Super happy that I found your videos, they are really awesome to watch as a sketchup newbie. will definately be supporting you on patreon.
Very creative Justin! Thank you!
I hope you had a great Christmas!
Hi Willem! I had a great Christmas - hope yours was good as well!
you can also flip not by scale tool but by clicking with right mouse button -> flip along ->(choose) "objects: red/green/blue axis"
You explain everything really nice. Keep uploading.

I think you could make that a printable solid by exploding and then running Solid inspector.
Justin you are very awesome guy . I learn from you so much about sketch up..please can you make video about vr experience in sketch up
I have an Oculus Rift headset, just haven't gotten around to making the vids yet - I'll do several this year though, I promise!
Awesome
Glad you liked it!
thanks very nice
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Hi Justin, I think what would be real cool is to use FFD and unique shapes to create a futuristic city the shapes being the different buildings, like in the movie Midnight Special towards the end they reveal the hidden city(great futuristic architecture BTW)
I like that idea - I've always been a big fan of futuristic architecture anyway, so that would be a really cool application!
You are the best
😀
muy buen video, de mucha ayuda
👍😀
tnx !
👍👍😀
This video is really a great help. But how about trying skyscrapers with crazy shapes design? That'll be really helpful.
That's a pretty broad request - really depends on the skyscraper - something like this? ruclips.net/video/iVMhQiLIM6k/видео.html
Hi Justin, thanks for the great video. For the Enscape, why does it pause realtime water when you dont move?
Interesting...I actually don't know the answer to that! :)
Love u
Lol - thanks for watching!
Veramente interessante . Sei forte.
Potresti fare un video per la modellazione di una barca a vela. Grazie.
Thanks for watching!
Great video, do you have any suggestions on how to make SU models more 3D printable. I have been attempting to print models using curvealoft (sp?) and am only getting holes.
A lot of it depends on what you're trying to model. Obviously it's difficult getting complex shapes to show up as solids in SketchUp - you might use an extension like solid inspector to see if you can fix the holes manually - extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/solid-inspector%C2%B2 - Hopefully this helps a bit...
TheSketchUpEssentials thanks, I’ll give it go.
Hi Justin fantastic work !!
I cant download FFD can you help me
I'm going to need more information...
Thanks for prompt respond .
I used sketchup 2018 and the link dont work can't find this plugin in 3d warehouse ?
It's not in the SketchUp extension warehouse. It's in the SketchUcation extension store, which is where the link takes you. You have to create a login there to download extension files. If you're not logged in, you can't download files...
Fantastic all work thanks for you help
The model flipped out when I tried to rotate the FFD points :(
That's not a whole lot of information...
Hehe, sorry. The rotate step just didn't work in this case, though I got it to work on other object's FFD points.
@@mmo4754 i had the same problem witch the FFD rotation step as well, how did you fix it??
Explode everything triple click everything find outer shell option print it lol
Interesting - is that using Solid Tools? I'll have to give that a try :)
Hi, i love your videos but is very fast, i can undertestend, but u speak very fast!!
