Loaned one of my faves to a girl in middle school I was close to and she gave it back with tears on the spine and colored pencil marks all over the edges and some of the papers. She’d just shoved it into her art class bag at school, knowing full well she had her purse and backpack where she keeps and protects her own books. Never again did I loan her any of my books. The first story lady is doing it on purpose and should be sued and dumped.

Regarding the first story, I don’t trust that partner at all. I’m very clumsy, but I mainly just get hurt from running into things and if I break something then I do my best to repair or replace it. Besides, some of the issues, such as the sweaters, sounded less like her being clumsy and more like her just ignoring what OP has told her. If she was just clumsy, then the room wouldn’t need to be locked because she’d have some shame after destroying thousands of dollars worth of the OP’s belongings and work to avoid it. There’s no way that she’s so clumsy she can’t help but break all of those things but is perfectly able to avoid ever damaging her own belongings. She sucks and should be paying the OP back. I can’t think of a reasonable justification for her nonsense and the OP should probably leave her.

As someone who lived through an abusive relationship for years, I can say for experience that you walk on eggshells and try not to set them off all the time. I’m inclined not to believe her that the relationship is abusive. But people have over used and misused that word so much that maybe she thinks she’s saying the truth, she just doesn’t understand what she’s saying… or it’s just an excuse to break up…

One scared my friend as she was walking to the parking garage after a night class and there was a big gator walking around there. Rule of thumb is if there’s a body of water big or small, most likely a gator is in it.

Im so clumsy that I break a lot of stuff thats why I only touch MY stuff and never his expensive stuff - or nobody else's, if I break anything like a cup or a vase (which ive done) I replace it with the same thing and if I cant find the same thing you will see me giving you choices even if told "its okay", and if no choice is selected I will select it myself. I cant live with the idea that I broke something that may have been important, I always think how I would feel if someone else had broken it, anyone who would break things and not feel any kind of remorse for it sounds so unhinged to me

Regarding the first story, I don’t trust that partner at all. I’m very clumsy, but I mainly just get hurt from running into things and if I break something then I do my best to repair or replace it. Besides, some of the issues, such as the sweaters, sounded less like her being clumsy and more like her just ignoring what OP has told her. If she was just clumsy, then the room wouldn’t need to be locked because she’d have some shame after destroying thousands of dollars worth of the OP’s belongings and work to avoid it. There’s no way that she’s so clumsy she can’t help but break all of those things but is perfectly able to avoid ever damaging her own belongings. She sucks and should be paying the OP back. I can’t think of a reasonable justification for her nonsense and the OP should probably leave her.
