Fun fact: this is actually how Miyazaki wanted to do the game. He had to be pinned down by 4 dudes to forcefeed him his meds. He was so mad, he made the 4 lords after the guys who pinned him down, and he decided not to direct DS2 out if spite.

@@elali64 It’s cool in theory. It’s got some pretty scenery. But that’s about it. The only enemies unique to the area are Chaos Eaters and the Dragon Statues. It’s super unfinished, the enemies are repetitive and pretty basic, and the end boss is widely thought of as the worst boss in the series. The issue is that it’s a large area with sections that feel like they’re just there to add filler, mazes, lava pits, huge swaths of tanky or boring enemies, and in some cases, huge swaths of tanky AND boring enemies. It lacks the variety and polish of the other sections. I do love the invasions that happen here, but other than that it doesn’t really offer anything and stands out compared to the rest of the areas. Although 99% of what I just said is completely my opinion, and I totally respect your opinion. I’m glad that there are people who enjoy that part, I just wish I and a lot of other people could’ve enjoyed it too, you know?

My favorite thing about this video, is just how pissed Orientstien and Smough seem. They aggro immediately and just charge at you. They want your blood and nothing is gonna stop them.

I find it really interesting how O and S' armour is more silver than golden, which is pretty unexpected until you realize how much sunlight is in Anor Londo. If they were actually wearing gold it would probably have ended up being far too bright.
Now I want to see if there's a way to trigger dark anor londo early and then fight o&s with it like that

@@LilacMonarch Only a year late, did it all the time on PS3 with a save that unlocked all bonfires as warps from the start. Warp to Chamber of the Princess and kill her, then go back and enter as normal. All of Anor Londo will be dark, with the regular enemies and boss fight still there.
You can really tell if you buy either of their sets

I can’t believe they’re simultaneously so deadly and so bad at traversing the game world, stuck on the terrain all the time, and still wrecking your shit with perfect comedic timing
They were designed and tested to move -without an issue- *well enough* in their rectangle arena with occasional collums.
Complicated terrain is really fish out of water situation.

I feel like every basic enemy should’ve just been normal ornstien or smough, but every boss should’ve been super ornstien/smough
I kinda like the randomness. You end up with pathetic bosses that are just a single regular ornstein or smough while the areas with basic enemies are an army of supers

I think the 4 Kings became the 2 Smough's is due to Smough's hp. He has like 4200 or so while each individual king a lot less. But it seems the shared health pool of the 4 Kings still exists so killing one smough depletes much more of the health bar.
Yeah, and the king spawns are based on time and not damage. We only got to see two because he was doing damage too fast

Four hours just to kill the gargoyles sounds like my first Playthru when I had no idea what was going on this is an incredible challenge man bravo
It took me 6 hours and 40 minutes of playtime before I finally fought Gargoyles for the first time. I died. Then I got some humanity, became human, and summoned good old Sunbro Solaire. And then I got a whole 750 souls for my efforts and am being forced to deal with Blighttown because I have the master key. I'm a mage with a +1 Zweihander, I needed those 10k souls from Gargoyles, and instead I got 750.
This is why I should've asked to borrow the Remastered version and not the original ps3 version. Fml.

I'm amazed he didn't think to get some armor with poise to ignore some of the stagger while running through all of that. Or even iron flesh.
I like how he went to izalith before the graveyard but didn't stop to grab a sunlight maggot then complained about having to hold a lantern
You should have made every enemy Ornstein AND Smough, resulting in twice as many enemies. Bonus points for making them link up so that the super mode activation happens only to the bosses associated with the same enemy.
Originally, Dark Souls was suppose to be all Bed of Chaos, but since the entire From Software crew bribed him with feet pictures, especially 4 dudes. This lead to Dark Souls' four Lord Souls and the Four Kings.
This somehow seems worse than every enemy being Gwyn
Because he gets one shotted anyway, even if orstein / smough is weaker than Gwyn and it's not gonna be a fair fight

I love how the boss fights are the easiest part of this run

The all Gwyn run gave me a headache due to all the _incandescent_ nuclear fusion Gwyns naturally exude. This, however, is watchable.
Love horror books as well. Pet Semetary is great on audible. It's read by Michael C. Hall, who plays Dexter. His voice is perfect for it, highly recommend it.

Yo this is so funny. I’m on my first play through of this game, currently stuck in the spider-boss in Blight town. This game is so brutally hard that I get thought anyone would be psychotic enough to do challenge runs like this. Then I discovered this channel 😂
