Should I watch the rest of the Monster Inc series? I think its like two more. But im not sure.
Also did you drink water today? #bingers
One more movie and a tv series
Actually, it's only one movie and a TV show.
The TV show kinda trash and not worth watching. The sequel is decent and I think you’d like it
@@CreeperBoyGamingyt I liked the show.
7:28 there’s the baby daughter! 💕
The one thing I do wanna point out is that Mary Gibbs, the voice actress for Boo, can barely stay in the recording booth for longer than an hour. So Pixar just followed her with a microphone on her so that we can hear her laughs, cries, and vocalizations.
awwww
Could. Could barely stay. 😂
She also couldn't read the lines. ❤
@@PizzaHutCEO Thank you. It happens to me every time I type something.
So that’s how little kids be actors like this
Fun Fact: Technically, sounds can create electricity. So by laughing and screaming, the monsters are collecting the sound waves from that and using it to make energy.
And tectonically they can also scream themselves.
@@VJETRA Monsters scream and yell pleanty of times in the movie, but none of the technology ever reacts, yet all Boo has to do is scream or laugh too loud and she causes blackouts. Clearly there's something in human screams that monster screams can't produce... or we're not supossed to think about it.
And clearly we all overthink children's movies. Sound is a form of energy, let's leave it at that. 😂
@@anib8863 , im just bringing out the technicality as him.
@@VJETRA probably from his universe the sound waves work differently and his own screams are not compatible in the generation of energy.
Awesome, Dear Boy: Billy Crystal accepted the role of Mike Wazowski because he felt bad for turning down the role of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. *He has since stated on multiple occasions that playing Mike is the single greatest joy of his career.*
This sounds bad but I'm glad he turned down Toy Story because without that we would not have the Mike Wazowski we have today .
@@aubreebaker9282 Same. I just can't imagine Billy Crystal as Buzz. Not that I doubt his abilities but I'm very happy we got Mike instead.
@@Nurk0m0rath Absolutely . I think it's because we're so used to hearing billy's voice and visualizing mike that it's odd to think of someone else voicing the character . I also would say the same for buzz lightyear . If someone else voiced Toy Buzz Lightyear it would be weird . i think the childhood we all remember would be crushed. - sorry for the rant. This is my favorite cartoon movie .
So much so that on his imprint at Graumins Chinese Theater in Hollywood, right no r to his name and footprint is MIKE W and mikes feet.
Pixar keeps bringing back John Ratzenberger, so I don't know about that.
I love the message they gave with how companies and manufacturers are. The way they portrayed clean energy vs dirty energy. They do it so well, with the kids screaming/crying and then how laughter is even more powerful. How easy it would have been to do some simple tests with some effort and they could have the clean energy. But the reason they said kids were "toxic" is for the public to be okay with the "torture". They lied so they can continue to use that dirty energy.
I Think It’s More Literal Than It Seems
The prequel gets a lot of hate but i think its a load of fun and worth checking out next
I actually really like it! I thought it’s equally awesome as the first movie
I actually prefer it over the original! I identify with it more and love the world building. I think people are too loyal to the original movie and refuse anything that doesn’t follow after the storyline.
@@tlahmed i agree tbh i was never particularly fond of the original when i was a kid. Ive grown to like it more but ive always had a lot more fun with the second.
It’s really good and now it feel’s nostalgic
I actually prefer it to the original lol
““Disney stop playing with ma haaaurt. With my haaaurt, hahahahaaaauuurt” 🎶 😂
I AGREE! We were robbed! I wanted to see how excited Boo was when she finally saw “Kitty” again! Especially since we don’t know how much time has passed since she was returned.
I always thought it was maybe 1 or 2 years. So if she's probably 2 in the film, she's probably 4 or at most 5 by the end.
Monsters, Inc. is definitely my absolute favorite film from my childhood and it’s the one Pixar film I rewatch the most. It's funny, heartwarming, has such likable characters, and great voice acting. Pete Docter (Director of this film) would later go on to direct Up, Inside Out, and Soul, all of which are amazing and has an enormous amount of heart.
Love it when Billy brings out his dad side, it's the most wholesome thing ever. It never fails, the moment there's kids on screen he turns into a papa bear and it's just the best. Would really love to how he reacts to Wendell and Wild #Bingers
Billy toddlers are magic. Also, the voice of boo is actually voiced by someone’s daughter, who worked on the movie, they followed her around with a tape recorder.
Mary Gibbs. The thing that upsets me is that Monsters at Work is *not* gonna have boo in the series, even though the last episode of season 1 is mixed with the ending of the movie!
