12:54 my boyfriends mom had only sons. 3 boys. My bf is the middle child and his mom always wanted a girl named Holly. Because of how his parents treat me and love spending time with me, if my bf and I were to ever get married and have a baby girl, I'd want to ask his mom if it'd be okay to name our kid Holly in honor of her. But that's only because she's kind and nice to me. She even came to my college graduation so she already feels like an amazing mother in law to me. If you're kind to someone, people will be kind back.

I blocked a friend of 6 years with "no explanation". Simply because I had already given my boundaries and they always walked over them. It was easier to just walk away versus trying to explain and have them turn it into an argument. They weren't ready to listen.

Same. For me we were friends for about 6 years as well. She was not just horrible to me, but everyone in her life. Especially her mum. I was tired of explaining myself and being called names and all sorts so the last time I told her I forgave her, even though she didn't apologise, and then proceeded to delete her contacts

I fully blocked a friend I've known since I was born (I'm 33 years old) on every platform she could reach me, some months ago. She overstepped serious boundaries and constantly accused me of trying to tell people her secrets - she always shared her darkest secrets unprompted, I never asked her to, and then always made a scene asking me to delete every single message she's sent me and then wanted me to show her screenshots of the cleaned apps as proof. 🙄 I told her she was being paranoid and that I've never told a soul what she told me, neither do I intend to in the future. She told me she could never trust me, and that I was being the worst friend imaginable. She's done this a few times. I hate being accused of something so heinous when I've given her no reasons to distrust me. I can't deal with that, so I'm done. Plus, she's accused me of other things I won't share.

I wanna preface this by saying that I have a cousin older than my dad. So my entire life I’ve never really thought about age being a barrier to friendship with how extensive my family is as well as all the family friends of my dad and grandparents.
I mentioned celebrating my friends 38th birthday a couple weeks ago and one person got a little weird about it.
I’m 30. Unless one party is being weird, friendship isn’t that strange even with age differences.

I used to be part of a choir with people in a lot of different ages, the ones who joins are usually around 20 something years old, the ones who were there for years could be around 40. We were good friends spending time together not only at practice and performing but also at free time, even going out for weekends together. Age doesn't have to be weird or problem if we have something in common 😊

Parents should want their children to do better and have more opportunities than they got. Unfortunately what parents did was do for their children and give them what they didn't have. So in short they made their children entitled. However you have the parents that are jealous that their children have more at an age where they had less. Credit is a big problem with this because when we were young adults we didn't have credit cards we had to work hard for everything we got. I have never been jealous of my children's accomplishments. However, I do worry about them being credit laden.

About Domino's, that is depending where it is, (Country) coz here in Denmark Domino's had to close coz it was dirty as heck.
About the MIL with problems, the son should actually go no contact fully, coz the mother will not change before she loses all and she nthen figures out that if you dont change, you wont see any of us.
I had to go no contact with my own mom coz of problems, and not until one no contact of 1½ years and the second time of 8 month did she understand it fully, meaning I had to do it again for ger to get that I fully meant what I said.
I repaired things with my mom before she died a year later of aggressive cancer where I were by her side every day at the hospital (like m6-10 hours despite chronic pain)
So It might help the relationship between them, so that is my advice

I blocked my childhood friend of years because she constantly crossed boundaries, I didn't talk to her for awhile but missed her and thought I was over reacting. Until - 2 days into talking a found out, during that time period, she had picked up my younger brother to "smonk wed" with him (he was 18) and tried to sleep with him! SHE IS 7 YEARS OLDER THAN HIM. I ghosted her again for that, he told me that it was super uncomfortable, she tried coming on to her and he didn't find her attractive on top of he found it weird that she was my friend. She didn't even tell him that her and I stopped talking. She sent him a message how he was her "perfect metal head type". Wtf? She never knew him like that, or hung out with him during our friendship. I feel like she was trying to get petty revenge bc for awhile she was upset with me when we were friends. Pretty much a guy she liked, she found out I had slept with him when I was a freshmen in high school and apparently he still found me attractive. I hated him, their situationship was very toxic...and I was a point of contention because of our "past". I did confront her about these things bc she wouldn't leave me the hell alone, and she tried defending herself with the "situationship" thing, saying she felt insecure. Thats not my problem, I made it clear, I DO NOT LIKE HIM, I HATE HIM. I told her right away when he tried to flirt with me and I laughed at him and blocked him for even trying. When it came to the situation with my lil bro she said "i thought you would be okay with it because I don't judge her for sleeping with guys". I DONT, JUST NOT MY 18 YR OLD BABY BROTHER. Safe to say we stopped talking, and a lot of other people stopped talking to her because of her behavior.

