I know it's Dead End HIP HOP, but little side reviews like this will be welcomed. I am personally glad you guys took time to review this. The Weeknd put out his best work with this album. This has been his year easily. Dominating radio, breaking records, and topping charts. Dope artist.
I won't lie I feel the same way about this album also if you do another Weeknd album review get Big Quint on the video man his love for the Weeknd is endless bruh
Wouldn't make a lot of sense to me because I'm sure big Quint would want to review and weeknd project on his own channel which makes sense, if he did a review with dehh it would just be two big quint reviews which is kinda pointless but I could be wrong
He makes doing drugs and fucking random women seem so casual. Can't feel my face is a song about being high on coke and little girls are singing it. Being able to get your message out and at the same time make it a pop sound, the man is extremely talented. This album is the best thing I heard this year.
Can't feel my face isn't about being high on coke, it's about falling in love with this chick and it feels like being high on coke. "She told me don't worry about she told me don't worry no we both know both can't go with out it she told me we'll never be in love" of course Weeknd talks about avid drug use but he's comparing his love for this chick to being high on coke
+Feefo247 He's basically saying I love coke. I think he's referring to cocaine as a woman. Now while being in love with this woman (cocaine) and his lover, he's battling between the 2 but love them both the same. I really think my boy be talking to the coke.
+Jake MacPherson "I went from staring at the same four walls for twenty one years... to seeing the whole world in just twelve months, been gone for so long I think might've found god....... well"
I still put Trilogy over this. The best songs from Kiss Land combined with the best songs from BBTM woulda been an amazing project. This review definitely swayed my perspective on the album though lol.
+chris zanotti he probably heard the concept of it.. when I listened to it didn't see the concept of the album that feefo mentioned so I can understand
Not one review ive watched ever shows love to As You Are, am i the only one who think that song is genius, especially the way the outro shifts into the minor key and also changes lyrical perspective from As You Are to As I Am....ughhhhhhh soooo good, and the way he croons AS I AM, BABY WONT YOU TAKE ME AS I AS AMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Damn Myke. I am surprised you heard Tell your Friends before Can't Feel My Face. It was everywhere. Then again I live in Toronto, where the Weeknd is from.
+AQGOAT24 I was shocked by this too. I'm Australian and don't listen to the radio like that either but this was everywhere here and online. I heard The Hills the day it came out, first Weeknd track I ever heard then I instantly went and downloaded everything he'd done and fell in love with Trilogy. Then sat back anticipating this album.
+Daniel Pooley did you hear it before it was the hills when it was Mood Music? also, why not show love to Kiss Land? one of the best pieces of work ever made
So dope that you reviewed this, if we're keeping it 100 The Weeknd has killed all his features on rap songs lol. His content is very vivid like hip hop too, top 5 albums this year he killed it!
I remember asking Mike on twitter if they were going to review Echoes of Silence when it first came out, and he replied "I doubt it, I haven't checked it out yet. How good is it?" And here we are today with you guys reviwing this, lol. Glad you guys did this, it's a great album. To me Echoes of Silence is still the best one he did though.
I was hopping you guys would expand and start doing R&B and other genres. I love y'all reviews on Hip-Hop/Rap albums so I was really happy to finally see a R&B review. Dope review fellas.
So pleasantly surprised to see you guys review this on DEHH, I actually commented regarding this album on another DEHH video aimed at Feefo, even more pleasantly surprised to see how much Myke likes The Weeknd. Similarly I had to text my homeboy about this after I heard it. The thing I like most about The Weeknd is his voice, glad Myke brought it up and Feefo cleared up what he meant. Dude is such an amazing singer, his range, the notes he can hit and his falsetto. Great album, great review. A track I don't really hear ppl talk about is Angel, I thought it's a particularly amazing track, such a grandiose way to close off the album. Again, hats off to DEHH and The Weeknd
Never really enjoyed RnB before like that but since I've heard The hills and Cant feel my face on the radio i've been tempted to buy the album, this review made me get round to it. Had it downloading on iTunes as i watched the review. Not the first time u guys have influenced me to buy an artists work either, props guys!
The only thing I disagree with is that ‘Kissland’ wasn’t a cohesive album! Have another listen and reallyyyy listen. It’s such a cohesive story with some of the best musical moments I’ve ever heard, period. This video was awesome, thanks for this!
I am super happy you reviewed this album. I am shocked to see how much Feefo and Myke love this album, but I 100% agree. I would love to see more of the weekend on DEHH
I kind of was doubting the Weeknd after Kiss Land. I haven't heard this new album but after this Review out of nowhere on a R&B album and the word I've heard on it you guys just made me want to go listen to it now. You guys are always on point and honest on every review. I love this channel. Keep it up!!!
Thanks for putting me on to something I normally wouldn't of paid any attention to, appreciated it with a bottle of wine outside in tropical Brisbane Australia. Nice and chilled to head into the city
Daddy would've been better if he decided on a sound. Kissland really sounded like he was torn between making music for mainstream and his cult. But it was a great listen
