sorry to be offtopic but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
All because of your videos , I am I a confident position today ! Able to do any challenging designs in future that crosses my way. And please do motivate us like this and we are very supportive to your RUclips channel and creative designs you teach and come up with. Greetings from India.
Weld... The thing I'm dreaming about for more than 10 years but had no idea existed ! Brought to me by Justin... Who else ? :D You're always a big help, even for what I'm not looking help with ^^ Thanks man !
Hello from London, Firstly , I can’t thank you enough for these video tutorials. You have enabled me to save lots of time modelling to sets for work, so thank you . Secondly I need to create a cave for a to studio set, 20ft high and modelling in S/UP , I’ve gone down the sandbox route and sculpting the walls , it’s time consuming and although I want an organic look , you def get that with sandbox with little control (that’s due to my lack of experience too) . I wondered if you had any ideas using flowify or another type of extension or general advise . I’ll beef it all up with rocks found in the 3D warehouse. Thanks again for the tutorials
This seems like it would be wonderful for throwing curved sidewalks, parking lots, etc. onto site plans.....very excited to try out. Thanks for your work, chief.
Pretty interesting program. I am professional digital modeler working in automotive area. Bit curious how this will work and affect to automotive designers. Thank you for sharing your video
A big thank you for your many tutorials! I follow them with great interest and start to master a lot of plugins thanks to you! But Flowify continues to pose a problem for me: I am desperately trying to operate on a curved surface (vase). I create the half-vase without thickness, I have 4 corners. I draw my lines, and I make my surface, I make my three groups that I put in one big group. I click on "Impose Grid", but it doesn't work. I tried several times, the grid cannot apply. I'm desperate. Do you know where the problem can come from? Many thanks in advance if you have the time and the desire to respond.
That is so amazing ong man! Honestly love your videos, I am currently working on a project in which I’m turning a rig cage design into a shopping mall, I did it in Rhino but I wanted to know if it will be possible in Sketchup, I’d appreciate any tips from you Sir! Thank you!
TheSketchUpEssentials well I need to create a shopping mall between a train bridge shifting into a y shape, so like a canopy sort of thing, but using the concept of ribs, to have glass in the middle of each rib. Thanks
Regarding the flowify extension, did you just draw any random rectangle, and connected the two corners with those projection lines on the main object? Because in one of the videos about flowify, you said that the impose grid won't work unless the dimensions of the rectangle are exactly the same as the main object below!
i din't know whether is my geometry too complex or me making mistake. When i tap the "impose grid" button, it just wont create grid. However, when i try something simpler, it works properly...Really need some help here (Plus, it would be great if you can add some limitation and disadvantage on each of the plugins, it could really help beginners like us to choose the right plugins!!) Thanks!
Does your more complex piece of geometry have 4 corners? Are you sure you have your grouping set up right? 99% of the time when this extension doesn't impose a grid, it seems to be because the groups aren't set up properly, but if your object doesn't have 4 corners, Flowify won't recognize it
Hi! I'm having a problem with the download of the extention. The plugin doesn't appear for use, even if I go to the tool window, I just can't find the plugin
Everything seems so clear and easy, but impose grid just does not work at all for me sadly :/ even with the simplest of shapes. Maybe something wrong with my plugin?
Hey I’m a tech ed teacher and really would like to do a lesson where The students take apart a plastic toy and find a piece in it that they could measure and design on sketchup then 3-D print that object. Would this be possible? Let me know what you guys think
Can you provide more information on which extrusion extension you have downloaded? I've not finding the same one you are using in the extension warehouse. Thanks!
curious if there is a way to obtain the plugins without having to sign up or SketchUcation or TheSketchEssentials.. Been having to do this with lots of software, even adobe products, and now SketchUp too,, eish, think I'm just tired of making soo many sign-ups to obtain single plugins or simple things. Flowify and Weld are easy cos they're in the extension warehouse, search them, see the icon matches, install, use,,, easy. Thank you for the vid tho, I like your work and the way you handle the subject, it is quite fun. Keep up the good work..
Well you never have to sign up for The SketchUp Essentials to get extensions, as I'm not a developer. If you want extensions from SketchUcation, you're going to have to register.
Thanx bro, signed up and got them. Was annoyed cos had to sign up for so many things that day XD :::: Thx again or vid here, I got it all right and am gonna experiment with these plugins a whole bunch
Thank you for the wonderful tutorials. I am trying to search and download the extension plug ins you used in the above videos : Shape Bender, Extrusion tool, mutiple offset, weld, ...railing. I managed to fin donly the welding tool by Eneroth and Chris Fuller Shape Bender. The rest have no ideas who is the developer. Too many choices pop up and i ahve difficulty to recognize which one exactly are the ones you used above. Thanks, appreciate if you could let me know. All the best =) Malaysia, Sharon Thean
hey Justin, sorry to disturb you, i have this shell form i would like help with, its pretty simple but i cant seem to get around it, ive searched through your tutorials but cant see anything covering what i need, its a lot like what youve shown, but little things differ, thats what is giving me problems, i dont know if i could get a tutorial on that, it would really be a blessing, i can email you a picture, it looks pretty basic but i just cant work it out...please, id appreciate it a lot.
Great videos... I'm working with sketchup 2018 but the surface still appears in dots after extrude edges by rail, is there a way I can generate the dots into a complete surface?
Hi justin! This tutorial is really helpful! i just have one problem, I can't see the grid when i do the extrusion, it only shows the cross shape grid and not the line type. What should I do? looking forward for a response! thank youuu -Paola (Philippines)

