    That's a massive red flag the boyfriend's response was to throw a rock at a child. It's weird behavior from the kid but the issue is his mother. Also CPS should be involved before the landlord. Id be concerned the mother would retaliate to the child if the landlord gets on to her. This is so dangerous for a child

      Its not great, but I also can understand the frustration and feeling very unsafe even if he is young. He's a kid but clearly isn't being taught boundaries in any way. There have been multiple stories on Reddit of young teen boys with mom's like this peeping in a decidedly not child-like way. There was one a year or so ago where the mother managed to snag a key and the gf got out of the shower to find her young teenage son pleasuring himself outside the bathroom door.
      All I'm saying is that kid getting a bit scared now, might correct his behavior in a way the mom is refusing to. Which will be safer for him and everyone else in a year or two when puberty starts kicking in.

      @Boxerdogmom 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@QueenOfTheZombieApocalypse yea I see your point about this could increase to more extreme behavior but still I disagree with using physical violence against a child. Had the husband called police it would have been better. The lack of supervision makes this young boy at severe risk for being a victim for a pedophile or other crimes. Plus I get the feeling this kid just doesn't want to be alone anymore...

      @@BoxerdogmomGeez I was almost with you until the calling the police part…a little confused as to how you can think that reacting to kids with violence is (obviously) cruel but see calling the police as “better” here?! How about calling/ telling the kid’s mom or parents first…? The landlord..?

    I think CPS & the landlord both need to be called. And then I would get window clingfilm to make it so that you can't actually see the windows! Oh my god this is so creepy!
    But also… You can't throw rocks at kids. That is actually assault.

    For the mom abandoning her kid: she abandoned them for years and she expects to just waltz back in? She said she was going to be gone for a few months, which is bad enough. But then she just decided to keep going? No visits? No phone or video calls? She sucks and I hope she does them the favor of staying gone.

    The 12 year old sounds like a neglected, lonely kid who probably has autism or something. I feel really sorry for him, I don't think he has any idea what's socially appropriate or not because of his mother. I completely blame the mom for that entire situation. I'm a single mom of an autistic 12 year old (as well as a 10 yr old & 15 yr old) and I would NEVER put him in a situation like that. Shes awful. I dont like the OPs husband either though, throwing a rock at a kid who likely has special needs for doing something his mom told him to do isn't right. He could have handled things so much better.

  • @DaniS398
    @DaniS398 5 месяцев назад +4

    Ok..the story with the "creepy kid"....OP is a teacher...a mandatory reporter, and she is being presented with evidence that a child is being neglected. Why the HELL hasn't she called the police or CPS. Also her husband is an a*hole. You don't throw rocks at children. That kid is unsupervised, seems hungry, doesn't know how to ask for help and this teacher who supposedly cares about kids is thinking about calling a landlord but not CPS. Also that mom is trying to get her child kidnapped or worse. *Those * kind of people will also have all the things kids love in their home to lure said kids in. A bunch of stupid adults and that poor child is going to suffer.

      Sometimes some really traumatic stuff survives this. I can still recall being attacked by a wiener dog as a one year old. My aunt saved me by picking me up and subsequently was bitten by the dog. Except that in my memories it's not a small wiener dog, it's a giant scary dog. Everything else is accurate.
      It's not a story that has been retold to me. I recounted it to my aunt for the first time in my late 20s and it took her a while to recall details.
      The dog didn't survive the attack for long. Its owner hit him on the nose for that when he heard about it and he didn't survive that. That was >40 years ago. I still have vivid memories about it ...

    The parents in the first stories are insane- The one about the mom who dumped her kids to travel makes me so angry too. How dare she try to sue for custody of children she actively abandoned for selfish reasons? I get trying to discover yourself, but when you become a parent your responsibility is to your children. Even if you still traveled, you should have worked that out with your partner and tried to see if that lifestyle would be a good opportunity for the children too.

    the kid was 12 and someone complains about him being around his own home? wtf? 😂My daughter was 7 when she walked home from the elementary school alone for the first time. And we are living in a big city, not a village. But also it's Germany and kids have more freedom here and it's waaaaay safer in the public space than in the US.

    Awe that's terrible situation for Jay....it's not right. It's not op job to raise her child but I cannot see how a teacher could see that kinda shit going on & do nothing. He would ABSOLUTELY become my Lil buddy ,, and I would raise him right. He was polite & 12. 12! Op behaves like a 12 yr old ( as do I & I'm 42 lol) he saw those console & him mind exploded in a good way. He saw his future not doomed to b alone ( neglect ruins lives & cycle continutes) that doesn't excuse moms crappiness . I wouldn't excuse her & bc her not losing her kid shittiness BUT he would b invited into my life, explain how to b a good person, set boundaries health w him, explain how some moms suck there just people, boost him up love his weirdness, show him friendship, healthy caring adults, never bad mouth mom but show what her bad behavior isn't coolor how u behave, & b there to comfort, help him thru!!(! So mad) life is LIFE things happen! He popped into ops life 4 a reason! Question is what op gonna do about that? B there w tears of pride in ur eyes at Jay's high school/collage graduation? Or throw a rock at the neglected child watching CARTOONS w his coolest peeps ever idea , b annoyed, wake up to teach young people the next day.....gross I am GROSSED OUT WITH this sad state " humans" r in.

    I've watched some anime . . . I love the Ghibli movies, I collected those like Pokemon because I gotta havem 'em all and I've seen some of Naruto but stopped after Sasuke left town because the main character is too annoying without Sasuke there to tell Naruto to STFU. I liked some other characters but they weren't there often enough for me to get through the Naruto scenes. My brother who watched the show a lot more than I did, (mostly I watched because he had the tv and had put Naruto on) he says Naruto does become less obnoxious but I can't be bothered to watch through the show and all the shouting to get to that part. I did watch the next generation and I like Naruto's son a lot more than I will really ever like Naruto himself. Not sure it counts as anime but I do enjoy Kingdom Hearts and because Cloud was in it I did watch Final Fantasy . . . couldn't tell you which one it was because it was many years ago and there's quite a few of them now. The series doesn't understand the meaning of the word Final . . . . Oh I also watched that Vampire Academy movie but the ending was gross in my opinion because of the . . .
    (Spoiler)
    . . . the whole sibling incest thing.

    I love anime. I don't watch any lately but due to me being sick and busy. My first one was Naruto and Dragonbal. My last ones was Classroom of the Elite, Finland Saga, Baki and Ohsi no Ko. I recommend all of them. They're all so good!

    I know people who may have possible autism but she uses it to get away with poor and mean behaviour. The parents just say oh you know how she is. Shes heavily spoiled. This 14yr old sounds similar to the person i know shes now 30 and as her uncle says a danger.
