Watching these after getting my license is crazy. YOU CAN DO THIS. I failed my first test because of nerves. It's never too late, and if you fail, don't get discouraged. ❤️
@@sushisoon1420 Take your test mid-week where you live. Try to estimate when traffic won't be as bad (try to avoid rush hours, lunch breaks etc). I took mine on a Wednesday at 2PM. Also, don't tell them you're nervous, just try to be kind and confident - I got lucky and my instructor didn't mind me talking to her here and there on the drive but I understand that doesn't happen for everyone. Pay attention to speed, in my scenario I went 26 in a 25 and got 2 points docked. Easy stuff like that can be the diff between pass and fail. Other than that, the best tip is to practice practice practice and test in a car you know really well. Good luck 👸❤️
After my first two fails I came to realize that the test drive seem to be a business for the state, the evaluators purposely fail is because when we re-apply it lines their pocket. Luckily for me I got information about a private dmv agent who could help get my license without taking the test, it can be a provisional license or the official one but all the same I got the provisional license which will serve for 1 year then I renew again. sigh. Now I just watch videos to improve my skills.

I got my license yesterday, I failed first try. Don’t watch these failing videos, they will make you extremely nervous. I passed second time because I watched passing videos.
@@yashi273 thank you yes I try to stick to mostly passing videos. I see my instructor a lot and starting to feel really ready. Only nervous about reverse parking
So I had my road test and I passed! My advice is calm your nerves( easier said than done) and make sure you check your mirrors ! Thanks road test success !!!!
I had a retake August 9, I passed with two errors only. I just watched your videos the whole time after I failed my first attempt. Thank you to all your usefull videos
I have my test on September 23 at 9:10am, im super nervous and binge watching these videos and practicing Hopefully I pass! UPDATE: I passed !! 🎉 Some tips for you guys: -make your head movements obvious to your instructor when you’re checking your mirrors and over your shoulder. Do this at every intersection! -Don’t forget to signal when you’re pulling up to the curb and pulling away from it! I got docked a point because I used my signal when pulling away from it but not pulling up to it -make sure you’re watching your speed and looking for speed limit signs on the posts or on the markings on the road Good luck everyone!!
Did my driving test today and passed on my first attempt! Made only 5 errors total (but IMO I did only three, so be SURE that you are checking mirrors/shoulder the OBVIOUS way, because they might not notice). One of my mistakes was when I was at the intersection, I didn't look properly and I THOUGHT it was unprotected left turn while in fact, there was another green light with an arrow below (stupid mistake but took me only like three seconds to realize what's going on and go). The second mistake was that I wasn't exactly sure what was the speed limit at that street. The we drove at first was 55, but this one I didn't drive on before and there were no signs. She asked how fast am I driving, and I thought "shit" I'm driving too fast (was at 45 mph) and moved my foot from the pedal which slowed me to 42 :'D That gave me a note that I was only 42 on 50 street. I lost a point for that but if I drove 55 I would have failed the test for going over the limit. Lastly, there was some weird situation with a car that pulled out of the street but stopped moving??? So I went around it and it probably gave me yield reduction (Not sure about that). Otherwise, it was pretty easy. I was nervous as hell. Two cans of diet Dr Pepper gave me the necessary strength. :'D Know hand signals, know where to find stuff like headlights, defrost, emergency lights/breaks, etc. LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER when changing lanes or turn. Signal first, check mirrors, look over your shoulder, start turning and DONT SLOW DOWN. When I knew what this speed limit is, I kept it about 5 under just in case. Didnt want to fail it for something stupid (wasn't sure if she would fail me for a bit over, better not risk it). Three days before the test, I went there and practiced for about an hour. This DMV was pretty tight and you have to do a left turn parking, so I tried that a bit there too after they closed just so I have a feel for that space (didnt want to ruin it at the end of the test lol).
my test was at a weird time, because of covid back when I took it, they only made us demonstrate parking/signals while they stood from a distances watching. I didn't even take a proper road test and got my temporary license that day.
passed today, only had 1 lesson well about 2 years ago, no family or friends wanted to help. Wish I had more support but hey sometimes you gotta do it alone.