So I think I figured it out. I think it was related on how I was cutting my circle in half. I was just using the line tool and the inference wants to connect to the endpoints in the arc around the circle but I needed to draw a line from the mid point of a segment in the arc straight across to the other edge midpoint. That will cause the ends to be flat and not have a slight angle.
Hello, how are you? I wanna know what computer's components i need to realize complex projects with good perform about SketchUp y V Ray. Very good your videos and greets from Argentina!!!!
You will want an Intel i7 or Xeon processor and a decent graphics card (Radeon RX580 or Nvidia 1070). I'm in my fourth year studying architecture, and I always come to you to add a lil sauce to my projects. Keep at it !!!
Nice - glad I could help! :)

Thank you very much from Hyderabad, India!
Great review! I'm new to product design, and one of my projects is organic like these examples. Thanks!
This is gold
You're the best! Ofc We have to follow your channel instead of garebage channels..
There are a bunch of good channels out there as well - just make sure what you're hearing makes sense to you :)
Love you're creative ideas. Makes me wonder how far you can go with flowefy before it crashes. :-)
As long as your PC will keep generating new geometry!!!!
Chapeau et champion.
good work king, love you
Appreciate it!
I had to subscribe! Simple yet amazing explanation! God bless you for sharing your knowledge my friend!
Thanks for watching! :)

Thanks very much!
I mist that one in January ! And I really like this video. This will be useful to me.
Thanks again,
Cool! Have fun with it George!
Thank you for the tutorial.
Can sketchup build complex Jewelry design instead of using Rhino or blender?
8 - Seguir as opções
12 - Selecionar as duas linhas e criar grupo
17 - Selecionar toda a forma e usar a ferramenta Multiples offsets
18 - Seguir as opções

TheSketchUpEssentials well I need to create a shopping mall between a train bridge shifting into a y shape, so like a canopy sort of thing, but using the concept of ribs, to have glass in the middle of each rib. Thanks
You are amazing! Loved your work.
😎😎👍
hi! Could I ask how to change the height of the middle part? Without adjusting the both ends

Do the techniques and features you use require paid sketchup pro or will the free web based version suffice?
crazy videos babe
Glad you're liking them
very usefull channel, many thanks
This is wonderful
Thanks Man! This is so helpful.
Thanks - glad you liked it!
perfect thank you i have a question please answer how i can use .fbx or .obj format in sketchup ?
Nice Tutorial!
😎😀
You could easily make this same thing with the follow me. It never hurts to download an extra plugin for Sketchup
Great! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
10:20 you can triple click and then deselect the outer one with shift(or ctrl, i dont remember) click. Much faster ✌️
I'd say about the same, actually, but still should work - thanks!
Very cool stuff!
Thanks!

