

i think people are comparing utd's xperiences after fergie will have similar effect at liverpool with klopp leaving. i think the biggest difference is the new manager is walking into an organised structure with michael edwards at the helm, i think liverpool will continue in hte right direction.

Even if we would have won against Palace and Everton and stood here with 80 points, I still believe we would bottle one of the remaining 4 games. The only difference is , I would feel even more miserable than I do now. Now I at least know where my place is (#3) and I will watch the remaining 4 games in peace rather than biting my nails off. :) So look at at the bright side - this is all a blessing in disguise. Or are you seriously telling me that having (again)90/91 points and STILL not being Champions is a BETTER place to be???
