22:46 Lysa was a Tully who married an Arryn (lord of the vale). She ruled the vale because Robin Arryn was too young. Littlefinger married Lysa Tully. Lysa wouldn't even rule the vale if not for Robin being a male heir. Therefore it doesn't make sense for Littlefinger rule the vale considering that he married a Tully from the riverlands that also happens to be the vale's regent
i think as his guardian littlefinger was able to act as basically as steward of the vale until robin comes of age. so he has great power but only through robin. its also shown that robin is still the true ruler - remember later on he has to guide robin's thinking so that its robin who gives the order for littlefinger to use the knights of the vale. he doesnt seem to have that power himself, only robin does.

Taking the stones IS what makes a eunuch. Cutting off the pillar is more dangerous because in order to keep the urethra open you'd have to insert something sterile and they haven't invented autoclaves yet.
I mentioned in an earlier video, i think the red wedding one, that people in this show will die if they think with their heart instead of their head. This is just another textbook example.
@@bogmummies24 What are you talking about? Jon Aryn brought Petyr to King's landing with him. Lysa and Petyr were both in King's Landing at the same time and Lysa would have definitely wanted Petyr's little finger inside of her. Petyr was said to be a sickly and small child and so was Robyn. I think Robyn is his kid.
Nah. Petyr wouldn’t be sleeping with Lysa in King’s Landing. It would be incredibly dangerous and have no gain, seeing as Petyr despises her in matters of attraction. Also, in the books when Lysa admits everything that she’s done, including her aborted kid with Littlefinger, she doesn’t claim that Robyn is Petyr’s, which you know she would be clamoring to do if there was even the slightest chance.