This film is literally my CHILDHOOD! I would watch this religiously until I memorized the script, and to this day I still know it. Also, YOUR REACTIONS WERE SO GOOD!! Tis moving always makes me laugh, but I was about to choke on my own spit laughing with your reactions ontop of it. I'm so happy you finally watched this movie, it's truly a gem. :)
I was the same! I watched this religiously at my grandmas house 😂
Me too! I was saying parts of the script that weren't in the video to my partner while I was watching it. 😂😂😂
Same
It was so so sweet seeing you react to this through the lens of being a dad, and finding Boo and her father-daughter bond with Sully so adorable! Glad you enjoyed such a classic, though not surprised as it's one of the best 😊❤
Loved watching Billy's "Dad Mode" come out in this reaction. The way he responded to all of Boo's little cue's and needs was extremely heartwarming.
Billy, PLEASE react to the Pixar Theory when you're done watching all the Pixar movies.
I hated seeing boo cry when she saw sully do his scream 🥺🥺
Same
Fun fact Boo's real name is Mary. you can see her name but you have to be quick to see it. it's when she's in Sullys bed and it's on the drawing before the one of Randall
I am CRYING!!! This was one of my favorite movies as a child and Billy Binges reacting to it has now upped my love for him to 1000%
The Latin Spanish dub is filled with memes. Ranging from cuidadito to 3312 instead of 2319 to the Argentine monster to pejelagarto, this film had me cracking up as a kid. I wish we could convert our laughter into sustainable energy for our planet.
I laughed way too much at:
-Mama se metió otro pejelagarto
-OTRO PEJELAGARTO?!! dame la pala, ven acá
Followed by the worst beating he ever got in his life😂
yes!!!! the budding in latin spanish es la mejor!!!
AMÁ!! Se metió otro PEJELAGARTO!!!
Un niño flotó sobre mí y voló un auto con su RASHO LÁSER.
JAJAJAJA lo mejor.
No hiciste tu papeleo anocheeeee!
16:34 actually there’s a theory that most of the Pixar movies are in the same universe and that she is a super who has the ability to partially teleport.
I can see that!!
@@BillyBinges speaking of I recommend you watch Incredibles next.
So the theory is that bo is violet from the Incredibles but as baby like you know how to say that all Disney movies are connected well, these two movies might be connected also, Violet can turn invisible so I think that’s how bo disappears in areas and reappears in other areas Also, may be the reason why bo’s parents never heard her screaming was maybe because they were out superheroing
If you didn't see Monsters University, then you have to check it out because it's an amazing movie and I love it. Also, I drank my water today :)
Don’t understand the hate for it i think its great too
It has its flaws but it’s one of my favorites, and the lesson behind it is really solid imo
I love this movie and when Sully had to let Boo go, I teared up. She was definitely older when he went through her door after Mike found the pieces.
I soooo miss movies like this that were just pure class and have jokes that grow up with you - I mean who uses jazz in an intro anymore??? And when Mike says "those were alphabetised", my brother and I didn't understand that until we were older and its absolutely hysterical😂
I miss the really old children’s movie intros. They are hand painted and tell a story in themselves as the pictures change (ie. The rescuers). I hated how long they were as a kid but now that I’m older I appreciate how much time was put into them and the art is stunning
And the point is about the writing of these films is that they were tailoring to the adults just as much as the kids. My dad tells me how many movies my brother and I made him sit thru but he always says this was one of the few that he would gladly watch in his own time. The Incredibles was another that we all still love for its style and jokes
LMAOOOOO I have OCD, I understood it from the start and I was literally screaming at the kid
Did anyone else have nightmares of Randel the lizard 🙁🙁 I was hiding from him in a abandoned parking lot
Was The 1ncest Joke Pure Class As Well?
All of Disney packaging with Mike on it also puts price stickers on his face for the joke.
The original punchline to the gag of Harryhausen's getting "decontaminated" had the CDA blowing it up with explosives. A mere 60 days before the film's release: 9/11 happened & *it was hastily changed to the restaurant getting put under a force-field.* The original scene can be found on the Blu-Ray features.
😯
TBH the explosion would have been way funnier
Boo is roughly 18/24 months old
The goodbye scene between Boo and Sully will always make grown men(including me)cry!!!
there is a theory in the pixar world that most people believe is that Boo could be violet from The Incredibles as a young girl. I don't know if it confirms but that can be the reason why she can go from one place to another, could be using her powers at a young age lol
OMG, so excited for this one! #Bingers Please also consider doing the Kung Fu Panda trilogy. Ta. 🧡
Yes, please do kung fu panda it is one of the best DreamWorks franchise.
