    I have been trying to train and get myself into shape in between this I have been getting violent sick from my diabetes medication, I feel great one minute and then when I get to the court I get sick as a dog, then I start practicing and I start feeling a little better. I haven’t really shared this information on my channel and I just blame myself for not training harder, but I feel like I’m not being honest with myself and my audience because I don’t want sympathy, but I’m am fighting really hard and I feel like I am getting better. I am sharing this with you, so you can know that your not alone with things happen to people and you become a better man by how you deal with situations when they happen to you. Good luck my friend and keep fighting my dude!

    You sound so unsure. Trust the process, keep working hard and accept a lot of losses in the beginning. Learn from them and become stronger. Tactically in this match (if you felt 100% ok), you should have copied his game and on each 'shorter' bal, you step in and take time away from him, without going full power for the winner. Build up the points better and wait for the right moment to pull the trigger. But you need to feel 100% for that. Keep going!

      @@camprice99 I am aware that this is easier said than done. But you have the level, solid technique, etc. The thing is that on this level, almost all your opponents are also amazing tennis players. My 2 cents; point construction is key for the longer rally's. Don't just put balls back in court, have a plan. For the rest, make sure your serve, return and N+1 ball are solid in order to get some free points here and there. The more competitive matches you will play, the better you will become. Don't underestimate match rythm.

And I trully believe that most matchesare won and lost between the ears and often before you even get to the courts. Through all of my competitive matches over the past 20 years, 5 things matter more than anything else: 1) Mental Strength & the ability to relax and enjoy the match. 2) Movement. 3) Consistency. 4) Serving well 5) Returning well. If I do these 5 things fairly well, I give myself a good chance to win. Keep it simple and good luck for your next tournies! 👊👊👊

    Love your videos man. I have a question. I saw that you did 4 first rounds of qualifying recently. What is in your opinion the root cause? Do you need more matches to get used to competing again? Bad luck in drawing? Technical/Tactical/Mental/...? You're obviously a great tennis player, so it would be great if you could also share your thoughts on what your working points are atm. to reach e.g. main draw of an M15 ITF event. I wish you all the best, go for it!

      Great question! I think it’s probably a mixture of all the things you mentioned. I got a video for each of these tournaments coming out soon where I will go through the matches in more details. But I don’t have all the answers and I’m going to have to try and figure it out as I go along with the channel. My plan is to do more videos on training and keep a closer track of what I’m working on and if that’s helping results or not and use the channel to document it and stay accountable. • @camprice99
      @camprice99 17 дней назад

      Absolutely not. I want to make my videos as authentic as possible. I wish I had some footage to share from this match as there was some really good tennis and lots that I could learn from and improve. I will share it as it is even if that means I continuously lose matches 0 & 0. One of my aims with this channel is to encourage others to chase their dream even when you don’t succeed. After this match, I bought a go pro and annoyingly even with that I had some trouble with over heating which means for a couple matches to come I only have half the match. But towards the end of the summer I was able to fix the problem. So I do have some full length matches to share from tournaments.

      Hey! My advice would be to just go for it! I had the exact same feeling when I was trying to decide whether to start playing itf futures tournaments and I made myself the motto ‘just dive in’. What’s the worst that can happen… you lose 0-6 0-6? So what. As long as you try your best and are doing what you love the result doesn’t matter. Just focus on trying to get a little bit better everyday and try not to worry about what anyone else thinks. Have no regrets.

I know modern British people are no longer polite as you once were but you got to play with a top 10 player! Also Id suggest calling him Andriy Rublev or Mr Rublev NOT Rublev It is disrespectful in most cultures, especially slavic one. Check out other youtubers who get to play with pros. Russians like Grisha come to mind THEY speak in a VERY different manner. ....you ended on a good note. you were more complimentary in your closing :) Sorry if i came across as too coarse

    I was a huge fan of V-Square (17 gauge) up until I wasn’t… lol. I string for my daughter who loves the pocketing and the bite the V-SQR creates on the ball, however, playing in 90-95 degree weather it will stay consistent only for about 2hrs max then the tension will drop significantly. Up until recently I was stringing 2X per week on 2 racquets. This gets old….. our go to is RPM rough and or Lux alu rough but we are still testing alternative setups (less expensive) and fining Solinco Revolution 16L in the mains combined with 18 in the crosses will provide great SnapBack and really good tension maintenance. Will drop tension after the first 30min, then maintain it for about 2X sessions or about 4hrs. (Then I cut it out) Toroline Wasabi w/ Wasabi X is next on our list. PS: having said all this and, after watching your review, I am thinking we should reconsider but this time, try the 16 instead of the 17 gauge…
