Fun fact Nick wears sunglasses because foxes in general are nocturnal. So being out in the daylight would initially hurt his eyes more than the average animal living in Zootopia.
Also there was a scrap idea of predators wearing these certain collars. These would zap the predator if they got too excited (or any high emotion that would make them have predatory urges if you will.) And in a deleted scene of the scrap idea Nick made a club where these predators could take them off for a little time. The club was in a warehouse. We see this warehouse in the background when Judy finds where Nick was hiding.

And here's a fun fact: The movie was originally gonna feature shock collars for predators, with special mention to a deleted scene showing something called a "Taming Party".
Imagine a birthday party where a 5ish year old kid receives their very own shock collar as a mandatory gift from their parent, with stars in the kid's eyes. But then if the kid gets a bit too excited they get shocked, resulting in said kid looking at their parent with confusion and fear.
Yeah, this movie was gonna be a lot darker initially.
The art that was done for it was really dark. Like an older Nick getting his muzzle off and the way the prey around him reacting. I kinda wish they went the darker route wouldve made for an epic movie

i really hope if/when we get a sequel it either focuses on or deals a bit with interspecies couples (which of course would be a reference to irl couples that experience bigotry; interracial, queer, etc), that would be cool. and of course, it would potentially give us canon nick and judy 😊

I personally view the 'love' thing more so as best friends. Same idea with my friend who I call brother now. I tell him I love him, but it is a sibling love.
We need movies to get back to featuring more than just romantic love interests. Best friend characters have their place too.
That's honestly something that I love about both of the Disney movies that came out in 2016 (this and Moana), that romance wasn't a part of the dynamic between the leads. Moana & Maui was undeniably 100% platonic, and with Judy & Nick it was kept decidedly ambiguous (and I'm definitely on the side of seeing it as just friendship).

For anyone wondering what animal the “baby fox” was, he’s a fennec fox, a small fox that lives in the Sahara desert.

fun fact about fennec foxes, they have extra fur under their paws to protect their paw pads from the hot sand
24:37 most people forget otters are related to badgers and wolverines. Giant otters for example are badasses and do not want to mess with them. And the smallest member-the weasel- if it was just a little bigger could cause a massive destruction because of how good a predator it is.

Great movie, and quite a few inspirational messages. One of them is showing why things like past prejudices should stay in the past, as well as how easily somebody can use things like hate and fear, as the perfect tool for their own benefit. Even the song itself describes Judy's journey through out the movie itself, with how Judy having to learn more about her own flaws, before she could actually fix the ones in the world.

Not to mention all the jokes and references that mostly only adults would get, and were meant for the adults.
I'm gonna be quite direct: Otters can be _vicious._ Yes, they look cute, they hold hands when they sleep, They also have been know to tear dogs to shreds if they come into their territory and they bite each othrs noses so hard that there are many otters with no nose.
Otters are wild animals and dangerous predators, and the size doesn't really matter if you are not prepared for it, plus Otters have the advantage of speed and evasion over bigger foes.
For the baby fox being a grown adult, it's a fennec fox, they are very small with large ears, their ears are used to cool off as they normally live in really hot environments, but here it's used for extra cuteness.
Actually, Bunnies are not all cute and cuddly and they can kill each other. So, they are not exactly the perfect little creatures.

Fun Fact: The ram who was growing those flowers is a Breaking Bad reference. Woolter's and Jesse's names respectively are references to Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, the protagonists of the crime drama series Breaking Bad. Their use of a subway car as a lab is a reference to the RV used by Walt and Jesse as their lab in the series' first three seasons.
The amount of call backs in this movie 🔥 Walter and Jessi from Breaking Bad - that was wild every adult in the theater was shocked at that one 😅 (the show about a teacher and his old student cooking meth lol)

The voice you said sounded familiar at 6:46 (the sheep) is Jenny slate. You may know her from Alvin and the chipmunk shipwrecked. The lady that was on the island with them that went a lil crazy. Her voice is so distinctive I love it I can listen to her talk for hours
Shes played in a lot of things but another big role of hers was when she played Missy in big mouth before they switched actors. I loved her in chipwrecked and this movie but as soon as I heard her voice as the sheep I got a little suspicious bc of chipwrecked😂😂😂

This was a favorite of mine among Disney's 2010 roster. I missed it when it was initially in theaters but I managed to watch it in 2020 when my family got Disney+.

in the uk, many parking lots are monitored by cameras too. A definite ticket. A friend I was with was ticketed with this camera even though we were out of the spot, there was traffic and we "left" 15 minutes past the time.

So I actually work as operations and enforcement for a parking company. The level of access i have to see when payments expired only goes up to about 15min so if i pull up the expired payment list and your plate is on it, ill leave it alone if its been under 10min. I do this because the app that people have to use to pay sends you notifications that your payment is about to expire at 1 hr, 30min, and 15min which gives you more than enough time to either purchase a new parking session if you know youre going to stay there or move your car. If youve gone nearly an 90min getting notifications that your car's parking is about to expire and you dont do anything you deserve a ticket at that point. Now if youre in a 15/20 min parking stall im getting you as soon as you go over because when you parked there you knew that whatever you were doing was going to take you less than 10min and if you knew or were worried that 15min wasnt going to be long enough you wouldnt have chosen to park in that space.
Also how im feeling that day will cause these times to fluxate a few minutes. Also if your car is expired but in that range where id leave you alone and you come up to me hostile or disrespectful youre getting that ticket even if i dont physically hand it to you.