There is a theory that Boo is the witch from Pixar’s Brave. She grew up trying to look for Sully which is why the witch from Brave crafts Bears because in her mind Sully is or looks like a Bear.
Disney Pixar, brave, but you’re right
Boo is so freaking cute! I wish Disney would let Pixar be great and let them do good movies so we could see her and Sully/Mike together once more. But if they made a current sequel, I wouldn't trust it 😢 glad we have the past.
"I don't care if the intro credits are this long-"
Honeslty, I love fancy credits! And as much as I love closing credits, I also kinda miss opening credits. And Monster's Inc was one of my favorites.
Fun fact: they added the opening credits so the opening felt less omninous and horror movie esc.
this movie came out when i was a kid and i used to watch it religiously cuz I had it on dvd. But now that im an adult and rewatched it, i absolutely love the sully and boo relationship. Which is why i watch it a lot now. Also as a kid i used to think mr water noose coffee was appetizing.
Cylia or Celia(however you spell it) is voice by Jennifer Tilly
There’s a theory that Boo is the young Violet Parr from the Incredibles franchise because how good she’s at hide and seek (Violet’s power is mainly invisible).
I don’t know if Boo has an official age but my guess would be around 18months. Walking with confidence, able to understand basic instructions, has a good selection of words but still babbles
She is no more than two years old
This guy is a scammer don't listen to him
@@DLR1997so… 18 months
Fun facts: Boo's real name is Mary and you can see it on some of her drawings. She is also the same age as Bonnie from Toy Story 3 and 4 and is in the same class at school!
"If you wanna go out there and freeze to death, you be my guest." To be fair, Sully looks like he's built for extreme cold.
This movie is a classic! Glad you did a commentary to it!
#Bingers The Cheetah Girls Trilogy, The Incredibles, Bride Wars, Couples Retreat, Date Night, Letters to Juliet
@@JuviaLockser12 omg yes bride wars!!!!
Randy Newman truly is such a wonderful composer. The Monster's Inc Intro is forever iconic
I'm glad you gave yourself the opportunity to see this heart-warming, yet funny movie. That little girl Boo is a character to remember. I wanted to pick her up in a hug.
13:00 lol now why that sound like something youve said before? You’re kid break something expensive like a tv as well?
Loved the reaction. Hope you do the sequel its very well done.
That last song during the credits was John Goodman and Billy Crystal singing 😊
Another classic Disney film. I remember watching this movie as a kid and being traumatized when they used the suction thing. I forget what it was called.
Some other movies you should watch are Dragonheart 1-5, Lion King 1 and 2, and Delhi Safari.
I love that ending Billy. We don't have to see them reunite onscreen because him hearing her voice is more than enough all on its own. Also, I did see this movie when I was ten and it came out and rewatching it like five years ago, it's still a great effing movie.
I didn't like kids either. Never wanted any. Had my son, and at first it was hard for me to cope with being a single mom, then his sweet little soul became my sunshine, my heart, my world. Now kids just make me smile 😊
Lol "I'd have preferred if they were kidnapping kids" hell of a start.
monster inc means alot to me. I think it would be in my number two spot of movies ! when I was little i had a sully teddy that i took to the hospital and one of the nurses put the name tag on him too. all these years later he still has it on him ! definitely continue the monster inc series :)
Yep, you did give us good job advice. 👏 Also, Mons. Univ. does a great job explaining through whole kid fear. The backstory of how the monsters started working together. 💪 Best part is how some people thing Boo is the witch from Brave. Also, the monster saying a kid flew and blew up a car, their is a theory that it was Jack Jack from the Incredibles.
My son loved this movie when he was 3 years old. Like, he was obsessed!
My FIL bought him a Sully doll that, if you squeeze his tummy, says lines from the film. However, it also makes facial expressions too, which is creepy AF. The first time that my son saw it, he freaked out and was so scared that you could clearly see his heart pounding in his chest! My FIL felt so bad! I wound up finding a non-talking Sully and Mike, but I kept the other one, because it was a gift and I thought that it was cool.
Well, my son is now 11 and can just finally allow it to be in his room. He will let it say its lines, but only if he squeezes it, no exceptions.
I always knew you were a dad but watching you go full Dad Mode in this video was so endearing.
The monsters live in an alternate dimension. That's why Boo's parents aren't there.
