For me I am disappointed in him. the problem is that he lied about the reason of his firering from the Ghana national team, and tried to make his teammates look bad, and see him as a hero. He said that the firering was because he defended his teammates about money.. SMH.. like he is the only one who ever did defend his teammate in history.. this guy doesn't try to put logic in his lies.. SMH.. A lot of Capitains have defended their teammates over the years. Kevin Prince Boateng was sent home by the coach, because of the disrespect he showed him in front of the team multiple times. This was reported multiple times before his firering, and It has been confirmed by many of his teammates. You can also see his behavior in some of the matches prio to that . Kevin Prince Boateng behavior was like ghanaians are under his feet that he should be treated like a king, even though he had not proven any thing, or won any thing for Ghana. And Ghana was not his first choice. If he hadn't had the issue with Ballack, I am pretty sure he wouldn't have played for Ghana. He chose Ghana befor the Ballack incident, but tbh if things would go good with Germany he would play for Germany like his brother Jerome. He was to outspoken for Löw .. I dont know how him and the coach appiah relationship was, but as common for african teams they had Problems with the bonuses/money they promised to the players. Cameroon had the same issues 2014 - i guess the corrupt officials take the money for themselves. So dont know why you blame him for that.
@@ishakawde1 yes Ghana was not his first choice. But when he choose Ghana the least he could have done is respect the people and their culture. He can think that because he is from Germany, Ghanaians subhumans and that he is above them. This a general problem with some guys who grow up out side Africa. when the come back to Africa, they disrespect locals treat them sh*t.. Now with KP Boateng, The problem is that he tried to lie and disrespect Ghanaian teammates that the was fighting for them and that is how he got kicked out. And that nobody defended him even though he defended them. That was false. He was not kicked out because he asked about players bonuses, because he was kicked by the coach, secondly he was not the first player to ask that, players have been paid already. So Kevin just knows that it is general problem in Africa, he tries to use that narrative, and lies to hide his problems. If you doubt me, ask Ghanaians who followed the story back then.. moreover some players have already reacted to his interview and denied the allegations.
Never listen podcasts in its entirety, but I did this one for full 1 hour 27 minutes. KP Boateng is a talker and great to hear his experiences and journey.

Such a class interview, loved it. Prince is such an open book, respect to him for being so honest, can see he has a lot of wisdom to spread to other players/people. Thanks guys for delivering this one👏🙏
Amazing interview and beautiful testimony! Thank God for what Prince was able to overcome. As a big Milan fan and a supporter that has watched him play through the years, it is a joy to hear about his spiritual encounter with the Lord Jesus!
What a great interview! I really loved the way Kevin-Prince reflected about his life and career. Also props for him, for talking so honest about his mistakes and problems in his life. That´s so refreshing hearing a celebrity saying things like that. We all got our baggage and make mistakes on our way, why should a professional footballer be any different. All the best to you Mr. Prince and thanks to the boys for the great interview.
in terms of how much fun one has and at the same time being at the absolute peak of a the sport it can easily be argued that dinho was the best. it was joga bonita day in and day out. dinho went so hard with the flow, no one ever reached that level and won something, but he did, because he ( and ofc his teammates) could. also when you hear the stories from barca, party until 4 in the morning, but still loves to have a ball that much that he showed up drunk for training xD thats dinho for me. as a kid i was the same, i just was not as happy as i could be if i had no ball at my feet. if god touched messi left leg he touched dinhos brain.
He came to Milan at 40 years of age and brought us from midtable to scudetto. Zlatan's best quality is making everybody around him better players. Milan fans know who real Zlatan is, shame he is portrayed as egoistic and arrogant in England
What a great interview! Thank you guys and thank you Kevin for coming and sharing your experiences in such an authentic way! It was so inspirational und heartwarming what he had to say and your reactions for it! Hope his motivation can reach us and players to improve ❤
I am a life long AC Milan fan and this man reflected the passion I had for football. I didn't know who he was when he joined but afterwards I was like wow. This man is a legend. Hearing him speak about his career is like seeing a fan speak about their dreams of playing professional football. I wanted him to be at Milan forever and play like the legend I know he is. But that never happened, but still I love him and pray only the best for him.
Outstanding interview, honest and revealing, and KPB comes across as an intelligent, self-aware guy who has learned many lessons in life. More of this, please, Rio!

