You're spot on about this watch mate. I happen to own the dark grey SPB143. When I ordered it I was asking the seller to check the bezel for alignment which they promised to but missed to fulfil. So I ended up returning two copies until I got one that satisfied me. But the timekeeping in the copy I received was way off until I regulated it myself. But now that this is sorted I love that watch! Your white & blue one looks awesome, love how the blue second hand matches the bezel.

Great review and fun commentary. I recommend the z199 bracelet from Uncle Straps. I put this bracelet on my SPB149 and it has been my daily driver for months. Gorgeous combination!

I have the Seiko SBDC055, which is similar to this watch - absolutely beautiful with a garbage bracelet and clasp. I have an Uncle Seiko bracelets for this watch and it is awesome...I also wear on in a Tropic strap which is great as well. - Thank you for another great video.

I used to own this one, unfortunately, that bezel is very seldom teal in color. The light really needs to hit it in a very specific way so for the most part, the bezel appears black

The dial and bezel are just Great but the downs listed in the video make it a no go for me. Many micro brands give you more for less money nowadays.

They're basically the same watch, so I'd go with whichever colour you'd prefer! Personally, I loved this colorway, but I actually think for me, the SPB143 is more versatile and I love the kind of gunmetal tone to the brushed bezel insert, as opposed to a glossy one. But you can't go far wrong - in hindsight I definitely felt like this was a really summery watch