Love that you did this movie. It was my absolute favorite to watch at my grandmas house along with the incredibles, finding Nemo, and so many more. It also took me SO MANY years to realize that the snow cones weren’t lemon flavored 🤣
Back in my day this was on a blue VHS tape 💙💙 love you Billy 💞 thank you for getting us all thru the day!
Do you remember the orange Nickelodeon tapes?
@@ericjohnson6120 yes i have the Rugrats movie still 😂
You also need to watch
Galaxy Quest, The Waterboy, Inspector Gadget, Edward Scissorhands, The Iron Giant, Anastasia, Robots, Rat Race, Good Burger, Tooth Fairy, Speed Racer, Get Smart, The Spy Next Door, The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, Elvis, Lightyear, & Disney’s The Kid,
Their reaction trying to not let her touch them in the beginning is how I used to act when friends would tell me they were pregnant... like stay all the hell away from me!!
Hey Billy! Some movie recommendations are; The greatest showman (musical) ,
missing (2023, thriller),
Mulan 2, (animated musical)
orphan and orphan first kill ( horror, thriller)
Big hero 6 ( animated action superhero movie)
Btw I love your videos
When the monsters go through the door, they’re basically going through different time periods. It would be incredibly hard for the parents to track her or even find her at all. Then, when Randall sent the door back, he turned off the power, so it turned back into a regular closet. Her parents would not have been able to find her either way. Then I’m pretty sure time for her world slows down or stops. Because every time they open, the door is open to a dark bedroom that has no change to it.
You seem confused in the beginning. It’s common for children to be afraid of monsters in their closets/under their beds. This movie explains why the monsters are there. The parents obviously do come when the kids scream, but the monsters are gone by then. They open their closets and show them that nothing is in there, and put the kids back to sleep.
All the feels for boo ❤❤❤ my son was born in the middle of October and when he was a newborn I dressed him up as sully and my daughter up as boo since they are less than 2 years apart ❤😇
Hey Billy! Have you heard of the Pixar Theory? It's a huge hypothesis that links all the Pixar movies together as if they're in the same timeline. The Super Carlin Brothers have a great introductory video on it and add to it as new movies came out! I HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you wanna hear more about Boo (she has a pretty large role in it 😊😊)
I don't know if you have seen the theories, but the child the monsters mention on tv, make references to a character from another pixar movie rather than boo.
FYI for all those who enjoy older movies with incredible monsters…the restaurant Mike and Celia are at on their date is called “Harryhausen’s”. In real life Ray Harryhausen invented a form of stop motion model animation known as Dynamation. It was used in movies like “20 Million Miles to Earth” , “Jason and the Argonauts”, “Mighty Joe Young”, “The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad” along with many others. For me some of the BEST movie monsters ever thought of. Checkout these oldies for some fun! Cheers
My favorit bit is when he says "see no monsters in the closet" then walks in and then says "well now there is"
I loved this movie when i was little and still do one of my favorites I've watched it many times by myself and with my mom i loved boo and sully moments are so cute and heartwarming also my one of my favorite scenes is boo defeating Randall it made me laugh so much she got em good
Im not sure if this was done intentionally or not but the monster that got interviewed, talking about the baby with laser eyes, its Jack-Jack from Incredibles. The lil baby can traverse dimensions aswell, lil homie is stacked.
I hope you are doing better. If not, get some organic ground turmeric and ground ginger. Put it in your tea with honey. Not sugar. Keep drinking that for days. It will help kill any bacteria or infection.
This, the incredibles, finding Nemo and life bug are absolute classics! I watched so many times growing up!!
Man Billy’s probably expanding his healing time by making these videos he’s a real trooper for us 🫡🫡🫡
20:49 poor boo she got scared
Dude! The bloopers after the credits are GOLD!
12:38 Fun Fact, they originaly showed that restaurant being BLOWN UP. You can find this version online
ruclips.net/video/83IQnuXZ0vk/видео.html
16:35 there's a theory out there saying she could be Violet from The Incredibles, sounds highly likely considering how easily she got out of sight of Mike and Sully without them knowing 🤔
I watched this so much with my niece when she was little. She's 23 now & I still call her Boo ❤
16:22 actually yes. Boo is a sorcerer. I think you already watched Brave. You gotta take a look at it again🫣look for the Easter eggs.
There is another movie 🍿 called monster's university it is great. 2319 represents WS (W the 23rd letter, and S the 19th letter), which stands for "White Sock". Boo is 2!
