Props to Thierry for being human and trying to discuss that Pep has personal life problems at the moment that are hampering him, and it's not easy to deal with that. Classy guy
ag please, other managers has it way worse. Pep can only play well if he has the worlds best players. otherwise he is pretty average.
Thierry went through the exact same thing and I imagine Pep witnessed it. They are clearly friendly, so Titi is being a good mate
@@Ghost-tx4ft BS
@@Ghost-tx4ftas I understand it, he recently got divorced.
@@Ghost-tx4ft The hardest thing that a manager can achieve is consistency, and money does not buy consistency. Money is obviously needed at this level, but it's still only 1 of many many factors. Look at Chelsea, they have spent a shitload of money, but the consistency ain't there. Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers of all time, do not let this slug period and your ignorant simplistic view of football cloud that. Going through a divorce can be a traumatic experience and definitely takes up all your headspace.
Foden never ever gets criticised. It’s mental. Ghosted yet again but it’s fine as he scored twice against Ipswich.
It's mad how be has dropped off
True, Pep should ship him on, very over rated and for England also
@alexanderMason-f4f he's a system player. It was inevitable
@ EXACTLY! HE'S A SYSTEM PLAYER
He's English lad.. Beyond critiscm
Thierry Henry is a breath of fresh air whenever he comes in🔥🔥
So much more watchable when they there is someone to check skys northern media bias.
He’s a waffler. He says a lot without saying anything. Great player but a terrible manager and a terrible pundit imo.
@timeless4369 found the Man Utd fan, how’s 16th 🤣
@aadfr9422 Completely irrelevant you numpty
@user-tq4gv2ps5h I care because I want quality, in depth punditry. Not basic, trashy, egotistical opinions.
Is Saka put up the performance Foden has this year we would never hear the end of it.
Just proves how good Saka really is
Real talk !
Saka 😂😂😂
Saka???🤣🤣
This is why CBS is elite having these 3 every week 😂
Excise me but what is CBS
Yeah they had to reel it in a little bit but they let loose at the end there.
@BuchizgaRicharrison American TV rights holder for the UEFA champions league, they have Henry, Carra, & Micah nearly every night and those guys turn into top-tier entertainers, which works quite well for the general American TV audience
they'd criticize haaland for hours but not even dare touch on the issue of the mighty pfa player of the year
Love how pundits are mercenaries and can sign with multiple teams now lol. CBS lineup should take over every show lol
Them 3 should have their own show/ podcast tbh
Hahahahahahaha
They kind of burst into their CBS version there at the very end haha
Na...don't want it EVERYWHERE! Also Kate Scott is a vital part of the team
@@pauldkb1700 🤣 CBS Micah wants to come out so bad all along
That ending was hilarious
Henry is such a great pundit
hahaha
Hahahahahahaha
Hahahahahahahahaha
Was a great player as well.
Arsenal wanted to take it easy yesterday but soon as haaland scored they said na belt to ass time. It’s like him scoring triggered the whole Arsenal team to go up a gear, it was a beatdown from then on.
At the end of the day it's still only 3 points no matter the score😂
@@jordanheddle934yea a humbling 3 points
@@jordanheddle934genuine question, do you say this sort of thing when your team wins by a big margin?
If so, you must lead a miserable life.
@@sadiaislam0023 how is it humbling, city give up multiple goals to every team they play against? classic arsenal thinking they're good because they beat the worst city team in like 10 years
Even United beat this City side. You lot brag alot for a team who comes 2nd.
David - "In 10 seconds can Arsenal win the title?"
Henry - "It's impossible to win it in 10 seconds"
Micah - "Just sold me car" 😂
“🎶🎶🎶🎶 we buy any car “
that was such a weird question 😂
Someone explain this 😂
I don't get it
@@bazalinco i think its an ad. I've seen it a few times but i guess you have to have english tv to get it. i don't know why he said it in that moment and why it's that funny.. Would like to know as well. maybe just to say "time's over, on to the ads!"
On stats rice wins, but on controlling the tempo, initiating attacks, controlling the transitions and just being the General/Maestro , this match goes purely to Partey.
He made bad balls look good, made city shrink in the midfield with hus presense. Just a master class.
Partey was excellent
He controlled the game
Man of the Match
I didn't realize how jacked Henry is now, class!
Meeks been dragging him to the gym 😁
It all started when a certain someone become Mrs Scott. 😂
@@BleachDemon99the opposite. He trained with henry last year and it was Micah that couldn't handle it.
@@Enforcer901😂😂😂😂
Why do you call him Henry when his name is Thierry? Do you call your friends by their last name? Weird
Thierry's analysis of Havertz's goal was beautiful. He gets it.
