How is the background noise cancellation? I have an AC on 24/7 and it's fairly loud.

@@elise2100 my AC and computer fans go off so loudly but it is very good even with raw audio. It will pick up your voice so clearly it doesn't seem like it's under $100

Watched a few reviews of this mic and wasn't impressed by the sound quality. When I watched your review I realized the other reviewers made the mic sound bad because they didn't have your DJ/announcer voice. You sound great on this mic.

Anyway, done and done. I had already sorted the microphone situation and had settled on the PM-422, but had also managed to get irretrievably lost in the morass of studio headphones. After watching your vid, I thought, why not have a matched set? Your audio was astoundingly good throughout the broadcast and you seemed perfectly satisfied with the headphones. can I run a pm420 & pm421 together on the same laptop? I read that I can't run 2 of the same mics cause it recognizes it as the same. so I bought a Maono 420 and 421....am I able to run two of the "pm421" thru the same laptop? id rather use two 421's

That USB for the mic is VERY standard for printers and older devices like USB hubs. :) More 90s-2000s era. :) But guess what...my Brother printer that uses it still prints under Mac OS X Mojave. :)

This is a great microphone definitely. If you are good with a soldering iron, you can also turn this into an end-address dynamic usb mic by replacing the condenser capsule. It beats buying a rode podcaster for $200 bucks.

I appreciate this review , I'm sold on the sound quality . I was looking at this setup on Amazon and came to RUclips looking for reviews on it and found yours . One thing that I am curious about though is if I am gaming will the game sound be able to come thru the headphones if they are plugged into the mic?. Gaming/streaming is my main use for a setup like this.