This is like the best album I've listen to in a while though! This shit was super dope and I can't stop listening to it. That song loser is my favorite and acquainted.
i really like this guy, man.. i was worried that he would sacrifice his music quality after going mainstream but he simply brought that low key vibe with him and he's making waves all around the world with it. he knows how to be successful for the masses while doing that explicit af typa shit that works so well. one can argue that this album is too pop influenced when compared to trilogy and it is but that's not a flaw at all. the production is still inventive for the most part and you're still getting the topics that made house of balloons so unforgettable. plus, this at least has a narrative arc unlike kiss land, which was just boring to listen to. dope review!
+Paul Luna kiss land is pure art what are you talking about? way more cohesive than BBTM. I can listen to BBTM on shuffle and it would be Gucci. you can't listen to Kiss Land on shuffle, from Professional to Tears In The Rain, the album tells a story. I loved the Mixtape era but this era, the Kiss Land era in 2013 was unforgettable, that chapter of XO is something us day one fans will never forget
Damn I wish I could've heard this album without hearing any of the singles beforehand like you guys, I was sick of Cant feel my face, Often and The HIlls by the time this dropped... Great album and Review tho
It's cool to see you guys so passionate about this album. I've been told to check it out by a few people but haven't listened to it yet might as well give it a go.
I respect Feefo's open mindness towards every album he reviews..i gotta agree with Fee & Myke on this one that The Weeknd is a artist not to be fucked with right now coz dat album Beauty Behind The Madness is the best rnb pop album i've heard in a long time ever since Ne-Yo's debut album in 2006..!!
I didn't expect this. I didn't know what was going on when this popped up in my notifications lol. but I love this shit too man. Surprised no one mention "Angel"
I love this dude. My favourite thing about Abel is that he doesn't give a fuck about entertaining you, he's doing him. EVEN at the albums poppiest, Top 40 moments like CFMF and ITN, he's still making endless references to coke and depressing parties. The best thing about a musician or song in general is when it doesn't seem like it's trying to hard to entertain you, THATS what puts The Weeknd worlds ahead of Trey, Chris, etc. Not to mention he's blocked Drake out of the #1 spot for 6 weeks with 'The Hills'. Abel's running music right now, fuck what anyone says.
How you can say that Kiss Land was not cohesive project? This album is front to back great story, great mood and vibe. BBTM has more variety in it's sound when KL is more stable. I know that people don't like KL but in my opinion that album is almost perfect(BBTM is liek 0.1 point behind). The Weeknd can't do a bad project.
Y'all need to review that new album "Malibu" by Anderson .Paak. Badass album. Also, believe it or not I was NOT a fan of this album. House of Balloons is still the only Weekend album that I absolutely love. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for his brand of dark R&B right now. A few songs bet bump though... "Go Tell Your Friends" is my fav track
I haven't watched the review yet so I don't know if y'all said this is a one type thing but I'm Happy that y'all are doing music from other genres. I've always wonder would y'all do this because your opinions mean a lot to me, (y'all have put me on to a lot of music too) so I always wanted to know things like did y'all like Sza album or if y'all still do classic what do y'all think about Erykah Badu's Baduizm album etc. but Thank you!!
This channel is called Dead End HIP HOP, but if an album deserves the praise (like this one), you guys should definitely shine light on it. Let your following in on your hidden gems. Much love
great review glad i watched it. Yup, been a fan since house of balloons. kissland 2nd half of that song adaptation wicked games xo the host he has alot of amazing tracks. his voice is like Sade/The GOAT michael jackson. just a spellbinding voice.
Alright gave this album a listen just because Myke and Feefo both wax lyrical about this album and that struck me as odd. I am glad I gave this album a listen its dope as hell!! I will check out the rest of his catalog later but this right here is fire!
The power of the XO is strong with Feefo and Myke. I feel you!
BRO QUINT AND DEADENDHIPHOP CAN YALL COLLAB WOULD DEF BE DOPE!
My son big quint
+BIGQUINT INDEED Biquint knows what's up
Big Quint in Deed
You need to collaborate with the homies
I know it's Dead End HIP HOP, but little side reviews like this will be welcomed. I am personally glad you guys took time to review this. The Weeknd put out his best work with this album. This has been his year easily. Dominating radio, breaking records, and topping charts. Dope artist.
completely agree
well the weeknd music basically is hip hop its just not rap
Old comment but far from his best work js
@@no1u521 not too far i’d put it at number 3 under trilogy and dawn fm
I won't lie I feel the same way about this album also if you do another Weeknd album review get Big Quint on the video man his love for the Weeknd is endless bruh
Lmaooo yeahhh
That would be the best.
Yooo Big Quint would be perfect 😭
Wouldn't make a lot of sense to me because I'm sure big Quint would want to review and weeknd project on his own channel which makes sense, if he did a review with dehh it would just be two big quint reviews which is kinda pointless but I could be wrong
I didn't see this coming
same
+Braeden Hysuick Glad this did come though.
+manuthePROcrastinator same
+Braeden Hysuick Was a blessing.
Braeden Hysuick But i felt it coming
He makes doing drugs and fucking random women seem so casual. Can't feel my face is a song about being high on coke and little girls are singing it. Being able to get your message out and at the same time make it a pop sound, the man is extremely talented. This album is the best thing I heard this year.

