I lost a baby and I still reminded and sad sometimes over 30 years later. Maya was depressed and needed help.
And seeing as she's been living in her car since 16- She's lost her only family.
My heart breaks for her! 6 months is pretty far along as well 😢 She would have been showing and by that point you are so attached and making so many plans for your future little one.
We lost a baby just 9 weeks into the pregnancy and I still think about it 10 years later. Took us another year before we even wanted to try again. OP just blew up her relationship with her son for being a stuck up B.
It's awful that so few people will understand that it doesn't get better for you it just gets less frequent.
Same, my friend and I were pregnant at the same time and I lost mine and her son is amazing but I get sad sometimes because that’s how old my little one would be. My rainbow baby helps tho because I wouldn’t have her if the cards didn’t fall this way. 🌈

She lost the baby at 6 MONTHS!!! 6 months! That's 6 months of growing and loving and daydreaming and looking forward to seeing the baby and being excited and morning sickness and ligament pain and following along on the developments of your growing baby, etc. she is grieving the loss of the child she was growing inside her womb. She's depressed and probably blaming herself for losing the baby. I've had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and that devastated me and I felt like I failed protecting the baby. She was 6 months pregnant... Mom-ster is heartless to be saying this and accusing her of stuff. Mom-ster is 100% TA
Also, at 6 months, you usually still have to give birth knowing it is stillborn.
Honestly Sofia if Sam’s mad at what you made him to eat he should be mad at himself for not coming home with groceries for you to make food with idk 😂
Sophia did the best with what she had. Sam dropped the ball with the groceries. But honestly, Sam should have made his own sandwich. Dinner makes sense with their arrangement since it involves cooking. There is no cooking with a sandwich so Sam should be an adult and make it himself. Since she did do it, he should be grateful.
We ended the deal. I am now cooking for myself once again and loving it haha -Sam

It's AMAZING how quickly our perception of someone we think we love can change based on their strong reaction to a seemingly small thing.
Like, are we just constantly deluding ourselves and looking beyond all the red flags...or are this many people genuine psychopaths that are able to trick us for years??
I think is because is do instilled into us that we have to make it work, that people today give up very quickly, etc. So some people try to work it out, but is hard to differentiate what can be fixed and what is a deal breaker

I had 5 miscarriages and they are devastating. I couldn't imagine having a stillbirth/miscarriage that far along. It is depressing, soul sucking, and takes time to mentally recover. People need more compassion.
Ooh the sibling food sitch... I kinda like that exchange, but I agree that maybe Sophia just cooks dinner and people fend for themselves for breakfast and lunch. It also just seems more practical since people's morning/daytime schedules can be pretty different, whereas dinnertime seems a little easier to coordinate since folks are probably winding down for the day around the same time 🤷♀️

As for the story of the miscarriage & OP calling Mya a gold digger; I feel like OP has done much more toxic things than just saying what she stated here. I've been no-contact with my parents & siblings for 9yrs+, and I'm 44. I took all the 🐃💩 I could tolerate for 36 years before finally saying enough is enough. 🤷🏽♀️ I don't feel the least bit sad for OP bc she most likely brought this on herself.

Story 1 reminds me of my x. I got an insurance settlement from a car accident. It was meant to go to future medical bills, because I was still having problems. My x wanted me to use it to buy him a new truck. It ended up all going to pay off his debts and to living expenses because he couldn't hold down a job. But he kept resenting me for not spending it on him. But it was spent on him.

For the couple who has a debt, when my husband and I first met, when I realized I loved him, after a fee short weeks/dates, I had to ask if he had debt to his name. Bc I'm terrified of debt. And thankfully, I got lucky and he had/has zero debt. I would still stay with my person if I learned it was for their family home

Maya 100% sounded depressed. Six months over halfway pregnant, and whilst any loss is devastating, the further into the pregnancy the more difficult it can be to cope with the loss of your child (in my experience).
The mother may have been able to make something of herself when she was single and pregnant, but as you said, we don’t know her circumstances beforehand. Also, everything was so much more inexpensive back when she had her son; rent, food, education, etc…so you can’t compare back then to today’s standards.
I was a single mother and did well for myself, but if one of my daughters became a single mother now, with the price of everything there is no way they’d be able to have the same experience I did. I hate the whole, “I did it so you can too” mentality.
I hope Riley & Sophia end up together in the future 🫶
miscarriages are actually very common, HOWEVER mostly in the first trimester. miscarriages this lat in the pregnancy can be very exhausting for the body and very traumatic for the mom.

2nd story: I've been in a similar story as OP where my partner made less money than me at some point and they still did cute little things for me like buying me my favorite candy bar, buy me or cook me breakfast when they get paid, etc. You don't need expensive stuff to treat your partner and make them feel loved. Either OP's sister is a materialistic person or the sister's partner is neglecting giving her cute little reminders that he loves her.

The first story has me rolling my eyes so hard. This guy hasn't managed his money in a way that would allow him to buy a house and when his landlord didn't renew his lease he "unexpectedly" moved in with his girlfriend, thinks he can do better with investments than someone who turned a windfall into an education, a home, and a savings account. Never take investment advice from broke people. It sounds like she has a great financial advisor because some people are comfortable with investing in high risk, high return investments and others are willing to take a lower return to reduce our risk.

With few exceptions (like some in the south or low population states), that’s pretty much the “1st home” price everywhere in America. You may get more bang for ur buck in some, but cheap housing is a thing of the past. I bet u can’t touch anything in CA for that price. Like at all. It’s gross.

Everyone handles depression in their own way, I've had a couple of miscarriages however the worst and last caused one of my fallopian tubes to rupture had I waited another 1-2 hrs before finally going to the ER I would've died. Found some other issues was in the hospital for 10 days was in my senior year that I had to more or less repeat do to school BS and was cheated on and broke up with my partner at the time after I was released from hospital and yet I still finished school got my diploma and didn't let the loss stop me from living life. The world doesn't stop bcuz ur depressed if ur living on someone else's dime you suck it up and find help not continue to live on their dime. Nothing wrong with mother expecting her to do something aside from living off her son/her if however if he chooses to pay both of their way she does need to back off. Or give them both in ultimatum to leave if she is okay with that.