He’s been one of my favorite players. Not just mentally but the way he tried to express himself with playing football. It’s good to see players from your childhood or a player you grew up with playing a video game etc and see the way they grown to be a more mature person and player. My first experience with Kevin was skill comps in which he scored many iconic goals.
One of the most eye-opening, honest and engaging interview. Every aspect was wonderful. No cutting the other person, no interruptions, asking the right questions, being good listeners, getting insights about various teams, players work rate, work ethics, admirations, unfortunate incidents, racism and how it affects people and what should be done to curb it, inner demons, overcoming one' s inner demons, faith, etc etc. This interview truly changed my perception about Kevin Prince Boateng and every player or person. I will refer to him as Kevin King Boateng😊 God bless you mate....wish you lots of happiness, health and success 🙏

This is what a proper interview is like instead of the mundane press conference and post game interviews.
Never listen podcasts in its entirety, but I did this one for full 1 hour 27 minutes. KP Boateng is a talker and great to hear his experiences and journey.
I watched this interview by 12am.. a friend pleaded with me to watch it because of my love for football.
I'm from Nigeria and I can say it was mixed feelings while watching it. I laughed, cried but at the end it was worth it. God is the greatest still.
Spread love and be kind.
Perfect interview.. Big Rio keep doing this. It's amazing ✌🏾
Kevin Prince- Boateng. After hearing this, my respect for you has gone up the roof
One of the best interviews from an ex player ever. The honesty and behind the scenes stories were amazing.
Indeed maturity comes with age. KPB is a real gem. Great interview. Ghana 🇬🇭 is proud of you bro.
👊🏾
We love him
Messi never miss playing basketball
😂😂😂😂
absolutely loved this interview. really showed us the human side of football and players, a side we never really get to see. thank you Rio
This interview deserves a place in every aspiring footballers manual. KPB was unfiltered and great story teller. 🎉
Such a class interview, loved it. Prince is such an open book, respect to him for being so honest, can see he has a lot of wisdom to spread to other players/people. Thanks guys for delivering this one👏🙏
One of the best interviews this far for FIVE. Kevin Prince is honest and raw. Love it and gives us fans a good insight into football..
Amazing interview and beautiful testimony! Thank God for what Prince was able to overcome. As a big Milan fan and a supporter that has watched him play through the years, it is a joy to hear about his spiritual encounter with the Lord Jesus!
Prince, your straightforwardnesses and honesty is just amazing. I love listening you and one my most favourite interview.
Prince says Ronaldinho is the best to ever touch a ball. Dinho was truly special, super amazing.
I got him 3. It’s tough man it’s tough.
in terms of how much fun one has and at the same time being at the absolute peak of a the sport it can easily be argued that dinho was the best. it was joga bonita day in and day out. dinho went so hard with the flow, no one ever reached that level and won something, but he did, because he ( and ofc his teammates) could.
also when you hear the stories from barca, party until 4 in the morning, but still loves to have a ball that much that he showed up drunk for training xD thats dinho for me. as a kid i was the same, i just was not as happy as i could be if i had no ball at my feet. if god touched messi left leg he touched dinhos brain.
Loved this one man and I love how Prince shared his faith towards the end love you guys more for letting him speak freely
Credit to Ibrahimovic, just noticed he always took on the stubborn players and made them calm and performed in most of the teams he played in.
Ibrah had Pogba playing his best ball at United
@@pedropierre9594 Absolutely, he pushed him in a good way. By setting the example...we lost a Gem in the dressing room.
He came to Milan at 40 years of age and brought us from midtable to scudetto. Zlatan's best quality is making everybody around him better players. Milan fans know who real Zlatan is, shame he is portrayed as egoistic and arrogant in England
@@4thelolzzlegit163It’s because British culture doesn’t promote expression. They like dull athletes. Real ones know Zlatan is a top guy
@@4thelolzzlegit163yh anyone who is confident in their abilities is seen as arrogant. Smh Zlatan is one of my favorite ones
What a great interview! Thank you guys and thank you Kevin for coming and sharing your experiences in such an authentic way! It was so inspirational und heartwarming what he had to say and your reactions for it! Hope his motivation can reach us and players to improve ❤
What an amazing interview. Thank you Prince and team for this masterpiece.
Jesus is King!
This interview is the best I have seen on RUclips!
Big ups to the five team.
Loved watching Prince throughout his career, I’ll thank him for the football. Happy he has found his Grace!!
Outstanding interview, honest and revealing, and KPB comes across as an intelligent, self-aware guy who has learned many lessons in life. More of this, please, Rio!
34:40 The poker story with Ronaldinho is freaking hilarious! I can't blame him i would party with Dinho aswell 😂. Boateng great baller those 2011,2012 seasons were Elite!
It's always the interviews you don't expect to do well that slaps. This is probably one of the best interviews on five
The ending to this podcast is the best ❤ What a life, what a guy.
I will refer to him as Kevin King Boateng😊
God bless you mate....wish you lots of happiness, health and success 🙏
Must say that this completely change my mind of Kevin. What a lad. And to be so honest with everything. Wow.
And I must say this was one of the best interviews ever with a player. Can't leave out the Ronaldiinho story I was crying of laughter overhere in Sweden😂. Keep doing great things KPB.
This one touched deep. Well done lads for this interview. Praise the Lord!
What a great interview.... i Can't remember the last time i finished watching the interview from start to the end ... didn't even notice it was +- 1h:30m
This is the best one to date! Thanks Rio, Steve and Joel for doing this! Kevin Prince Boateng... what a man!
Was für ein Leben und was für ne krasse Karriere!! Legende!!!🙏🙏
Wünsche dir alles gute Kevin! Sehr froh das du dein weg gefunden hast! Respekt und viele Grüße aus Köln!! 👏👏
What an interview, I was a fan of him as player but knowing his character now got mad respect for him he seems like a very good guy with good energy 👏🏽
I love Seedorfs stories…a man of class in a suit daily ..he took his job seriously and represented his club with class
Which story??
Listen to the podcast, is at the beginneng
@@donsandrano1429you’re so lazy.
Prince really is that guy, one of the best interviews I’ve seen with a pro baller, so honest
Man Rio is a great interviewer. Its a blend of genuine curiosity built on the back of a deep knowledge of the intricacies of the footballing career. Great pod
Prince is a legend, showing real strength explaining his story and his redemption really. Great content
I'm 20 mins in, and I can already sense the maturity in this man after all the negative press and lifestyle choices he's had in his life. He's not only a brilliant footballer but seems to be an amazing role model. I believe he's doing his badges, but he'd be good at youth level coaching, I feel. Big up Kev
Jesus made him lovable