"He's not the most powerful singer, his voice is not gonna blow you away" BULLLLSHIT
"nah bitch i do this OFTEN" lmao. Feefo a fool for that one.
Kiss land wasnt the best album but the 2nd part of the title track is still one of the dopest things he has ever done.
Agreed, Feefo is right in that Kiss Land didn't really feel cohesive, but it certainly has some gems. Pretty is still one of my top Weeknd joints
Agreed 100% I heard it so many times I know the lyrics now
true that 2nd half of kissland was DOOOOOOOPE
+Jake MacPherson "I went from staring at the same four walls for twenty one years... to seeing the whole world in just twelve months, been gone for so long I think might've found god....... well"
+Jake MacPherson John Capenter..YES
I still put Trilogy over this. The best songs from Kiss Land combined with the best songs from BBTM woulda been an amazing project. This review definitely swayed my perspective on the album though lol.
how you let a reveiw change your opion
+chris zanotti he probably heard the concept of it.. when I listened to it didn't see the concept of the album that feefo mentioned so I can understand
me too
I think Trilogy is a close second.
kissland still the best to me
Myke and Feefo always get on each other's heads in the group videos. It's nice to see yall get along.
This was the surprise review? This shit was SURPRISING AS FUCK
DEHH has been on fire lately! Keep it up.
This is probably the most interested and focused I've ever seen feefo in a review
Holy fuck, that song is hands down top 5 abel ❤️
As You Are is so good, it reminded me of Loft Music especially the outro
omfg!!! I thought I was the only one that fell in love with the outro. I just wish it was a little longer
Initiation is one of his best songs imo
+David Mechaly easily best song on the album man, i play it 2 or 3 times a day and i thought the album was pretty poor
"I didn't hear Can't feel my face before this project"....idk how that happens it was literally the biggest song of the summer and maybe the year
Damn Myke. I am surprised you heard Tell your Friends before Can't Feel My Face. It was everywhere. Then again I live in Toronto, where the Weeknd is from.
+AQGOAT24 I don't listen to the radio....
+Myke C-Town I'm a hipster to and I don't listen to the radio and I hate streaming services and still buy vinyl.

