I love your shop so much. I'm 14 and breed fish to sell 6 hours away from your shop. Today me and my mum drove that 6 hours just to see your shop (and hopefully you) tommorrow. First but im going to try that nice cafe on the corner. Can't wait thanks for being awesome Nick, regards Parker.
@@BadlydrawnBen I breed bristlenose plecos, kerri tetras, masaic guppies, and crimson spotted rainbow fish. Wanting to try breeding some cherry barbs in the future they look fun.
I agree. Nick has the energy and enthusiasm of youth but these older fishkeepers have a lifetime of wisdom to share. Good on you three for teaming up together 😊
I apologize in advance, because I do not know English, and I use Google translator. Boy you are cool!!!! So nice to see young enthusiastic aquarists. You have done a great job, may your work be pleasant and financially successful. Catch a thousand hearts!
I enjoyed the entire video. Found Adrian and Tony's comments to be pure gold. Loved viewing the fish and found myself loving the betas! Thank You Nick!
I am from northern America and I am 42 yrs old I been collecting fish and reptiles and plants my whole life I really love the setup and u are great thank you.
The stress and hard work behind the scenes is showing! This what makes a man. I am really happy for you and for what you built. If I was in Australia I would buy from you to support. Best of luck!
Your shop looks great mate, good to see it all in full. Loved how knowledgeable and willing to share Adrian and Tony were seem like great blokes to just chat fish with.
I watched an episode that Cory from aquarium co-op, said each individual has to find their version of a "Dean". This definitely fits that definition perfectly, and hope you soak up alot of knowledge to pass onto future generations 🙏❤️
Nick! Long-time watcher here. Very cool to have seen your growth and now with your own proper shop in Brisbon. I’m in the US, but will definitely stop by if I’m ever in Australia. Super proud of you!!
Looking forward to the event on Sunday Nick. Adrain and Tony. You guys blow me away. Great ambassadors for the hobby. P.s Rams and endlers are going well.
Dude nick ... Your shop in general is inspiring me sooo much . I mean not to the point that ill open my own shop no lol ... But i just wanna build a biiiig room with fish , different species and all sorts of plants lol . Keep up the good work and i wish your shop all the luck . Id love to come oneday if i ever visit Australia 🤞
Been some time I’ve visited your channel, just wanted to say I’ve been watching you since I was like 13 when I first got my aquarium, and now turning 20. I’ve been watching your channel for years keep it up mate
Howdy from Texas!! Love your shop!! So proud of your accomplishments.... AMAZING! Wish we could come over to meet you in person. Your terrestrial plants inspired me.... I picked up some yesterday to put in some of my tanks. Thank you!
Just saw this post and wish I could have been there for the November sale. Such a wealth of knowledge on board with Adrian and Tony - they're my heros! 😊
Man if I lived in Australia I would be a regular customer of yours. Really impressed with the hard work you put into your shop. Keep up the great work👍
Hope the event on Sunday will be filmed for the unlucky ones (e.g. me) that can’t make it! On an unrelated note, I’ve run my own retail store for quite some time now, and the one tip I can give you is that you should definitely implement some sort of customer loyalty rewards system in the near future. Customer loyalty is super important when you’re competing with other stores in your area. In our case, customers received loyalty cards where they could get 10% off any future purchase at our store. You could maybe implement consumer benefits for members of your RUclips channel, or even produce gift cards. Also, spider plants are super easy to propagate. Keep a plant in a large pot with soil and they’ll produce dozens of baby plants along runners which you could pot-up in an inert substrate and sell off in the store. Good luck with your store! Regards, Matt.
Good job on getting those old timers in the gang good luck with the shop from what you show it seems like you have it well thought out tbh its really entertaining to watch your channel im curios though of the breeding would love to see more of that backroom once it gets going ,keep being you and succes witht he shop
it's funny I live in Texas , and have my whole life . I'll never travel to Australia . but I'm subbed to your channel , with notifications on ! I watch you and one guy from Great Britain , MD Fishtanks , every other aquarium content channel is Americans , I guess because I can easily order from them . I don't know where I'm going with this other than to say you have really good content and your personality makes me happy when I see you have posted . I wish you all the very best !
Shop looks amazing Nick well done, some beautiful fish there! I'd love to pick Adrian's brains. I've learnt stuff watching this and am inspired on new fish thank you. My partner will take me to your shop when we next head over from NZ!
Amazing tour of your fish shop nick! You certainly do have some stunning fish for sale!. I'm in love with all your bettas! Tbh in love with all you in-stock. Hope everything is going well for you mate 😊
So good that your online store is up and running. Will you be adding more of your in store fish to then online store? I live in Stanthorpe and so buying on the internet for fish is the only way. And I rather buy from you.
The quality of your videos and how you keep them ALL interesting is unreal!! Nick - just wondering, have you ever had success or even tried to breed cardinal tetras?
Great shop you've got there🎉 Hsve you considered using a polarising filter on your lens? You would be able to eliminate the reflection in the aquarium glass. Keep up the good work 👍🏻💪🏻
Hi, love your aquarium shop and I purchased last weekend 2 lovely electric blue acara which I was told they were males but they ended up being male and female and bred in 2 days of being in my tank have baby fry 😮(no complaints) but I forgot to ask what the adult fish had been fed on.
Hey Nick would love for you to do the different types of betta and how to determine what type they are, i have been looking at all my local fish shops and they all seem to have different names. So it completely confuses me what type of betta i have as i know you can tell what type you have by fin shape and colour but would love to have more knowledge on it
Good luck with the shop. I wish I had room to keep fish now but we keep moving to smaller and smaller places and a small aquarium with to 7kg cats in the house....nope. The most tanks I ever had running at once was 11, the biggest being a 1000 litre African Cichlid tank. Of course, I still dream of owning my own home again and building a 12' x 4' x 4' built into a wall but hey..... dreams are free.
Agree about the green tiger barbs. I got one that just started growing and now he's killing the other barbs and he's the smallest of them all. Hyper aggressive
Recently, i found white/platinum coloured fish is very stunning. a week ago i was browsing my local aquarium shop and found Platinum rice fish and it was place at lower level of the rack and it looks very charming. also your platinum angel is very lovely, if i live in Australia i would love to buy it from you
I love your shop so much.
That is awesome!
That's dope! Keep it up, you'll definitely be successful! I hope you have a great visit.
Nick is becoming a real celebrity-media and in person.
My mum used to take me on road trips to aquarium shops when I was your age I'm 50 now and have 5 aquariums . Keep it up . What fish do you breed ?
@@BadlydrawnBen I breed bristlenose plecos, kerri tetras, masaic guppies, and crimson spotted rainbow fish. Wanting to try breeding some cherry barbs in the future they look fun.
3 guys looking at fish, don't know why, but I loved it. It was nice to hear you all sharing experience and advice between each other too
In Cahoots
I am so happy you have such wonderful elders to stand beside you. Every success be yours.

Congrats on having the store up and going. I'm up that way fairly often to check out pc and aquarium stores. I'll have to come check yours out
Looking great man, can't wait to see how much the store has changed when I finally come to Australia next year!
Hope the event on Sunday will be filmed for the unlucky ones (e.g. me) that can’t make it!

Love watching your show. Educated, I love the difference between wild and store-bought/bread. Just a great insight into the fish community.
You're living the life. Fish rule! Adrian and Tony remind me of the 1991 Cosmic Psycho's album title: Blokes You Can Trust!
