@rioferdinandpresents Yoro will be pure class once he matures into the complete CB and player that he can be. I predict that he will be on a similar level as other great French CBs such as Blanc, Saliba, Hernandez bros, Varane (Peak Real Madrid Varane, not the flopstar that played for us) and possibly the underrated and forgotten Gallas and Kosielny.. Rio, Sol, Ledley, Super Villain John Terry, Des Walker, Tony Adams, Gary Pallister, Dias, Carvalho, Kompany, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pique, V.Dykje, Hyppia, Montero, Ayala, Cordoba, Raphael Marquez, are also high standard CB role models, too. However, he should aim to be a next level world class great, such as- 'The Rock' Marcel Desailly, Sergio Ramos and Carlos Poyul, France Baresi, Thiago Silva, Lucio, Jaap Stam and Fabio Canavaro. The Two German sweepers Beckenbauer AKA Der Kaiser, sammer and lothar Matheus were damn good CBs too😊 I'm sures there's a few CBs that I have missed, so if anyone can remember amazing CBs of yesteryear, then please mention them 🙏 😊 ⚽️ 🏟
It's obvious Rio likes this guy. He genuinely wants him to be successful and a great defender by giving him great tips on the art of defending. That's what all ex-Man United players should do.
Ya, the way he tackles and passes the ball, he has the swagger RF had in his playing time. He needs more game time to claim his regular place in the team.
@opyski We Should buy Max Kilman from West Ham, as a squad player / spare CB. Personally, I'd play him centrally, with Yoro and De-Ligt beside him.. He's a great defender /stopper and is pure class on the ball. Botman of Newcastle looks special too, as does Mickey VD.Ven and Romero of Spurs. Jonathan Tah of B.Leverskusen is worth a punt and available on a Free this summer too. But i have a feeling that Ruben wants his trusted lieutenant from Sporting Lisbon - Inacio. Martinez, Shaw, Dalot and the kid Heavenly can all be covering CBs. Evans is more than welcome to stay one more year, but Ol slabhead Maguire needs to go, even though he has signed a new contract extension. He would be better suited at a team like Newcastle, Everton or even Brighton. Other freebeeies up for grabs are Kyle W.Peters, Mitchell and Semudo who can all do a job for us at fullback, after the dogshit signing of Malacia and letting homegrown Spanish-gem of a LB Alvaro Fernandez join Benfica. I hope Dogu comes good at LB too and Amas develops into an even better LB than Alvaro F. Mazroui looks awesome on his day at RWB, but Dalot looks a bit average, especially going forward. Maybe he can be an important squad player, who can fill in at RWB or LWB if need be. But I think the right side of the three CBs is the best position for him. Also, Jonathan David of Lille (Striker), ex_city player Leroy Sane of Bayern (Left attack) and Angel Gomes (central-midfield) are all available on frees! We a should snap up all three to balance the books for FFP / raise funds for other signings by selling off / loaning out Rashford (😔 😟🙁😥), Sancho, Antony, Zirkzee, Casemiro, Mount and possibly Garnacho ( if the spoilt brat is unhappy). My dream is for Our Kid The English R9 Mason Greenwood to come back home, and rip it up on that right hand side, or even play centrally, with Diallo and someone like Sane or a non- sulking Garnacho in support. Imagine if ETH had not been a bone headed bald Dutchman and found a way to play Greenwood, Rashford and Sancho all together. 😳 🤔❤️ That Combination with the likes of Bruno, mount, mainoo, ugarte, casemiro behind them could have been the stuff of Legends / DreamTeam. 😊❤️⚽️🏟
I have my heart in my mouth over this kid. Most don't realise how young he is to be a Premier League centre back. He is about five years ahead of where a normal centre back would be at his age. Don't expect too much of him, let him have his mistakes and still applaud him. If he continues to work hard, he could be our new Rio.
If only Garnacho was more mature like Mainooo, instead of sulking and pushing for moves. Diallo seems like a humble and low maintenance type of lad, too. Hopefully, Hojlund, Zirkzee, and the new Heavenly kid are sensible and hardworking dudes too.
Don’t forget that Mainoo, is only about 7 months older than Yoro too. He’s mature WAY BEYOND his years!! In all the mess at United, these young talents are the bright light at the club.
I think the most important thing people are missing in this interview is that this kid has got a real good head on his shoulders. Knows to stay of social media. Investing outside of the club in himself. Drive and humble. Knows not to keep yes men around him. He’s going straight to the top.
It’s good to see Rio talking with young players like this. Shouting over Ste and the Arsenal fan guy might get the views but this is where he’s at his best. Pity he’s not involved with coaching at United in some capacity. Arguably the best CB the club had during the PL era.
I don’t care about his footballing coaching ability. I trust Ruben’s men. I want him in there for the mindset. I LOVE when Rio said that when he arrived he knew the hard work began. Instead of feeling like he made it. Our players need that
@ Rooney, Zlatan, CR7, Falcao, Bastien, Casemiro… the list goes on of massive players with elite mentalities that have been around this club and successive squads for the last decade. The club is rotten to the core. The players can have an absolute stinker and lose 7-0 to Liverpool then the next day they are in a glitzy photoshoot to sell the next piece of club merchandise. Rashford has had a new contract after celebrating on a night out after a derby loss… under sir Alex he wouldn’t even be near the first team for months and sold at the first opportunity. These things may seem small but they mount up over the years. Hopefully Ruben is given the time to fully reset the squad, no matter the league position or cost.
Brilliant interview , brilliant responses , great honesty on his weakness and strength. One Vs one has struggled a bit and it's great he is aware and will work on making it better
Y@@MK-vq6uy yes early days are never easy, I remember Rio's first games too were not smooth same with Vidic..for 90% of players it takes time to shine in Premier league
Rio asking intelligent questions, getting an insight into the players mentality, key players in the dressing room, thought processes all while dropping gems to help them. Agent Rio.
What I like about Yoro is his ability to make the pass without receiving the ball. His quick one touch passes, straight on the ground are glorious to watch!
Love this interview man. Rio is the perfect person to be interviewing Lenny and I love how Rio gives tips and asks the questions correctly. Such a great example to learn off and aspire towards.