Hello sir , how to import SketchUp models in substance painter and add materials ?
Hi! I'm having a problem with the download of the extention. The plugin doesn't appear for use, even if I go to the tool window, I just can't find the plugin
I'm making a realistic model of a tree. I am building a tree house in it.
This would be great for placing bark on a branch. I will try it.
Wow bro. you are marvelous ;)
Everything seems so clear and easy, but impose grid just does not work at all for me sadly :/ even with the simplest of shapes. Maybe something wrong with my plugin?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be possible, just would have a bunch of front end setup
TheSketchUpEssentials I appreciate the response. Probably will make a lesson plan and give it a go! Thanks for your help. Your videos are perfect
hey well I clicked show terrain but it didn't work on my google earth view so do you know how to solve that problem??
can this work for a terrain and put it on top the sidewalks and roads? cause it dosent work that example for me
Thanks again
No problem!
Is this works on versions of 2016 sketch up?
amazing work .. thank u so much
Thanks for watching!
Can you provide more information on which extrusion extension you have downloaded? I've not finding the same one you are using in the extension warehouse. Thanks!
The link to the extension is in the notes below the video - it's in the Sketchucation warehouse, not the SketchUp warehouse. Thanks!
hi justin, do we have to pay to create account on sketchucation ?
Congrats!
Thanks :)
Very nice! Thanks.
Thanks Chipp!
loved it
Thanks!

Hi Sharon - did you try following the links in the description below the video? That should get you what you need - thanks! :)
Wow.....did not expect you to reply that fast. Thank you SO SO MUCH Justin =)

Thank you sir

my flowify grid is not appearing even I grouped everyting perfectly. can you help please?
Impressive !
Thanks :)
Love u bro u're are a real deal
Thanks very much - glad you're liking the videos!
thanks
😀
I can not do something like this with the free version right?
hey Justin, sorry to disturb you, i have this shell form i would like help with, its pretty simple but i cant seem to get around it, ive searched through your tutorials but cant see anything covering what i need, its a lot like what youve shown, but little things differ, thats what is giving me problems, i dont know if i could get a tutorial on that, it would really be a blessing, i can email you a picture, it looks pretty basic but i just cant work it out...please, id appreciate it a lot.
Looks the plugin asks you questions as if a quiz is going on😁,BTW very useful
Lol - lots of questions equals lots of options!
Great videos... I'm working with sketchup 2018 but the surface still appears in dots after extrude edges by rail, is there a way I can generate the dots into a complete surface?
Try updating to the most recent version of extrude tools?
Hi justin! This tutorial is really helpful! i just have one problem, I can't see the grid when i do the extrusion, it only shows the cross shape grid and not the line type. What should I do? looking forward for a response! thank youuu -Paola (Philippines)
Are you working in SketchUp 2017? This extension doesn't work with 2017 for some reason (something about the code). It has been updated to work with 2018 though. Let me know!
okay! Will try to update my SketchUp, thank you! your tutorial is amazing!
what if you want to adjust heights in areas of your extrusion? your shape has a vertical dip as the width of the outline narrows. Is it possible to adjust that?
At what point? I'd just adjust the height when I originally created the extrusion with extrude tools
I create with this extention my "organic" building, but it can't do it identically. I have now a similar block to my established model. How to move a single points on the created mesh? How to modify it manually?
You could use the move tool or use sandbox tools to move it around
I've really enjoyed working with flowify since you've been doing some get videos on it. The one problem I keep having is after I bend my shape along 2 half circles I can't seem to get the 2 halfs to match up to make a whole circle. I'm make a bracelet if that helps with painting a picture. Thanks for any suggestions.
Interesting...are you modeling one piece, then flipping it? If it's not symmetrical, you might run into some problems...
Thanks, yes I'm modeling 1 piece and flipping it. I think it should be symmetrical but something is not quite right. I saw another video about flowify and they talked about adding a buffer to each end so that flowify will do something correctly with the normals. I'm a newbie so I didn't fully understand it. Keep up the great work.
Same problem. I fixed it in this tute: ruclips.net/video/AzEoF4x_G5M/видео.html
If you are on a tight budget look at getting an old Dell Precision T5500 and putting a Xeon x5680 processor in it (£30 from aliexpress.com shipped worlwide), or an HP z400 workstation, these are old systems but still very powerful, and can be bought for around £100-£150 or less than $200. You will want at least 8-16GB of DDR3 RAM also, those workstation PC's with the Xeon CPU's can accept ECC RAM which is much cheaper second hand than normal consumer RAM.
Excuse me! Could you shear me the link below of "mutiple offset"? I couldn't find it in extension warehouse. Thanks!
I think I linked to it here - www.thesketchupessentials.com/multipleoffsets/
