Bed of chaos is one of the easiest for me after knowing that I just need to crash both orange doom and then go under it and voolaaa its victory

it's not that bad if you're just doing a normal run because of the progress saving when you die
Accidentally beat Ornstein and Smough first time. Think I just got lucky with timing and of course the "Thank You Dark Souls" mechanics
I think everyone has that with DS, that one moment that you just cruise through and only find out afterwards everyone else struggles with, like those people who got past the anor londo archers without dying once. Everyone gets one
Well not just that, but in Dark Souls Remastered, Ornstein and Smough are an easy first try. But on New game plus, they are a pain in the ass and took me a couple of hours
Same thing happened to me, but with Nito. I was playing as a paladin with the Astora straight sword, and had no idea at the time that it was a holy weapon.
I think gwyn is the hardest, as long as you dont parry
Gywns just got an annoying run back, and he doesn't let you heal
His only difficult attacks is his thrusting attack and the fast slash
I beat his ass. Humanoid enemies are way easier than big monsters
Idk I never parry him but he never feels very difficult, but I’m playing a ng+ run and even with giant armor +5 a lot of the bosses can 2 shot you. Just beat ornstein and smough and I really don’t know if I could’ve done it without sun bro

Gwyn was hard for me since i wasn't good with sheild parrying. 2 Gargoyles in the beginning were super difficult with how slow they were that i had to level up forever until i can wield the Black Knight Halberd to defeat them
Ornstein and Smough at NG+5-6 (can't remember) made me stop trying for a higher NG+ lol.
The 4 Kings & Kalameet also become a huge pain in the azz on New Game +++ & higher.

Funny enough I didn't have any issues with O&S and beat them on the 2nd try. Gwyn was a nightmare for me though, took me like 20 tries to kill him 😢

Imma be real dk1 was the easiest dk game for me since I didnt struggle with any boss tbh but god I hate the tomb of giants since I died and lost many souls in there and the only boss that gave me a little trouble was gwyenavire of the darkmoon since he just kept teleporting but it was very fun game to play much more fun than dk2 which is my least favorite fromsoft soulslike game

Haven’t played DS1 but aesthetically they remind me of the Godskin duo fight in Farum Azula
Godskin was an attempt to recreate the masterpiece that was the ornstein and smough fight, but they fucked up and made both enemies to aggressive in elden ring

ceaseless discharge for me personally. hardest part of the fight was looking at my damn screen for long periods. the lava used to give me headaches. that area alone kept me from replaying the game, and the area leading to the bed of chaos
Fully agree with you, still haven’t beaten ceaseless discharge to this day( i haven’t played the game at all)
The boss can be killed in 5 punches, so if you kill him that way is the easiest boss in the series.

trying to cut off kalameet's tail took me longer than any other boss, seriously fuck that shit you can only do it when he does one specific move so you're just afk baiting his attacks the entire time
O&S, next challenge for me, consuming all estus before battle

My cousin, who was a professional DS player at only 13, is absolutely insane in the ornstein and smough fight, i watched him speedrun the entire game up until them and then he kilked them both as a lvl like 10
Never cook again O&S is difficult yes but Bed of Chaos Exists, Gwyn Exists, Capra Demon Exists, Centipede Demon Exists, and Ceaseless Discharge Exists

If you learn the patern all are easy, but try to find the girl while she bleeds you to death, or enjoy insta stab and aoe death fire from kalameet
Ornstein and smough are just famous, its like saying sacroderm duo is one of the hardest bosses, its just they overlwelm you being 2, but keep your distance and they wont gang you.
I defeated Kalameet on New Game +++ last night. Might be my best accomplishment in gaming. A great method for Priscilla. Is to use the Miracle Vow Of Silence. Before you even hit her. It won't effect her, but you will see her outline when she turns invisible.👍 Or you can cheese her with Dung Pies. Lol. Just throw a few of them at her. She won't agro at all. And will die from toxic in a couple minutes.

Beat them both first try, just kept my distance to bait the lunge from sword guy and ran past to damage hammer guy until he died then just did the usual hit and roll. I thought it was a boring fight lol
On my first try . I went to 2nd phase and nearly killed smough he was on 1hp and i was on 1hp but he attacked first and i died. Then i beat them on my 4th try.
Kalameet was hardest for me

He is quite tricky but if u have good shield and high HP everything is good

It took me 3 tries,I can't believe it because it literally felt TOO ez by the time I actually brought ds1(started on elden ring)
This fight used to be hard for me, but after I've learned how to properly upgrade my weapons in DS1 and after killing Old Dragonslayer like 100x in DS2 hitless, this fight got like 10x easier. Ornstein has a hard time hitting me and Smough is simple to avoid.

I beat them first try in my first run. I had a weapon chaos at base, was I overlevel?(lv.34 all points to vitality and stamina) I am finding all ds1 bosses easy and I don’t know if it’s a trouble of level or that I am accustomed to souls games because I have 400 hours on DS3 and 200 hours on Sekiro, around 250 hours on Elden Ring(I still have to finish it)

It took me 167 hours to beat ornsteon and smough. It was my first souls game and ive now beaten them all and it is by far the hardest boss ive ever fought but god is it goated

Ornstein and smough is the best boss in the first game imo, and is an amazing designed fight for an era. However, the age shows, and some of the difficulty comes from a little bit of bullshit. While being the best boss of the first game, I would say that it doesnt even crack my top 20 favorites in the series
i agree with that, i just beat them a few days ago and to me didnt like the fight, but dont get me wrong the fight was good but i think ornstein ai and smough power hammer move kill the fight for me but if they ever remake it then itd be an even more amazing fight

I think you'll find Artorias wayyy easier after 2-3 Playthroughs. But even after 7-8 playthroughs, I still die to OnS couple of times. Second hardest would be Manus or Four Kings if you don't have high vitality.

I played dark souls 1 it the first time in the remastered, with this I say that I played it after DS3, Bloodborne and DS2. Ornstein and smough seemed to me one of the easiest bosses of the saga.

Sure, i mean it was first boss that hard check your souls skill (literally gatekeeper). No spamm, no excesive dodge, use enviroment, and aware of enemy pattern. They dont have heal so you have to patiance while keep chip their health which probably boring for player who new to soul game, especially one who expect souls is hack&slash wamy spammy