I remember criticizing Kai's run in real-time, saying a 9 should pull away and then make the near-post run. Made me eat my words haha
Online expert don't eat your words 🤣@@johnherd1002
After watching the game again,I applauded Kai for that run bcx Odegard was going to the other which created divided attention for the defenders.. perfect run n beautiful goal
@johnherd1002 To be fair to you, if Havertz hadn't scored, everyone would be saying what you thought because that is what you would generally coach a player to do
I agree with you john, i felt the samw
Why can’t they show the highlights again? They already have it on their channel
Fr, It's so annoying
This is the global version, so all international viewers can see it. For that reason they can't put the highlights. As an example, I can not even see the highlights video on their page since i'm not in the UK, but i can see and watch this one.
@@delanocallender6265 ah I see. Didn’t realise that was a thing on RUclips. Thank you 🙏🏽

@@TheAnimalWolverine He didn't shy away from how awful their defending is
True!
Without Prime Rodri, KDB & Bernardo they can't control the midfield. All the greatest teams controlled the midfield. 2010S Madrid(Modric, Kroos & Casimero), Barcelona (Xavi, Instagram, Busquets), Bayern Schweinsteiger, Kroos & Javi Martinez) when you don't have top tier midfielders it makes it hard on the attackers
Who the f is Instagram 😂
@@Thejustshorts10 I think he meant Iniesta. I thought it was his nickname or something.
The media is so biased. Anyone who watched that game as a neutral so that Partey was the man of the match. Imagine bossing the midfield and even scoring a goal and you still can’t win man of the match just coz the other player is English.
Thomas was the biggest key for our win. After his goal , all had changed. He deserved the man of the match. Why did he not get it ? I have no idea but he surely deserves it.
Sky don’t like to talk to him because of the numerous allegations about him and because he shouldn’t really ever play football again due to him being a rapist
Partey was phenomenal - 9.5/10 rating. So nice to see him in the midfield finnally. Declan was instrumental too 8.5/10 in my opinion. If Kai finished that early chance, he would've had a hat trick of assists. Also played a huge part of the first goal too.
Calm down. Partey was class, and I agree that he deserved the motm. But u can't tell me Rice didn't deserve it either
Partey was man of the match 🔥
if sky sports own the content, why are they showing freeze frames of the gameplay..?
I think England has very strict laws regarding their content being shown outside of the country.
@@louisalvarez8546 the highlights they post are blocked to viewers outside the UK?
Sky own the rights to Premier League in England but not in let’s say Canada where it’s Fubo or in US where it’s peacock or nbc. Since RUclips is global, they can’t post the actual game as it would overlap into other countries where a different company owns rights
global content. cant see the game footage depending on the nation. the same way cbs does their ucl coverage w the game highlights if branched out to diff nations outside of usa.
Thierry Henry on Haaland is bang on. Haaland goes missing far too often
He’s really not when Haaland scored yesterday and the match vs Arsenal before this with literal scraps.
Haaland should be the last person spoken about after yesterdays game
Only Haaland could score a goal, equalising the game at 1-1, scoring the only chance he received all game and he gets the blame over the defence that conceded 5 and made 3 individual mistakes costing goals..
@@hellohi1445 you didn't listen, did you? He's criticized with his work offensively off the ball
@@johnherd1002 but that criticism happens to go back to the Man City team instead.
“Run in behind.” This has been the issue for 3 years now. Haaland running in behind and if ur not kovacic or de bruyne, u won’t even acknowledge that pass. Marmoush runs also will just make that issue even more clear.
“Be more aggressive to the defenders.” City beat Chelsea by playing long balls to Haaland. Why don’t they carry on doing that in arsenal game? Especially since they’re making mistakes playing out the back?
He didn’t have a perfect performance. Far from that. But 10 other players on the pitch and that’s the guy all 3 choose to criticise heavily? Personally for me, I just don’t understand why.
@hellohi1445 it comes with being a superstar player. Happens in all sports. The spotlight goes on the main guy, for better or worse. Some players like Haaland can take the attention, others can't take the weight of the responsibility.
7:14 : Jamie, brilliant with the third man reference..
Spurs and Ange Lostacogortwo showed grit. Well done Ange and Spurs. Good win.
Big Ange Impostercoglu 😂😂
Ange what? 🤣🤣🤣 U funny mate
Roy Keane has said that players should not be pressured into taking pay cuts. He believes that wages and contracts are personal matters between a player and their club.
Roy was spot on
Completely agreed, how many professions do you get so many people outside with opinions on your salary. 100% shouldn’t be something that’s public information
Declan, Partey, Martinelli, Leandro. All were 7s and 8s. That poke by Trousard to loose the ball in the 1st minute set the tone for the next 90.
Fortunately, Khusanov did not play in this match,
After this game, Abdukadiru should keep his cool. He saw with his own eyes the mistakes of Akanji, Stones, Kovacic, Bernardo Silva, Foden and other leading players.