Wahoo! I get to talk about the CDA code:
2319 is actually more clever than you think.
The 23rd letter of the alphabet is W, and the 19th is S.
Together, the code is code WS.
What is the most common thing that gets brought back into the monster world? A white sock.
2319 is code for white sock.
Just a theory, you say? Then let me offer up the other one that gets overlooked, from the CDA restaurant scene:
7835 = GHCE = Girl human child escaped
Still not convinced? Here's the ones found in Monsters at Work:
1320 = MT = Monster trapped
418 = DR = Damaged room
42216 = DVP = Door Vault paperwork
1994 = SID = Shut it down
When I was a little children, I had a blanket once that was knitted so it's had holes all in it by design. I tried to hide under it when I woke up seeing ghosts floating in my room passing through the walls but I could still see them😭 all wearing hats and one of them driving a yellow jeep lol. I was so scared and that dang blanket didn't save me at all, I just eventually had to sneak out from under my cover and ran outta my room to my parents room. I was in like kindergarten 😂
The childhood movie that inspired my nickname (“Boo”) that my parents only call me. 😊 I think I watched this movie daily for almost a year. So happy for this reaction! Monsters university next!!!
I have the same nickname! For my fourth birthday my parents made a cake that had Boo on it (except with my hair and eye color) and I actually have a jacket with Boo monogrammed onto it!
This is one of my favorite Pixar movies of all time. It's very emotional, has hilarious moments and crazy actions. Mary Gibbs as Boo was so adorable and very clever
💗💗💗🤣🤣🤣
How do I start my day? BREAKFAST. I wake up in the morning and my stomach is growling up a storm. I know there are some people who can't eat breakfast, who don't like to eat breakfast or just don't need it. I do. If I don't have breakfast, I'm sluggish the whole day until lunch time. My breakfast with my morning coffee (decaf) is how I really feel awake.
12:45-12:47 There’s a theory that the monsters on the news were talking about Jack Jack from during the Incredibles 2 when he was in different dimensions during the cookie scene
Billy: I got no soft spot for you adults and teens. Also Billy: I love ya all. I hope you're drinking your water. 🤣
Billy Crystal also voices a character in Howl's Moving Castle (2004) 🏰🔥
This was my favorite movie growing up. I would call my dad “kitty” and he called me “boo”
I love the way Billy lights up when he talks about his little girl; you can tell she's his world.
lol The parents are sleep. That is why they never really show the parents, because the monsters are scaring the children and leaving right after before the parents come, which is always in the middle of the night. This is all through the monsters side of the story so they never see the parents.
I agree on your bit about learning other people's jobs helping with promotions. I entered the running for a higher position and the only reason I didn't get it was a lack of experience with other jobs in the factory. I'm in the process of learning what each line does so the next time around I can stand a much better chance.
3:02 16:39 ABSOLUTELY FOUL😭😭😭 Mike didn't deserve this
I always love your reactions, but it was fascinating to watch this through the lens of the father of a little girl. I haven't really watched this since I was a kid (older than Boo, but a kid), and it always surprises me how good these Pixar movies are, even as an adult!
Did you know that 2319 is code for W.S. (White Sock). W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet and S is the 19th. Hence 2319! 😊
If you like jazz, have you seen Soul? It's a Disney/Pixar movie and the main character is a jazz musician. If you have seen it I hope you enjoyed it 😊
16:42 Funny that you said that. Because in The Pixar Theory, it is believed that boo is the witch from Brave.
fun fact : 23 -19 is W.S. in the alphabet which means they were numerically identifying the white sock on his back.
Fun fact that big forcefield that appears on the restaurant was originally going to be an explosion which is why the duffle looks burned but they had to change it
Boo’s actual name is the name of her voice actor
Mike is a real one. He knew how depressed Sully was and did him that big favor.
I think my favorite theory is that boo is a young violet parr fro, the incredibles. It makes sense that she could be “invisible” at certain points.
I was the same as you growing up. I never cared for kids much nor did I think they were cute up until I had my daughter. NOW, I'm a huge softie for kids and absolutely melt anytime I see a baby in public. Funny how much becoming a parent changes you😅👌
Waiiitttttt 😭😭😭😭😭 Did you watch the bloopers??? I was looking forward to you reacting to those 😭
I’ve been waiting for this one!! I’m ready to laugh (which is fitting for this movie considering what happens at the end lol) I totally get the horror thing. There were a couple parts that traumatized me as a kid… like that suction part OMG😱😆
Billy: Where is her parents?
Everyone: Getting it in, Billy!