You have sone good survivial fight to pass your test, you should be very proud of yourself but I certainly understand how important it is to have support . You could have gone to driving school of course; or hiring an instructor. I'm not a fan of cars and driving but I had eventually got it done out of necessity. Today people drive like they are sick in the head and unsympathetic. So be careful and DON'T BE ONE OF THEM! Have fun lol
Today I passed my drivers test! Thank you so much for all the amazing driving/driver test advice, it really helped keep me calm and helped me feel well prepared. Keep up the great content! Thanks
Anyone who got a driving test coming up, you got this!! I passed on my first try. Focus on you’re surroundings and the instructor and you will do good!! Wish you guys luck 🍀 🙏
I was watching a bunch of RTS videos last week preparing for my test yesterday and I passed. This was my 3rd attempt. My biggest problem was my NERVES and they still didn’t go away! I was anxious all through but what beats that is practice.. kind of like muscle memory. If you expose your brain to the same thing over and over it adapts. Watch these videos attentively and drive every day exactly as you would on the day of the test. Nerves or not, you’ll pass.
I passed in June this year I failed the first time because I was nervous and took my hands off the wheel, but a week later I did the test again and passed with only 3 minor mistakes.
My test is on 9/13 @2:00pm !! Very nervous, I hope I pass! Wish me luck ! UPDATE: I PASSED YAY!!! Please make sure you are head checking and shoulder checking! It honestly can have a big effect on your results! Be confident and watch these videos you will pass!! ❤️
I wanted to say thank you so much road to success, I just passed my dmv test at Culver City with 0 mistakes🎉. Always being aware of my surroundings and using my nervous to make me even more alert!!!
I agree that he should not fail because of over 5km/h. He would only be taken some points. I also agree with you about other errors he made. The yellow light at @11:48 would not be a problem because he was moving very close to the intersection and it was safe to move on. On my test, I lost points because of low speed.
If you pause it at 11:44 you can see the light is yellow while he is still behind the white line in that case your suppose to stop because during a road test a yellow light means the same thing as a red light
Idk why I randomly started watching these videos but that tester is awful. How are you going to give a critical error for 5 over but miss the blocking a crosswalk lmfao? Terrible at his job damn.
i realized this place looked so familiar lol. this test is in MB, Canada. here going over the speed limit is an automatic fail, not a deduction. its actually recommended that we drive 5-10km/h under the speed limit on the road test
I passed it 2 days ago on my first try. Even the examiner told me after the test that I’m a good driver. I felt so happy cause I dedicated a lot of time in order to be better prepared for the test, and to see this payed off is a good feeling.
Came here to say I passed. Very easy, nothing to be too concerned or worried about at all. Maintain your cool, stay calm under pressure, drive like y’all always have. Edit: Y’all feel free to ask me anything!
@@vova2281 Parraell parking (2 attempts) reverse parking (1 attempt) then we left the dmv, i had to do a left turn on a divided road, then we went through a neighborhood, made a couple right hand turns and then back to the dmv. And ofc you’ll have to make at least 1 lane change. The drive test was just about 5 min for me. Edit: YES i expected all of these maneuvers except for the turn across a divided road
Whew I just passed my test here in San Francisco, I was able to get a six hours sleep before. While there I got a very cool instructor which made me relaxed and before I knew it the test was over. Good luck with your test for those who are looking to get their license you got this.
On a UK driving test, you must drive only AT the speed limit. If the speed limit is 40mph, you must NOT hover at 41 or else its a straight fail (a serious fault, which is the equivalent of critical driving error). If you do end up at 41, but slow down to 40, you may get away with a minor (similar to points deduction)
If anyone is interested in the location, this takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). Great video btw! This shows the importance to pay attention to your speed on all stages of the road test
i've got my test tomorrow at 3, super nervous LOL, gonna keep binge watching these videos to try and get prepared, will update on if i pass or not :) UPDATE: I PASSED FIRST TRY :D thank you for making these videos they helped a lot!!
took my test today for the first time, I passed and made only one error. I was too close to a dumpster truck which could have been easily avoided but I was nervous and didn't notice to leave a larger space. One thing I would suggest is making sure to practice around the testing area! You can do it :D
Congrats! I passed mine with first attempt 5 months ago and almost failed because the yellow light came on when I was about to go through the green light turning left
5:55 is it right to do that what that car in front did? Like skip over one lane cuz I’m pretty sure you have to turn into closest lane and then change lanes…
Question: people say it’s better to wait for the light to turn green when making a right turn, in this case, do I merge into the bike lane and wait there? What if the car behind me that’s going straight decided to stop parallel to me (two rows of cars in one lane), will that be considered an error?
You wait on the bike line matter of fact you need to merge in 200 ft by the broken lines on the bike line to turn right that way the bike wouldn’t collide on your car and would know you’re turning right if the other car didn’t merge in on the bike lane patiently wait for his turn then you creep in for your turn
My road test is on December 22nd and I’m so excited. I’m not nervous because I’m practicing every day until the test. I’m also in North Carolina as well.
