  • In my last video, I uploaded the first episode of my series 'Baseline To Pro' where I decided it was time to try and live out my childhood dream and try and get my first ATP points.
Since uploaded that video, I have honestly been blown away with the amount of support. In episode two, I explain what it really means to get ATP points and I how plan to do this.
I also reached out to ‪@Simon.Freund‬ to get some advice. He was super busy winning two tournaments but still managed to find some time while he was at the airport to help me out and be in this video. So big thanks to him.

    1: huge serve, huge serveReturn
2: train footwork, everysingle day, movement is the most important thing to become dangerous every single game after Number 1.
2: when ball is just a bit short from opponent, take ball very early and hit where opponent is not , very deeply in the court, keep it simple. since you do number 2, you can jump quick on it.
Speed+ Precision here is Key. too short or too in the middle will not give good results.
3: never give up, seeing every rally as opportunity to improve and do your best, train brain like you train your body, becoming a juggernaut in both.
4: being as professional in court AND off-court, with wallet, food, sleep, treatments, resting.
5: look at the bests and learn.
stick that to your mirror. read it every single day, consistency-discipline is the key to top 100.
Focus improving-execution, not the results. but still, want to win more than anything to battle in match. to surpass yourself you need the will to compete.
    Good luck.

@@haljam8828 when youre tilted in match, try to link Emotion with execution, You want to win, you will execute better, lots of people give up or play worst, but if you understand you want to win you need to play better, then execute better. all about clarity, it goes with improve your mindset. probably the most important thing in tennis. Mindset.

Really kind of Simon to be so generous with his advice! Do you have a coach rn Cameron, and if so what does your coach say about your game?

It was so nice of him to do that! I’ve had a long term coach for a while. An upcoming episode will be me assessing my game and where to improve so keep and eye out for that one 😃

Very good video, it is important to think about the process of improving and staying in the moment rather than the ATP points. You are already a good player, so it is now important to think of yourself as an artist preparing for numerous performances. Your fitness, technique, mental clarity, visual acuity, and coordination can all be enhanced through deliberate practice. It will be a journey well worth taking and an adventure that few are fortunate enough to experience.

One question, how do you find the qualifying events for the ITF Futures events? They dont seem to be as public to find as the main events

    • @camprice99
      @camprice99  6 месяцев назад

I assume you’re referring to the pre qualifying or wild card tournaments? Normally the futures will tell you if there is prequalifying. Or in the UK the progress tour runs utr events that offer wild cards for the winners.