After the match with Chelsea, Guardiola said that Khusanov had recently joined the team and did not speak English. So what is the problem with the players who took to the field today?
Without a doubt, Manchester City's main problem now is their psychological state. After Foden's mistake and Holland's goal, as well as Partey's goal a few minutes later, the team was in a state of confusion. However, Arsenal was inspired and simply began to smash the opponent.
It seems that with Khusanov, City's squad will improve, if it improves, but not worsen.
John Stones was the problem, every goal except the last one was scored on him. City held possession well actually, but the defense was just comes, disorganised and too many holes
2025 and sky sports still have to use still images for a post game analysis 😂😂😂
cz sky Doesn't have the rights to Show Their Broadcast or Highlights outside Uk.
Are you uneducated?
Copyright issues
I tot this is skysports broadcast, why this still?
Well, Sky Sports highlights of ManCity vs Arsenal isnt available on YT or their site for viewers outside UK whereas this analysis show is.
Really good powerpoint presentation.
Bring in Mario Balotelli as a pundit
That's a fire hazard, whole studio will go up in flames😂😂
@@Johnfire12346 😂😂😂
Might turn up during the second half
I'd put Stones that defensive midfield role, he did well there pre-Rodri and can't be any worse than Kovacic who wants to try to dribble out from his own 16 yard box.
Henry still bigging up Alan Shearer. A brilliant striker remembers another brilliant striker is perfect 👌👍
i hate that they remove the recaps... whats a screenshot going to tell me?
ik its a disgrace. must have to with having the rights to the highlights.
Nothing, but better then a black screen.
As an Arsenal fan, whether he’s biased or not Jamie Carragher is a great pundit and those 3 are an elite combo
Thierry is spot on don’t be clouded by this game WE NEED A STRIKER HAVERTZ IS NOT THE GUY. 19:37
Harvetz is the guy but we can't depend on him to play his best in all matches so we need another striker
Rice was good, but how he was MOTM ahead of Partey is something we have become accustomed to now from English pundits 😂😂. Criminally underrated player. No wonder we collapse once man is out of the midfield. We will have to really spend big to get a quality replacement for him
They're the new james may, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson
I watched the game yesterday in the stadium, city don’t have that fear factor anymore
13:36 best point that so many are overlooking. Haaland is greater than what Pep's systems allows him to be
Of everyone in this panel, Titi is the only one I will pay attention to. More accomplished, more experienced, more level headed and fair.
This trio have God tier chemistry no wonder everybody loves watching CBS on Champions League nights.
Why is Sky Sports giving us Blue Lock animation when they should have the rights to replays?
😂😂😂
So the video can be posted globally
Gabriel sending haaland to go get is boots was priceless 😂😂😂
the fact that haaland became a scape goat for the loss is baffling
Great touch from Henry re Pep’s struggles atm. Class act on & off the pitch always.
Arsenal defence is classic
Pep: Mikel, you've done really well over the past couple of seasons, people are starting to question the Premier Leagues competitiveness with us winning it every year, I'll back off this season, it's yours.
Mikel: I respect that Pep, thanks a lot!
Liverpool listening in: 👀 😈
Really nice to be able to hear these analyses in full form on RUclips
Micah: just sold my car!! 🤣🤣🤣 killed it
STAY HUMBLE EH!😂
Wonder where this energy from Carra was when he was criticising Pogba for not putting up enough numbers
If I recall most of his criticism of Pogba was him being lazy and his lack of discipline.
Haaland didn't get the advice of arsenal fans stay humble when he scored then the punishment delivered immediately 😅5*1
Actually he stop celebrating
When did thiery get so jackedd, still an example in his older age
I love Dave, excellent anchor, knows how to hold up his arms when shot down by Micha’s comic timing. Could watch another half hour of banter and expert opinions.
Henry bringing up Isak as an example was spot on. Which is why I truly feel he's a more complete #9 than Haaland is. He's just more naturally talented in other areas. I also agree with Richards that Haaland doesn't utilize his frame enough. I swear he was much different player at Dortmund.
Henry always so respectful of Pep.
Victory ok, but disappointed not to have signed a striker
Sigh, why is the narrative that City gifted a 5-1 thrashing to Arsenal, instead of showering the winners with praise? Tsk.
YES SKY SPORTS THANK YOU! Please keep it coming with long videos of these 3!
Rice is very solid. That’s it. These lot always chase results man. One win and a players up, one loss and he’s down. Rice is and has always been very solid. It’s just that many overrate him and many underrate him. Classic English situation. Really he’s just very good but not world class
I understand Henry's point on Haaland but it just be frustrating making all those runs and NEVER getting the ball. Pep definitely deserves some criticism for that.