They do take the pillar and stones. In the book there is a discussion about that between Dany and Kraznys. Dany thought the same as you about the Unsullied not being as strong if both were removed. Obedience and discipline outweighed the need for strength. One thing that the show doesn't point out that is in the books, is Drogo and his khalasar only attacked Mirri Maz Duur and her people to get valuables to trade for ships to take them to Westero because of the assassination attempt on Dany. So in this moment, Dany also feels he is responsible for Drogo's death and all that happpened after The Sansa/Littlefinger debacle is different in the books. I won't go into details but I'll just say all the stuff you pointed out because of the ridiculousness in the thought process, didn't happen that way in the books.
You have to start looking at things said before events, there are always foreshadowing of what is to come... Bron when speaking to Tyrion when he asked Bron to be his champion, Bron said one slip and i'd be on my back (Foreshadowing the exact move that killed Oberyon). There are also Mirror scenes that are almost identical from earlier events in the show. I think Sir Dontas (The Fool )had his helmet knocked off the exact same way when he fought in a tournament in front of Joffrey. and Arya's laughter i see as her cracking up with a like wtf momment... Think of her road, She fled the city, came back saw her Dad beheaded, tried to get to her mother and brother who both died, tried to get to her Aunt, who now also is dead.. its almost like her laugh was Omg are u serious!
They don’t really explain in the show but the reason why the Ironborn kill their commander and surrender to Theon is because of the Cranogmen (Meera and Jojen’s people). They’re people who live in the swamp around Moat Caelin and they’ve been picking off Ironborn with poison darts one by one. The commander of the Ironborn was dying of their poison when his men killed him.
Sansa met Lord Royce, she says, when he stopped at Winterfell, escorting his son Ser Waymar to the wall. We met that son a long time ago. He was the high-born jack-ass we saw in the opening scene of the very 1st episode; the one who was scouting beyond the wall with the two other black brothers, mocking them for being afraid, and threatening them if they left.
27:50 - Was it Tywin Lannister that brought the note? Answer: Yes it was. We see in an earlier episode that Tywin specifically informs Varys aka The Spider to make that happen.
I honestly think it’s bad writing for Jorah to not even say he was spying on your piece of ish brother but changed his mine when realizing she was the potential heir and not Viserys.
You didn’t miss anything in the cousin Orson dialogue scene. It was just the showrunners being petty towards author Orson Scott Card who had criticized the writing on the show.
Really?? They are sons of a .. I have such aversion towards them. I can onlz rewatch GOT with Hannah and this guy. I just need someone to cheer me up while DD wreck things.
The beetles was just something to ponder I guess. Some people think it was a bit of foreshadowing for what happened to oberyn... a beetle who got crushed. Maybe commentary on senseless violence, people keep just getting hurt and being hurt for no real greater purpose. It wasn't a scene from the books though.
Another time that two Stark children almost met up again. If the Hound had decided to enter the Bloody Gate and met up with whoever was in charge after Lysa's death, then Arya and Sansa would have met again. In "real life" I think the Hound would have tried his luck even after Lysa's "suicide".
22:53 yeah in medieval society the queen/lady only had as much power as her relation to her husband or father. they weren't rulers bc their full title is Queen Consort. they drop the consort bc it's the usual. a Queen inherits the crown from her father and is the ruler, a queen consort is just the kings wife
No dude, Zendaya looks like Nathalie. Put some respect on it. 😂 Pedro was excited about this role. A lot of main characters didn't know their fate when they signed on for the project, but Pedro was one of the few that did. Still one of the best characters in the show! Yeah, Robin is still Lord of the Vail, because I think Lysa was really the regent until Robyn comes of age...I think that's how it goes. The scene with Daenarys and Jorah is, imo, one of the more underrated scenes of the series. The acting is phenomenal! Remember an episode or 2 ago when Tywin had Mace Tyrell "fetch me a quil and paper"? Then he had Varys find the pardon and he sent it to Dany's camp. You're right, Sansa does want to be Queen still, but I don't think she's lying about not being sure about what they'd do with he. Remember, she's a chess piece for anyone that has her, and everyone she's come across has tried to play her that way, including Lysa. I think she's right...at least she k own if she goes along with Baelish she might get more control of opportunity when/if it presents itself.
Lord of the Vale was Jon Aryyn, he died and his Son Became Lord of the Vale, Littlefinnger married Lysa Aryyn and became her Consort, she died and the boy is to young to rule, so he Became Lord Protector of the Vale, Similar to how Ned was to become Lord Protector over the Realm even though Joffery was King.
Yes because the titles don't pass to the spouse, they go the children, especially the sons. So she can help him rule until he's of age, but Robyn is Lord of the Vale. Technically, Lysa was the Lady of Harrenhal on e she married Peter. And anyone Robyn marries would be the new lady of the Vale.
The bit about the beetles, tyrian was talking about his father.. why he hates his son. Why he was born into a world that hurts him so much and offers so little genuine goodness. What's it all about? Why did he do it? He was inferring to his relationship with his father..
Yes, I believe it did mean that the "stones" were removed in the case of the Unsullied, since that is the essence of a eunuch. There is limited evidence of this happening in real life, but there is certainly evidence of them being used as guards. It is possible some may have acted as captains for various armies, however. Just as you say, eunuchs would have lost their testosterone once their genitalia were removed and for this reason were generally trusted for their brains rather than their brawn. This and their non-threatening status towards the reigning King's consort or concubines and their inability to produce families who would rival their master's own power like his nobles might, is why many of them occupied important places at court, most notably in the East and the Middle East, but there has been evidence of them in parts of Greece and Rome as well. This is something that Varys represents more than Grey Worm, however. It is at least true that plenty of rulers used slave armies though and it is, as I said, a vague possibility that some eunuchs may have commanded them, if not made up their numbers. Like with so many of G.R.R. Martin's characters, a number of basic historical truths have been flung together with a dash of fantasy and created Grey Worm and the Unsullied.

Cersei marrying Loras would not make him the king LMAO
I was looking to see if someone straightened him out. 🤣🤣🤣
Robyn Arryn is Lord of The Vale because his Father was the Lord. Lyssa married into it. She was from River Run.
You made it! You made it to my favorite episode of GOT ever. Was that the bomb or what?
Lady Arrayn was never in charge of the vale she was just realized running it until her son grew up he was the lord after his dad
'Supervillian symbol'😂😂😂😂
BARRY! You got the best fn reactions man.
The Mountain that rides
I hate it when authors write people to be stupid.
0:40 bro still thought this was a normal series with happy endings
No dude, Zendaya looks like Nathalie. Put some respect on it. 😂
Pedro was excited about this role.
9:15 that was way too accurate 😂
Lord of the Vale was Jon Aryyn, he died and his Son Became Lord of the Vale, Littlefinnger married Lysa Aryyn and became her Consort, she died and the boy is to young to rule, so he Became Lord Protector of the Vale, Similar to how Ned was to become Lord Protector over the Realm even though Joffery was King.
Wow, I got on so quick. Without seeing a notification 😂
you deserve more subs bro
"Ed Shearan" 😂
That creepy guy face took me tf out 😂😂😂😂
Yes because the titles don't pass to the spouse, they go the children, especially the sons.
This is one of the book events I just don't accept as canon. Oberyn is living happily ever after on an island somewhere with [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted].