Yoro is a top man and a really good recovery tackler. I’ve seen so many good tackles already from him. We are lucky to have him on our team. We love you Yoro. Keep it up.
Every time Yoro talked about not being lazy and having the right attitude and doing the right things off the pitch, I felt like he was taking shots at Rashford. Because whenever he was asked about players who helped him get settled in after he signed and who helped him through his injury, he name dropped half the squad including the young ones like Kobbie Mainoo but never once mentioned Rashford’s name. That’s quite telling for me because Rashford was one of the main faces of the club before Ruben came in.
The sky is the limit for Leny Yoro! Great kid, good attitude- if he keeps his head up and keeps his body and mind right he is going to be a special player one day. One of the few bright spots in our club right now ❤

Leny Leny Leny ~ There's a lot I like about what he said, but what impressed me the most was he didn't hestitate when asked if he wants to be a leader of the team. That's the character we need in United. We need players who wants to work hard, up their game and step up. I printed his jersey this season and I'm buzzing for that tackle against Liverpool and penalty score against Arsenal. Guess what? The first player name I've ever printed on my jersey was Rio's England shirt. 🥰😍🤩

We need you to interview Anderson. How did he get by for so long at United just because Fergie liked him.
Definitely excited about him being at united he seems to be a sound building block for the future of our club GGMU
Really enjoyed this. Thanks Rio. I see a lot of young Rio in Leny. Let’s hope he rises to the heights of our one and only No.5!!!
I hope so too
Leny, future legend!! GGMU
After the injury of martinez we need someone good with the ball behind, leny its time to shine
Leny is going to be a beast for united
Great advice at the end Rio
S boy is chill and has the brains for it!
Magic interview with 2 magic players 20 years apart!
What a great guy, nice to get to know him more as a United fan 😁
