Such a relief that I passed about a month ago. I had a great driving coach that helped me. I had one more try and I passed with just 4 errors. My driving test instructor was also very nice and gave a good atmosphere, but it's true that practice makes perfect. My driving coach put me in real life conditions meaning lots of traffic lol. He took me to my DMV on the day of my test, he let me drive there, and he told me after I passed that he knew I was going to pass based on how relaxed I was. I did mine's in LA at the Compton DMV near Santa Fae. Everyone who is having lots of nerves, really practice. It does help. Even just 20 minutes of practice each day helps. And there is always room for improvement. Good luck everyone and drive safe! This channel is very great for starters and even veterans at driving because there is something you can always learn. i found this channel on my third attempt and studied the videos and it helped me. Lots of small tips and rules I never realized that helped me passed.
I got my driver's license a week ago in the mail. Prior to that, I've been watching videos posted on this channel a lot, practiced enough and as a result passed the road test (first time 🎉)
Frankly speaking, it was nerve-racking taking the road test with someone beside you judging your every move, but that didn't hinder my driving abilities whatsoever and I passed the test with flying colors. It still feels surreal, how quick i managed to pass the permit test to the road test in less than 2 months.I'll still be watching this channel as there is room for improvement.

I got my license a few months ago. It was a long drive, and I was tired. I was so nervous that I was gonna fail, but the thing is, I know what I've must do to pass my test, so I followed what I've done for my 6 hour behind the wheel. After my test was done, I passed my test. I was so happy.
Don't be nervous, be confident, stay calm drive safety, take a breath, drive smoothly and be cautious, GOODLUCK TO YOU ALL!

I passed my test Yesterday, I tip that I have for everyone is to practice the routes at your local dmv to get a feel for the roads. Also remember try not to get too nervous. I was a bit nervous also but don’t let it get out of control and you will do fine

Its so satisfying being able to watch these without the stress of another upcoming attempt. My best advice is to remain calm and focus very very hard on your slow speed maneouvers as in create a formula or step by step process in your mind on how to do them succssesfully and practice them daily. These videos also helped me a lot to calm my nerves. Dont focus on your examiner or their attitude ive had my share of terrible examiners and it their attitude can weight heavy on you and hinder your abilites. I was the first test of the day on my final attempt and I got an excellent examiner who really helped me stay focused and relaxed. Above all else pray, pray, pray youll get it as long as you stay on top of it no matter how many attempts. Drive safe yall (:

1/9/24 I barely passed my driving test in Sandiego. The trick to pass is to not have any critical errors. One can make as many as 14 other errors out of 15 like me and can still get the license. Good luck all!
The critical errors are the obvious ones right? Like dont go over or under the speed limit, stop at a stop sign, dont hit the curb etc.
@@FeverFoalso don’t yield or stop if there isn’t a yield or stop sign, don’t turn wheels when barely reaching an intersection (it’s a hazard mostly) and don’t get the instructor to intervene or else it can be a deduction or an emergency immediate fail

Wednesday the 15th is my test 😅 Wish me luck! I'm nervous. I really, really want to get my driver’s license. It’s an important milestone, but I am also trying not to put too much pressure on the first try.
Edit: Update! I PASSED!!! Only missed 4 points, it helps that I live in a small town, it was scheduled during the morning, and the lady who tested me was fairly nice and I was calm with her in the car.
For anyone taking your driving test soon, it's not as bad as you think. So don't let nerves get the better of you! I advise driving before the test around a half hour to warm up. Get some food in your stomach even if it's just a couple of spoonfuls. I had some peppermint candy beforehand which I hear helps settle a nervous stomach. Most importantly believe in yourself, breathe and remember it's okay if you don’t pass the first try, just be safe!

I passed today! I failed Monday though because my nerves got the best of me 😢 I ran a stupid stop sign lol it was greyed out and in my overthinking brain, I was like “that’s for the traffic on the other street because that’s the back of the sign” 😢😂 I was super nervous.. and I’m a really good driver too! To do that hurt my self esteem ha but I’m thankful I got another shot so soon, I took ashwagandha gummies to calm my nerves and it helped me so much! Also ate a banana on the way there (helps produce feel good hormones!) and took a Neuro ps! All natural too.
What also helped was talking to her. I told her I went back to look and it was obviously a stop sign, and that I was so nervous to pass. She said I wasn’t the first to do that too! Damn stop sign lol but I said I was going to think of it as I’m taking her to work and she said yeah! I’m her Uber driver lol I think that mindset helped a lot too! ❤ I hoped this helped anyone with crazy test nerves like me 🥺 if you do fail due to nerves, you’re not a bad driver, you just made a mistake. Keep trying! If ashwagandha doesn’t help, there’s relora, or I’ve read rescue remedy helped others! Or there’s calming teas like chamomile, lavender, passion flower.. whatever works best! (NOT saying to take all together, also be careful to make sure what suits best for you because I read ashwagandha could affect some medications like if you’re taking a blood thinner or something like that, research what will work for you!) ALSO! Chewing gum during test helps. And I put on chill old school music at like volume 5 and that also helped so much! Good luck ❤

Hey I had my test on the 14th, and I gotta say that watching all of these video's really helped because I learned what to do, and what not to do in each scenerio. Thankfully I passed with only 1 mistake, and I did so because I had a great instructor, and these great videos like these too.

When it comes to backing up the car, are we allowed to use our side mirrors? Cuz at least for me, I use both my back and side mirror but I have a bad habit of looking at my side mirror a bit more. Would I get marked down for that?

Are you allowed to straighten out your car when parking, for example, when pulling into a spot, reversing to ensure your directly between the lines. Thanks, just want to make sure I don't mess up a parking job because I decided not to straighten out

I haven’t gotten my license yet and failed my first driving test. But anyway, what I would probably do as I am approaching where there’s a pedestrian on the right, I will slow down, signal turn left, perform SMOG, then, as the examiner change mind to turn right, stop first, signal right turn, perform SMOG, then slowly move near the curb then stop while keeping right turn signal on. Perform SMOG again and turn right when it’s safe.
Please do let me know if this is the right way or wrong way to do it. I still got a lot of things to learn.

what i did correctly was everything except, make full stops behind limit lines. That could mean that I didn’t stop before the line or I did little stops before actually stopping, two I did not leave enough space between vehicles, three I needed to be more centered in the lanes, and make sure I pay attention to those who have right away. A big honorable mention do not go over the speed limit and don’t go less that 10 miles, for example if the limit is 50 don’t go below 40mph

I have two quesstions.
1. When backing up, do you have to look over your shoulder into the rear view mirror or can you just use the rear view camera and mirrors?
2. When doing lane changes, do I have to look over my shoulder every single time, even if there are few cars on the road?

Most examiners will tell you not to use the backup camera, so you should use your mirrors and look behind you when backing up. Even if there are very few cars on the road, you should always check your blind spot.

Some say Haywards dmv is tougher than Fremont. Any idea? I’ve chosen 2pm😮 which is school closing time😢 My friend got failed due to slow driving around school area that too there were children who were crossing roads here n there. It could be a nightmare for us who are already nervous.

You will pass as long as you care about being a safe driver. If you don’t care, please don’t drive as driving can really hurt you or someone else.
I didn’t see the whole video, but if you need to readjust your parallel parking, do not do so while another car is coming, I would have failed him for that part.

@@maxc6977 i think as long as ur behind the stop sign line then ur good, and the examiner will tell u the speed limit if its not posted; generally residential areas are 25mph and the busy areas are 35-40mph
