This was probably the most memorable episode for me up to this point, the first time I watched the show. Seeing the Night's Watch pull a mutiny, seeing Dany pull a uno reverse on the Masters, Varys' backstory with the sorcerer... Every scene in this episode was fire lol.
7:34 This is my absolute favorite Varys moment and it made me more frightened of him than Littlefinger because the patience it took that man to cultivate the position and resources required to reach across an ocean to another continent just to snatch up the man who hurt him as a child is diaf******bolical. 😨

Cersei is a very interesting character. She basically tries to cosplay as Tywin, expecting everyone to do as she says because....loyalty? Anyone who doesn't agree with her is a traitor and she is disrespectful even to her allies.
Tywin actually makes sure that his allies are rewarded, and is very diplomatic with his rivals. He understands that blind loyalty doesn't exist and you have to give people what they want (status, wealth etc).
For example, the Tyrells are NOT a problem, they are useful. Cersei is just mad.
When you started thumping your staff along with the unsullied 🤣 your reactions crack me up. Its fun watching you get so amped at all the epic moments of this show
Laughed hard when Craster told the Night's Watch to get bent and Barry's like, "That's it? Nothing's going to happen?" I thought, "Keep watching."
I actually loved Karl Tanner. He never said a word when all the men were debating for days. He just made up his mind, probably at the funeral, that he was going to take control of the entire situation. No warning - just going to do it. Evil or not, in that moment, he was the Lord Commander, not Geor.
Karl fookin Tanner, the Tan Man, Legend of Gin Alley. He's honestly one of my favourite antagonists just because of his simplicity. He's a peasant man with a knack for killing, who also happens to be cool af - that scene of drinking from Joers skull was one of the best Villain scenes on the series.
It feels so good to come across others who share my weird love and admiration for Karl's character. So simple. So decisive. So effective. I wish he'd have had a longer story line, even if the parts to it remained minimal.

gosh that convo between Tyrion and Varys is soo good. They give Varys so much bad ass backstory in one little scene! and of course the ending with Daenerys always slapps. I also think this is the first time we get the little soundcue before the Dragon spits fire, they always use that and it kinda makes the fire way more effective.

a very interesting detail, daenerys wanted to give the biggest dragon, cause he was the fiercest one, drogon is very hard to control and very easy to just attack. So that is why Danny said done so quickly in giving him 😅

Dani getting the Unsullied is one of my favorite scenes.
This is my favorite Daenerys scene. I just want to speak about her speaking valyrian, because the moment she heard him she made a conscious choice to act like she didn’t know what he was saying. So all the times he referred to her using those names and was talking crazy she understood. His shocked face also to her speaking it. the targaeryans came to power: They were the last bloodline left of old Valyria and they had their dragons and took over, it was language that they had I don’t think anyone in the seven kingdoms spoke. So you’ll hear the references to Valyrian steel as well Also idk if someone said this already but “dracarys” means fire, it’s not the dragon’s name. (Idk if I have all my facts right but this is like the generalization or the gist. Basically if you hear targaeryan = valryia)

Dany snapped so many times in that last scene - actually speaking the language, turning the army against the masters, using her dragon to blow shit UP, and then freeing the unsullied, knowing she’s likely to have won a significant portion of their hearts? Absolute queen shit, and you can see Jorah and Ser Barristan give each other the look like “damn” 🤌 also the shot of her dropping and riding over the master’s whip - so clever and a great symbol of how she is dropping the symbols of oppression in the dust 🔥 (sorry, for rambling, one of my fav scenes in the show, and the time I really realised miss ma’am has much more than just dragons on her shoulders 🙌)

In the books when Dolorous Edd and Sam are smelling the body burning it's Sam that is thinking (chapters are POV and each chapter is a specific character perspective) how good it smells burning. It makes him sick to his stomach. But Dolorous Edd tells Sam he hopes they don't have to burn him (Sam) because he doesn't know if he would be able to resist not eating him. 😂 He tells Sam that he'd probably smell like cracklin burning, and he loves cracklin.
And I absolutely loved your facial expression after Theon ended up back in the dungeon. 😂

Another way of looking at the why of Jaime pushing Bran out of the window: he was saving the lives of himself, Cersei, and their three children. If Bran had told anyone, Robert would certainly have kiIIed them. If he hadn't made the flippant remark at the time, maybe this would have been a bit more at the front of people's minds when searching for the why.