What is considered a “critical error” you see happens like 5 times per minute on the road. Also, turn on yellow? Yellow does not mean stop, that’s what red is for. If he would have stopped on yellow, even though it’s “technically” allowed, it’s still dangerous. Lots of rear ends happen because someone hesitates at an intersection, confusing the cars behind them. I get you’re pointing out potential errors, I’m not criticizing you. Just saying the drivers tests are way too nit-picky. It’s probably why everyone is so nervous, you can get marked wrong on something a normal person doesn’t even consider an error.
yellow actually means “slow down and prepare to stop” or “stop unless unsafe to do so” You should stop at a yellow light unless it would cause significant danger to you or others, like a rear end crash.. you don’t just continue through because “red is only for stop”
@@dorothrrystyles9403 yellow means the light is about to turn red. It is against the law to drive through a red light. It is not against the law to drive through a yellow light. Nothing about what I said was incorrect. “Unless unsafe to do so” in your words, would apply to what happened in the video. He had already crossed the solid line by the time the light turned yellow or at least could react to it being yellow, thereby making it “unsafe to do so”
When I passed, the instructor told me to go inside the DMV building and I got a piece of paper for temporary licence before they mail actual one which came approx 2 weeks later i think. And that temporary paper licence is licence lets u drive
I passed like weeks ago, and Uh I did learn some nice tips and habits from this channel, my test was completely different than these, I paralleled pulled to a neighborhood demonstrated curb parking and up hill went back to the dps. Anyways thanks a bunch for road test. Gonna miss these days
I have a question for you... I'm preparing for my road test, going to get my 5h course as soon as possible, but my question is which part of the test was hardest? Which part made you the most nervous?
Hey! Did you notice that he was speeding 5mph higher than the speed limit of the road without a speedometer? Too bad for you! You should have guessed that he was driving faster than allowed on this road!
I failed twice already for dumb critical errors on my part 1st i was speeding, second i lane switched on a left turn but i crossed hard double yellow and striped lane since traffic was blocking the entrance to it 🤦🏽♂️ third attempt tomorrow
Yellow lights in Canada technically means stop if you safely can stop do it unless someone is close behind you they could rear end you, go through that yellow light ! I got dinged for that it isn’t critical here also I didn’t stop fully on a yellow turning right you have to stop fully treat it as a red light turning right
@Audrey reincke i know its been said so many times over but it really comes down to practicing all the possible maneuvers they'll have you do and to be as calm as possible when driving! if you practiced your maneuvers and practiced driving itself, then you should have no problem realistically as long as you dont get in your own head. good luck! you can do it!
I just passed but thought I might have failed. In NY they don't tell you right there if you passed or failed and make you wait till 6 pm. I was doing pretty good besides a minor mistake until I got to the end and I couldn't straighten out the car in the spot. Eventually I got it and passed 😁.
"Don't block the block" (and also pedestrian crossings) is nearly never obeyed here in NYC. I get horns as hell from the driver behind when I keep the crossing free despite having green light but if I would drive in I would block a pedestrian crossing or the crossing itself. I don't care the horns. I wait.
I failed today for going 26mph in a 25 school zone sign saying 25 when children are present. And right before the school zone sign the speed limit sign was like 20 feet before and it was 35mph I tried to slow it down and there were no children present schools are closed for the summer and yet I still failed ??
I didn't fail, I passed but I was marked for almost something entirely different lol. I was marked for going too slow in school zones... because there weren't any children so I shouldn't have gone at the 25mph limit but instead 35... completely hard to understand
@@r4tris1ng I passed as well but I was going around 18-20mph in a residential and during the regular roads I was good but he said if I went any slower I would've failed the test, but honestly I was doing it because I thought that it would be better to go a little slower during the driving test 😭

I got my license yesterday, I failed first try. Don’t watch these failing videos, they will make you extremely nervous. I passed second time because I watched passing videos.
@@yashi273 thank you yes I try to stick to mostly passing videos. I see my instructor a lot and starting to feel really ready. Only nervous about reverse parking
good luck!! you sound very prepared.
So I had my road test and I passed! My advice is calm your nerves( easier said than done) and make sure you check your mirrors ! Thanks road test success !!!!
Great job!
I had a retake August 9, I passed with two errors only. I just watched your videos the whole time after I failed my first attempt. Thank you to all your usefull videos
Great job!
i passed my test first try. The test is way easier than people try to make it seem be cautious and drive smoothly. Good luck 🍀
Congrats!!