Daiton lmaoooooooooo it really does
So dope that you reviewed this, if we're keeping it 100 The Weeknd has killed all his features on rap songs lol. His content is very vivid like hip hop too, top 5 albums this year he killed it!
"Enjoy the fuckin' review"
Lmaooooo
I guess for feefo this shit bumps in the bedroom.

I'm glad y'all reviewed this, definitely wasn't expecting it!

Again, hats off to DEHH and The Weeknd
it's a complete masterpiece, the sound is so varied yet has a common theme. This album will be forever in rotation.

Feefo done quoted the whole goddamn album explaining why he liked it.
Really hope y'all review Raury and Kirk Knight! And thanks for all the uploads lately! Appreciate the hard work
I kind of was doubting the Weeknd after Kiss Land. Feefo and C-Town bond over Weeknd
Thanks for putting me on to something I normally wouldn't of paid any attention to, appreciated it with a bottle of wine outside in tropical Brisbane Australia. Nice and chilled to head into the city
Why are we standing here in the sun when we could be standing back there in the shade...
Wow this is surprising, you guys should review Bryson Tiller Trapsoul

+imsteezy1 That's my shit now!
+imsteezy1 it ok...
Feefo just wanted to give you a shout out that your reviews have improved tremendously. Keep up the good work
Kissland was nice imo
Daddy would've been better if he decided on a sound. Kissland really sounded like he was torn between making music for mainstream and his cult. But it was a great listen
I WAS WISHING Y'ALL REVIEW THIS. Awesome man, keep taking the left turns.
Channel Orange review
Yes!
+Johane Jo Louw Classic review maybe?
+c dean W

+c dean they have like 5 classic reviews lol what makes you think they'd do channel orange before aquemini or midnight marauders
This is like the best album I've listen to in a while though! This shit was super dope and I can't stop listening to it. That song loser is my favorite and acquainted.

It's best for him to combine the elements of this album with the elements of his mixtapes, kiss land was forgettable.
Representin Luke James (not the singer). I always see your comments haha. Funny man
Kiss Land was amazing...
Kiss Land was amazing...

