I came to the comments after him, knowing that there would be a comment about him. I don't know much about him as a person, but even with my love of Batman set aside, his voice is amongst my favourite character voices ever. He did such a great job

The OG Makarov at 22:33 gave me chills knowing he still has that voice, the energy of Makarov eversince 12 years ago.

I wonder why he didn't reprise, such a unique and menacing voice that was perfect for the character.

@@BurritoKilla Same reason they didn't bring the Woods VA back even though the character was and the Woods VA was completely willing to reprise his role. Activistsion doesn't really care about the retention of talent. Which sucks bc that also means new characters like Adler and Vargas are likely just going to be one and done characters in the series.

Fun fact: While Craig Fairbrass also voiced Ghost, the line "I like to keep this for close encounters" was actually spoken by Gaz in CoD4. In fact, people often mistake many of Gaz's iconic lines as coming from Ghost, such as "let's do this," simply because he's the more iconic of the two to be voiced by Craig.
He was great in One Piece!
He also voiced Sergeant Wallcroft! Him and Gaz even share the exact same model in Crew Expandable.
During covid, cameos really made these voice actors days. And made my days too. Gotta love and appreciate every one of them

This is freaking awesome and super underrated.
In my head I think so much editing and fine tuning goes into some of these voices, but they all just get it spot on. It's uncanny to see some of these pretty women do such creepy voices too, so cool.

It’s so cool that these guys are getting the recognition they deserve but it was James McCaffrey that lay the foundation of voice acting in video games. Those narration’s literally sent chills when I first heard them. I hope we get more recognition for him when the remakes come out. Given they still make them.

I had a pleasure of meeting Nolan North at a local comic con last year, absolute gent and was highlight of the show for me, got him to sign my OG Assassins Creed sleeve but in mid conversation he bursts out in voice character as Richtofen, man I’m telling you hearing videogame characters come to life right infront of you is truly special