This guy is genuinely and astonishingly an exquisite storyteller. Paints the picture so well. I felt like i was there with him, most times! I thoroughly enjoyed that!!❤
The Pirlo story was so good! You can just imagine how Pirlo is, oozes elegance.
Yea he described him as a quarter back😂 pinging the ball about
This interview was absolutely incredible! Thanks so much to all of you for bringing this story to us!!
This has to be the best interview I’ve seen in a long time!
What a man PRINCE!!!👑
I must say this is the best interview I have come across in 2023. More blessings bro, I've learned a lot from your interview ❤
What an interview!1 Being a semi-professional football player who's been chasing the dream for 20+ years and hearing that even the top athletes have the same struggles such as depression, not being selected by the coaches, the football politics etc, it inspires to keep going. Thank you!
Keep pushing fam
What an interview, am watching this midnight and stayed up to finish it. This is the best interview I've listened to and Prince is a great person. I love his spiritual beliefs and growth, indeed Jesus is King
This interview here is one that was genuine and transparent from start to end. With entertaining storytelling ability by Kevin Prince Boateng. Kudos to Joe, Ste, Rio and everyone that help produce this kind of content in this space.
He is such a good storyteller
Prince, what a guy. He was my hero while playing at ac Milan. We all want to see you shine and win my man!!!!!!
The stories about Messi are crazy. Without a doubt the best player we have ever seen
Messi is GOD
Cr7 is the only human to challenge a GOD

One of the forgotten legends who played with and against most of this generations favourite players - The Prince!
Best interview I've seen in so long. And the final segment topped it off. Jesus is king 🤴 The beginning, the last. The alpha and the omega

Really love this guy.. It's like me talking to my friends...Huge respect for this man KPB
Only intended to watch the lil snippet when he talks about Messi but ended up watching the whole thing. Excellent story telling skills from Boateng.
Gotta love Prince being so open with everything. Another great episode
One of the best interviews I ever seen on RUclips. Prince is an absolute FORCE. The questions and always asking for elaboration to answers was excellent. Love the vibe between the three Donnies as well. Looking forward to many more !!
