I have been struggling with a bunch of fences and railings. Had to redo plans 4 times, could not copy and paste because of awkward angles. Built one by one. I installed the extensions and now I don't know how to go about living anymore. This stuff has just made everything so easy after a week of frustration I genuinely cried when my fences went up. Thank you so much, I'm off to finally finish this hell of a plan
WOW you are productive Justin! Really like this video. Installed the plugin yesterday and that worked just fine but I did not realize that I could offset a line in this way. Thanks a lot.
That's really perfect! Thank you so much for a nice understandable tutorial. Downloaded the extentions. Enjoyed watching and making my own curved balcony rail ;) btw nice music in the background, it raised my mood up ;)
hey i have a path and might as well say a bottom and top frame for idk how in exactly well to explain it but i am having trouble to get my main window to strt out at a specific area on my frame and trying to duplicate that window along the center point of my frames /path . and it keep getting too many windows and all the ways i have tried are passing my guide point on where i want the windows to stop at . is there by any way could you please post a video that may can help me with this issue ?
heres my map guied to my model where i am having difficulties at . i tried my best to color code everything so u can try to understand wht i am talking about . where within my specific area i want my windows to strt at and where to stop . prntscr.com/hk68nf
Hi there! I think the issue is your path. The extension doesn't look at a guide point as a part of your path. You need to split your lines so that they start and stop where you want them to, or pathcopy will copy your component along the entire path. Did that make sense? Thanks!
can u do like an explaination video to it and to make sure its alot more easier to follow . as like use something as i was just explained in my issues. would be very helpful more if u possibly could when u get spare time . Thank you in advance .
You saved my life. Almost cried making a curved structure. :') Thank you so much! God bless you

Glad it helped! I think a lot of people know you can offset on a face, but I don't think that everyone knows they can offset lines.
Your videos are very helpful ❤️

THANK YOU X3000
Can what so did be done with SketchUp Make 2017? Or paid versions only like Pro ?
Did you try it with Make 2017?
awsome!
Thanks!
Mines don't align perpendicular with the line like the first pole I select.
They align based on whatever your object axis is - you might need to adjust that
@@Thesketchupessentials Thanks. Yeah I had to spend a little time figuring that out. haha
