Sir Alex gets so much credit and deservedly so. He’s left an outstanding legacy.
But I think ally Mcoist is a fantastic addition to any football set up. The guy has unlimited passion and enthusiasm for the game and always seems to find a way to have a laugh.
I love the story of how Jock Stein helped Aberdeen win against Madrid as told by Sir Alex himself
He's still got that glint in his eyes, I'm so thankful we had him as our manager for such a long time. Truly a Knight of the game.
The Scot who built the English Prem
He didn't build anything and it was Englishman Mark Robins who saved his career with that goal in the FA cup!
@@paulmichael9413”he didn’t build anything”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The longevity of his success sets Ferguson apart. Many great managers achieved success within a relatively narrow window of time (eg Clough, Wenger). But Ferguson was able to change and adapt with the game to dominate for decades. That’s why, for me, he’s the 🐐
Lovely to hear the Great Jimmy Sirrell get a mention.
His reputation has surely been tarnished by operation Yewtree?
What a classy man Sir Alex Ferguson is. Always suited and booted no matter his age or health. And super Ally too, still
calling him gaffer to this day is lovely 👏
Was Sir Alex in good form Ally?
aye think he was in good form, cant remember. Will ask again
😅
He is an old man,,a life long mentor,,lost his wife,,,was very ill,,,its called respect,,,,learn some. Fud.
He looks good for his age
@@joshuakithyoma9575 so does your mum
Liverpool fan here, this man’s impossible not to love, his memory is something else and his love for football is so brilliant to see, Goat 🏴
Fantastic interview Ally had the pleasure of watching Sir Alex playing for Ranges he's undoubtedly Britain's greatest manager 👏👏👏
The Greatest Football Manager Of All Time ❤
The greatest manager of all time what he did no other manager can do that not just man united
What a man football royalty at its finest ,as a fellow Scotsman sir Alex broke the old firm stranglehold that will never be done again …🏴
Superb. More of this please TNT
Ruined my 20s as a Liverpool fan but what a manager
Absolutely superb interview. Huge fan of both as a fellow Scotsman and someone from Falkirk who Sir Alex played for and who lived near East Stirlingshire FC's stadium what Sir Alex achieved in his managerial career was unbelievable at both Aberdeen and Man Utd. Born winner and got to know players and staff on a level that showed his man management skills were one of his greatest assets.
Two legends that are both good guys too 🏴❤️🇬🇧
i'm a united fan but i believe that everything that he did at Aberdeen was his greatest achievement, the rest is just cherry on top..
Super Ally and Sir Alex. Perfect
I'm a Liverpool supporter and there's no denying that the guy a was an absolutely fantastic manager. The thing that got me about Alex Ferguson was he didn't care what anyone thought about him, absolutely no one.
Without doubt the Greatest British Football manager, doesn't matter what club anyone supports everyone respects Sir Alex for what he's won in England Scotland & in Europe. Look at the state of Man United since his retirement.
How is it without doubt?
Bob Paisley has a good shout, so does Herbert Chapman, even Cloughie.
Isnt watching this, with two absolute legends of the game just a horrid reminder that so much time has passed 😢 i look back and remember as a young man these guys being in their absolute prime. Glad i was there to see it.
What a fantastic interview, Sir Alex was indeed in top form and some great questions from Super too.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What a man. Beyond his obvious amazing career how he has handled his ill health and loss of his wife and retirement has also massively impressed me. His memory is still first class and he looks excellent for his age
I might be biased ive loved Utd since i was 7 & im 49 now.
If we never won anything again i couldn't complain.
None of it possible without Fergie...
I went to his first game for United at Oxford away. We were awful and lost 2-0.
I never had a clue on the journey he would take united and me on following United all over Europe. I thank him so much.
What i love most tho about listening to this man now even at his age, is that his memory is fantastic
Scotland produced some of the best football managers in the game. Struth, Stein, Busby, Shankly, McLean, Dalglish,Graham, Ferguson.
STRUTH?? 😂😂😂😂
Truth won more trophies than any of them ,when there was no european football, forgotten about because he was a long time ,but u can't change history
Smith
@@bluantru72so Struth wasn’t challenged at the highest level with no European football. We’ll never know how good he was then😚
Strachan
Could listen to Sir Alex all day. A United fan for over 40 years, unbelievable memories were down to him. Also a big fan of Ally's work, well done guys 👏🏻
Brilliant! From a Celtic man 🍀
Oh look at me, I’m a Celtic fan and have to get attention for not being bigoted
Only one slight criticism.. it wasn’t long enough. Could’ve listened to them all night! Two proper legends of the game 👏🏼🔥
1:51 he’s spot on there, while all the other pundits were spluttering and wetting their knickers, Lamp’s watched, dissected and explained. Funnily enough the day after all the other pundits must’ve seen it cos suddenly they’re all parroting the fella.
SAF, the greatest football manager ever. EVER.
Brilliant ..2 scottish legends..could have listened to them for hours!
Best manager of all time
I could sit and listen to Sir Alex's stories all day he's a legend
Warms me up watching anything this man does the boss 🏴❤
As an Englishman, these are the two best Scottish humans currently walking the planet.
This might be the best series TNT has ever done. Ally is the most likeable man in footbaĺl by a long mile..
Nope
Could listen to Sir Alex forever. 26mins whizzed by. Lovely conversation
Probably the greatest of all time
Definitely*
@@shahzadirani Maybe
Ancelotti or Ferguson for me. Carlo maybe just nicks it but I’d give no argument about f someone picked Ferguson.
This is a masterpiece. Two top people of the game just having a chin wag. Love it. Sir Alex is the greatest from Britain 1 million percent. No debate. X
"There's only one, there will never be another. History maker". Peter Drury!
Back in time he was fantastic at St Mirren. Built them into a right good team. He was touring the town in a car park with a speaker asking folk to support the club. Never out the paper at schools trying to get support for the club. Maximum effort.
Thanks Ally.Great to reflect on Sir Alex time in football and hear Duncan Edwards mentioned .Brought back a memory for me as a boy on the terraces with my grandfather watching him play against Bournemouth in the FA Cup.
The Greatest Manager Ever! What he did at Aberdeen was magnificent and taking predominantly english players to the promise land.