That said, him making those runs does help the team by stretching the defence🤷🏾♂️
I've never seen a team buckle more from losing one player. Liverpool lose Xabi Alonso, sink from 1/2 to 6/7. Mancity lose Rodri, still fighting for 3/4th. ok then Micah...
Henry is not just knowledgeable, he is quite intelligent. Most people wouldn`t be able to link Pep`s personal issues to his performance. This is why great managers bench certain players when when they are going through emotional turmoil
I love this trio
Haaland is similar to Berbatov. With the ball - magician, will score. Without the ball - forget it. Similar build as well, fairly tall
Pep said he's gonna go to war with Arsenal/Arteta...😂
18:15 FA Cup final 2024????
Haaland isnt at fault, they want him to take touches, make runs and be physical and thats bullshit talk cuz first off hes alone up there against the best center back pairing in the league and got a goal today, and he made several runs and always has but city's midfield this season is so negative and uncreative they dont like sending those ball to him and marmoush is facing the same issue
City miss rodri who used to make those passes from deep, they need midfielders with physicality and the ability to progess the ball up the pitch
The forwards are so starved
City are worse this season creatively than last season and thats cuz you cant pick out one creative player in midfield
Love this combo of Thierry,Micah and Jamie
The we buy any car gaff was class 😂😂😂
Why can’t they show the video, it’s the next day do they not own the replay rights?
They want to make these type of analysis videos available worldwide. Actual game footage is territorial.
i've got used to them at cbs and now they seem too serious
For me, its all on Pep. The high-press, play it from the back style requires fitness, talent, tactical understanding and a great CDM; hence why no other team can do it well. With injuries galore, its a strategy that just won’t work at the moment yet Pep stubbornly won’t let the strategy go…
As a Liverpool fan Declan Rice is pure gold I criticised his price tag but hes looking strong.
Jamie talking about Haaland and kids not wanting to play again if they barely touched the ball is SPOT ON, it can’t be fun for him surely
It’s ridiculous sky can’t play real highlights and only freeze frames, money has ruined this game!
Foden is a good player who's capable of brilliance. He's not an elite footballing machine who you can build a team around. That's okay, but let's stop calling him world class.
That's how Arsenal should've played, keep attacking even after they're ahead by 1 goal because they are capable of doing that, Arsenal have one of the best squad in the league even the bench still full of decent players, i don't even understand why Arteta keep asking them to time wasting in many previous match, it's just ridiculous.
Thierry Henry is a doer and not a talker that's why it looks it's difficult for him to describe exactly what he means, I love watchinghis body language & hand gestures whilst listening to him...yes, English is his 2nd language but i still love listening to him. Arsenal legend❤🫂💙
Elite punditry on display. Breath of fresh air
I can listen to these guys the whole day
Rice is still underrated in my opinion. Look at the first time ball to the wing for Nwaneri
22:30 Jamie looking dead into Neville's eyes after that man united dig 🤣🤣🤣
I get you Henry. It’s like that goal you scored against Liverpool. When you went deep, got the ball and beat half of Liverpool team.
Loosing Rodri is vital, but not replacing Alvarez with another a jake for all trades forward was also a bad mistake
Thiery Henry is just the best
Glad we got the win today.
From a City perspective. Their biggest issue is that they do not have a fully fit De Bruyne playing every week. He is arguably one of the best midfielders in prem history and City MUST try to find a suitable replacement for him now that he is unable to put the same amount of minutes in.
Why don't they let you see the replays
As a man united fan this result cheered me up.
The best City teams where the centurion and 98 points team. Those teams where just a joy of pure football.
Liverpool 2-0 Man City, was more of a battering than this game.
Henry fancy playing for everton till end of season? Im sure you still got it
I think Carra’s point is half right about Arsenal not winning the title after contending for 3 years. It’s not on Arteta but it’s on KSE. They failed to provide him the weapons to chase a Liverpool or a city. You cannot expect to win a title when 2 of your forwards are injured & their replacement is a 17 yr old academy kid & Raheem Sterling.
To add to Terrific Thierry, they are the same team before they had their money.
I can listen to Titi all day…. Damn , his football IQ is top notch ❤❤❤
Love how they brought almost the whole CBS team for this one😂
It’s over for city … Haaland was made out to be this legend when he had only one good season !! Be humble !! Your time is over city
Erling "Stay humble" Haaland in the mud. Hard.
The trio we didn’t know we needed, absolute class.
They are on CBS CL program for years now
Which trio? The one for arsenal or this one presenting
@@BuchizgaRicharrisonpresenting
I really hate this about pundits when they're talking about premier League players. Why do they never acknowledge how they used to play before they got transferred?
7:12 Nwaneri had more touches and he came on at the 84th minute. You could argue that he had a larger impact on the game as a whole too