The trick to try for a boy or girl is when you have sex in your cycle. If you do it a few days before ovulation your more likely to have a girl and if you do it right before ovulation or right at ovulation you will be more likely to have a boy. XX chromosone sperm is bigger, slower and live longer. XY chromosone sperm is smaller, faster and dies faster.

I never heard the the first part of story one before. That JNMIL sounds like a wacko. I like the idea of saying increasingly weird shit to stop her from complaining. Before the updates, I thought OP was going to say they were going to raise their kid as trans girl to shut her up.
But onto the updates, the whole situation is just awful. Hearing about how OP's husband's hopes of a normal relationship with his mom die as she told him about how she photoshopped his nose in their wedding photos makes me want to cry on his behalf. And just when he was starting to believe she was changing for the better this happens. But it was for the best. At least MIL won't be able to hurt OP's son the way she hurt her husband. But the whole thing is absolutely devastating, it makes you feel like a worse person from hearing about it.

Streamer teenage kid is an idiot for even being Friends with that diaper sniffer in the first place let alone staying Friends after the 1st inappropriate scenario and after her initial confrontation was so blatantly disrespected. I have ghosted and blocked a plethora of those kind of creeps and feel no guilt at all for it they deserve it they deserve to be behind bars really but they deserve to be away from me and not able to contact me. I did that as a teenage girl I blocked ignored and all that social media wasn't nearly as big as it is now it was pretty big but still not what it is today as its steadily growing bigger Myspace still existed just to give you an idea of how it was.
The fact that social media is so big these days kids are desensitized to these kind of things they can brush them off more easily because they're such open access to all of this kind of treatment and that's crazy because back in the day when I was a teenager we were balls to the wall crazy and would gang up on somebody like this and Bully them into Oblivion if they refuse to leave us alone find legit get all my friends harassing this person and they would stop. I just want to add that behavior is equally as dangerous and I don't condone it. I do however condone the older a kid gets making them more and more aware of how bad things can get this was very mild compared to the worst that could have happened count yourself lucky and take this life lesson and cling to it as if it's your last breath.

Speaking as a (now) woman who was groomed over the internet an embarrassing amount of times (it wasn’t my fault, but that sick feeling in my stomach lingers), there’s a point where almost every girl has to realise; I may be _too nice_ to block him, but he’s making me _too uncomfortable_
It’s actually kind of wild when I meet girls around my age (25) who still message back rando’s to have a conversation when the rando definitely doesn’t want just a conversation… *you don’t have to reply to everyone that messages you because you’re too nice* to ignore them or cut off the conversation when they get scary/gross…because that’s exactly how every instance of my grooming started.

The thing is, we are expected to be "nice" and "people please" all through childhood and into adulthood. If we were allowed to punch someone in the face when someone tried to pressure us into an uncomfortable situation (I'm betting that most women know that I'm talking about the verbal/physical manipulation leading up to a sexual assault) there would people a heck of a lot of people walking around with bruised faces!

I was still living out in verdi nv outside of Reno and approx 1 mile from the California state line when the biggest fire that took quite a while to get under control was due to a gender reveal gone wrong...

Ok, I think this is a new setup, because there is an echo in the video and it is noticible.

Look i know couples that have 11 years age differences and they're probably one of the best matches in my friend group's. However 2 decades plus is probably borderline creepy. Also 40 isn't old wait till you guys reach 30s 😅 you'll realise you're not really an adult in your 20s. I agree 40s is way too old for a 22 year old.

Last story was grooming. This is why children wouldn't be " friends" with adults. They act nice to GROOM YOU!!!! They don't really care about you and what you're going threw. They want what they want and will do anything to get it. That's why you wouldn't talk to grown people men or woman if your a child and don't know them

Definitely a predator. For the last 5 years I've had a guy who asks me out (a customer, not someone I work with). He's married, I'm married, I've said no repeatedly for 5 years! I've blocked his phone number (I made the mistake of giving it to him before Covid happened) so now he randomly shows up in my shops (I move from shop to shop and he doesn't live here, but he and his wife visit several times a year). Ignoring a NO! once is not acceptable. Ignoring multiple NO!s is stalker behavior.