I have my test on September 23 at 9:10am, im super nervous and binge watching these videos and practicing Hopefully I pass!
UPDATE: I passed !! 🎉
Some tips for you guys:
-make your head movements obvious to your instructor when you’re checking your mirrors and over your shoulder. Do this at every intersection!
-Don’t forget to signal when you’re pulling up to the curb and pulling away from it! I got docked a point because I used my signal when pulling away from it but not pulling up to it
-make sure you’re watching your speed and looking for speed limit signs on the posts or on the markings on the road
Good luck everyone!!
good luck!! 🍀🍀
I Passed!!! My test was today aug 2, 2022!!!!! Only got two errors!!!!!!!!!
had it just an hour ago, watched some of your videos the night before and got a 100%!!
Know hand signals, know where to find stuff like headlights, defrost, emergency lights/breaks, etc.
Wish I had more support but hey sometimes you gotta do it alone.
what helped u prepare im just like u
Thanks
I passed mine today also
@@Manifestwithjoss Congrats!
Great job Lucas! Wishing you many years of safe driving!
I've had my license for 2 years but these vids still make me nervous lol
I got my license years ago but looking at these still brings me anxiety from when I took my first road test. Glad I passed the first try tho😂
SO Glad to hear you passed - great advice! Congrats!!
I have cleared my test today in the first attempt. I took only 3 classes rest of the learnings are from this channel.
I passed in June this year I failed the first time because I was nervous and took my hands off the wheel, but a week later I did the test again and passed with only 3 minor mistakes.
took mine yesterday after alot of anxiety, but I passed with 6 errors! fairly easier than I expected
Good luck!
I wanted to say thank you so much road to success, I just passed my dmv test at Culver City with 0 mistakes🎉. Always being aware of my surroundings and using my nervous to make me even more alert!!!
(First attempt!)
taking my 2nd test on the 23rd of August. Hope i pass, i’ve been watching these videos to help me. I appreciate your work!
Good luck!!
Sending you luck
good luck man
Did you pass
Passed on my first try today, y'all can definitely pass too. Thank you RTS for your amazing videos (:
Great job!
I think we all noticed a error around 7 mins. (Stopped on Pedestrian Walkway)
Thank you so much for making these videos. I’ve watched so many and passed my test yesterday!
Great job! Congrats!!
I passed my test today with 8 hours of practicing. 🎉
this channel helped me so much thank you :))
I was hella nervous but it was alright 😅
I passed my test on the first try this past Saturday haven’t had lessons since October haven’t drove since October
I passed it 2 days ago on my first try. Even the examiner told me after the test that I’m a good driver. I felt so happy cause I dedicated a lot of time in order to be better prepared for the test, and to see this payed off is a good feeling.
Holy this is the place where I’m gonna do my road test tomorrow. Hopefully I pass 🙏🙏🙏
How was your test ?
@@raggeff I passed with a perfect score 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I PASSED my test today!! Thank you for the tips and videos!
I cannot express my relief that I finally got my driving test done, with points deducted for shoulder checks, thats all!
Shoutout to road test success!!!⭐️ I passed my driving test today and secured my license. The videos REALLY helped🙌🏽
Great job!
Came here to say I passed. Very easy, nothing to be too concerned or worried about at all. Maintain your cool, stay calm under pressure, drive like y’all always have.
Edit: Y’all feel free to ask me anything!
what maneuvers did you do? did you expect them on your driving test?
@@vova2281 depends on your state, look it up.
Great job Evan - Congrats!!
@@Evan-ph7jh Your test was only like 5 mins?! I hope my test will be that short.
Whew I just passed my test here in San Francisco, I was able to get a six hours sleep before. While there I got a very cool instructor which made me relaxed and before I knew it the test was over. Good luck with your test for those who are looking to get their license you got this.
Just passed today after an imperfect but never dangerous run!! Don't overthink it, trust that you know the fundamentals, and you'll do great.😃
that examiner needs to find another job cause I've seen worse & people still pass.
This shows the importance to pay attention to your speed on all stages of the road test
i've got my test tomorrow at 3, super nervous LOL, gonna keep binge watching these videos to try and get prepared, will update on if i pass or not :)
UPDATE: I PASSED FIRST TRY :D thank you for making these videos they helped a lot!!
