Very clever way of making that arc, I’d usually just make the strings a straight like because my arc would be all over the place. But this looks so much better and realistic. Path copy is definitely a must have! Thanks Justin
Hey Justin. I have a question and I'm not entirely sure where to ask. I'll just jump in and ask you which plug in I can use to force a number of different faces to follow a vector (thereby making them a uniformly flat surface along said vector). Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi there, thanks for your videos. Is this also possible with enscape objects? For example I would like to have a line light in my arc, but for some reason it doesn't work. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for the tutorial. When I create the arc hanging line, it doesnt appear in my rendering programme. Is this because its a thick black line in sketchup instead of the usual thin line? How do i fix this?
I'll try this on a machine gun ammunition belt --- this is like the "copy along path" from JHS power bar. I need an opinion, feel free anyone to comment - I am creating a wooden pathway that would circle around cliffs - what's the best approach on that? thanks for the replies!
Hi Justin ! I really like this one. Very simple, but very useful. What would you use in V-Ray for the light bulbs ? The emissive settings or something else ? It would be nice to make a glare from the light bulb...
For the actual light itself, I'd use either a point light or a spot light. I'd only use the emissive settings to make the bulb itself look like it's glowing, but not to light my model 👍

Hi Everyone! Let me know how you've been using Path Copy in the comments below! :)

copy along path, same principle as shown in the video
;- )
Should work fine - for the path, I'd start by trying this extension and see if you can make that work
