Fr, most of my favorite voice actors have a funny knack of making unintentional (or sometimes intentional) facial expressions, too! I think Jim Cummings does it with goofy. There was a movie called the Banana Splits and the voice actor for the animatronics talks about how he voiced an intentional Goofy knock off in the movie and that making certain expressions helps a lot XD
my favorite part about this is that HE’S THE DIRECTOR. he has directed all these classic/iconic movies (ratatouille, both incredibles, the road to el dorado, jurassic world, the iron giant, etc.) and then here plays this incredibly iconic character but most people wouldn’t know any of it. He didn't direct Jurassic World. That was Colin Trevorrow. He was supposed to write and direct Rise of Skywalker but was fired because of his terrible film Book of Henry that came out after Jurassic World.

I was in college when the Incredibles was released, and I thought Edna was a gay man. I watched the movie multiple times, and I knew the character’s name - but I thought it was an edgy fashion thing. I didn’t realize that she was a woman until I saw the second movie.
Now that I know her voice actor is a man, I feel validated!