Love all your reviews!!! Keep them coming!! Great job 😊
This is the best review of BBTM I've seen! Great job!
God damn yall i clicked the notification right as i saw it and it already had 24 views when i got here..
glad you guys decided to review this
A weekend review with just myke and feefo?
This should be interesting to say the least😂
I respect Feefo's open mindness towards every album he reviews..i gotta agree with Fee & Myke on this one that The Weeknd is a artist not to be fucked with right now coz dat album Beauty Behind The Madness is the best rnb pop album i've heard in a long time ever since Ne-Yo's debut album in 2006..!!
Thank you guys for reviewing this..
Man y'all been on a roll... I'm so fired up
So glad you reviewed this!!! Even though its not hip hop it just had to be reviewed
Glad you guys reviewed this. Definitely one of my favorite albums of the year.
Keep expanding the content of this channel.
I didn't expect this. I didn't know what was going on when this popped up in my notifications lol. but I love this shit too man. Surprised no one mention "Angel"
It's nice to see Myke geek out over an album.
Wow I'm so happy you guys reviewed this!! I loved this album so much & I agree with feefo I didn't like kissland too much but this one is sooo good
I'm a BIG fan of the Weeknd I'm glad you guys reviewed this album. Thank You.
did not see this review coming, Im kinda happy they done it, and I do love this album as well !!!
Can't front. Weeknd and Jay Rock's albums have been getting heavy rotation in my car since they both dropped.
Hold in wait a minute let me put some season in this Guuummbbooooo.....paaw paaw paaw paaw
I'd love to see an FKA Twigs or Clarence Clarity review
thanks for reviewing this guys
After Hours review needed now!!
I love this dude. My favourite thing about Abel is that he doesn't give a fuck about entertaining you, he's doing him. EVEN at the albums poppiest, Top 40 moments like CFMF and ITN, he's still making endless references to coke and depressing parties. Abel's running music right now, fuck what anyone says.
I wonder if the dream would have been a bigger artist if he kept 'baby', 'umbrella', 'single ladies' .. etc for himself
Y'all should be dehh+frankocean&weeknd !! Super cool seeing you guys review this!
Great review, guys! This album is dope as hell!
I liked Kiss Land. But Beauty Behind The Madness is a Flawless album. Weeknd knew he had to step it up...He did his thing on this album #Salute to XO
DO THESE MORE OFTEN PLEASE!!!!
"Go Tell Your Friends" is my fav track
in "I Can't Feel My Face" he is talking about coke not a girl
I kinda think it's one of those double meaning things
The best he's done? I agree its amazing but those mixtapes are flawless, they're just late to the show and his talent
take yall time for starboy haha dont rush! would be dope if yall did another one!
Big up! :D
Thank you RUclips notifications 🙌🏻
I haven't watched the review yet so I don't know if y'all said this is a one type thing but I'm Happy that y'all are doing music from other genres. I've always wonder would y'all do this because your opinions mean a lot to me, (y'all have put me on to a lot of music too) so I always wanted to know things like did y'all like Sza album or if y'all still do classic what do y'all think about Erykah Badu's Baduizm album etc. but Thank you!!
Yall should do more albums doesn't have to be hip hop i fuck with this! Keep doing yall!
This channel is called Dead End HIP HOP, but if an album deserves the praise (like this one), you guys should definitely shine light on it. Let your following in on your hidden gems. Much love
I'm glad Mike and feefo review this album the weeknd
Recently listened to some songs of this album. Without a doubt the best R&B album this year. Favourite songs are Aquainted & Tell Your Friends.
Thumbs up! Keep sharing your thoughts guys.
Woah Feefo's breakdown of the tracklist was dope.
Dope review guys
I really like this review, this was really entertaining.
great review glad i watched it. Yup, been a fan since house of balloons.
kissland 2nd half of that song
adaptation
wicked games
xo the host
he has alot of amazing tracks.
his voice is like Sade/The GOAT michael jackson. just a spellbinding voice.
Probably the best review I heard from feefo yet
D'Angelo - Black Messiah
a feefo kinge Underachievers album review would be dope as hell
I hope you guys make a review on Starboy. I'm really curious on what your opinions will be.
Where the hell is bigquint!! 3 reviewers enjoying the weeknd!
I see why people fuck with him but I can't mess with it
Alright gave this album a listen just because Myke and Feefo both wax lyrical about this album and that struck me as odd. I am glad I gave this album a listen its dope as hell!! I will check out the rest of his catalog later but this right here is fire!
XO TOOK OVER 2015
Fav part of the review, Feefo at 4:00
Myke look like a 40 year old Travis Scott
I'm fine with this it shows that u listen to more than just hip hop. I say keep up with some R&B reviews here and there it's awesome good review
i didn't realize the story aspect of this album until feefo brought it up.
Not saying this is an odd pairing, but.... Lol. Y'all should do more together, plus do The-Dream throwback reviews!✌🏾️
I'm just watching to see what Myke has to say lmfaoo I did not see this review coming at all.