Good luck
Best of luck
good luck to ye mate! hope ye sail on through to success sailor!
took my test today for the first time, I passed and made only one error. I was too close to a dumpster truck which could have been easily avoided but I was nervous and didn't notice to leave a larger space. One thing I would suggest is making sure to practice around the testing area! You can do it :D
I passed my test on the third try, this time at a different dmv. Trusted my experience and let go of the nerves, and the rest took care of itself
My test is today at 3:00
Congratulations , I'm also on my last try as well .
Congrats! I passed mine with first attempt 5 months ago and almost failed because the yellow light came on when I was about to go through the green light turning left
bruh my test is this Friday and I'm hella nervous. The amount of road test video's I've watched this month alone is wild
Mine is too! You've got this, you believe yourself and I'll believe in me. It'll be a piece of cake
if i can do it you can do it
There was another critical error, his lane change was kind of in an intersection at 12:45
5:55 is it right to do that what that car in front did? Like skip over one lane cuz I’m pretty sure you have to turn into closest lane and then change lanes…
It would be an error as far as I’m aware
Technically the car is wrong but everyone still does it.
I test was supposed to be today but got canceled so hopefully tomorrow I take it!! I’m confident
I passed!!! It really wasn’t too bad at all
My birthday is April 23rd and that’s the day of my drivers test. I’m nervous but I’m a really good driver and I’m just anxious lol. Wish me luck!
You got this!
Dude same my test is April 23
Did you pass?
Watching this video before my road test, good luck to you all!
Same. Tell me if you pass and I’ll tell you if I did
Same here 22 Dec. In wisconsin with lots of snow wish you luck

Thank youu! I passed! 🎉🎉
I did mine yesterday May 1 2024
Passed first try👏🏻
He had already crossed the solid line by the time the light turned yellow or at least could react to it being yellow, thereby making it “unsafe to do so”
I passed my road test on wednesday on the first try!! Now i can watch these videos just for entertainment 😁
Do we get our license right after our behind the wheel test if we passed? I’m having mine next week monday on April 3. Please let me know thank you.
When I passed, the instructor told me to go inside the DMV building and I got a piece of paper for temporary licence before they mail actual one which came approx 2 weeks later i think. And that temporary paper licence is licence lets u drive
Please let us know how you did today! I’m confident you passed!
at 5, 18 , he changed line at intersection , i think its an error right?
He almost changed lanes at the intersection. I would say he did it before the intersection, so it would be fine for him.
I passed like weeks ago, and Uh I did learn some nice tips and habits from this channel, my test was completely different than these, I paralleled pulled to a neighborhood demonstrated curb parking and up hill went back to the dps. Anyways thanks a bunch for road test. Gonna miss these days
My test was today and I passed with no point deductions!!!
Wow - Great Job!
Yes same here wish me luck

Update : passed with one error 🙏
Yellow lights in Canada technically means stop if you safely can stop do it unless someone is close behind you they could rear end you, go through that yellow light ! I got dinged for that it isn’t critical here also I didn’t stop fully on a yellow turning right you have to stop fully treat it as a red light turning right
I passed my road test on the first try on 6/16/2023. I had a very rude driving instructor
My examiner was awesome but the u know
So even with the bike lane White line being solid I still have to get into it to turn right?
yes and usually at least in california you can enter the bike lane no more than 200 feet within your turn
I just passed today on my first try. These videos helped calm my nerves so much thank you for making them
@Audrey reincke i know its been said so many times over but it really comes down to practicing all the possible maneuvers they'll have you do and to be as calm as possible when driving! if you practiced your maneuvers and practiced driving itself, then you should have no problem realistically as long as you dont get in your own head. good luck! you can do it!
I just passed but thought I might have failed. In NY they don't tell you right there if you passed or failed and make you wait till 6 pm. I was doing pretty good besides a minor mistake until I got to the end and I couldn't straighten out the car in the spot. Eventually I got it and passed 😁.
Edit: Passed 1st T! You just have to stay calm and trust yourself, whatever happens happens. Yall got this!
got mine tmrw at 10 am

Thanks everyone! My test is in about an hour! Hope I pass
Just passed my test today
"Don't block the block" (and also pedestrian crossings) is nearly never obeyed here in NYC. I get horns as hell from the driver behind when I keep the crossing free despite having green light but if I would drive in I would block a pedestrian crossing or the crossing itself.
I don't care the horns. I wait.
Good defensive driver
This test was in Manitoba (Canada). Even 5 kms above speed limit is grounds for failure.
I PASSED!!! I can finally relax and not freak out anymore

@@kevenayala4932have you considered skipping the test drive?
