This guy's passion for raising fish is contagious. The pure joy he shows just talking about his fish is one of the main reasons I love this hobby. Great video and thank you for inspiring me to be a better fish keeper.
You can never get enough so many ups and downs in this Hobby
Do you get the feeling the most fun fish keepers are all Down Under? Lol. They don't try to shame you to do anything "their way", they are all humble about things.. and their setups are epic. I could listen to these Aussies all day. Keep them coming...
I started with 1 tank & now have 8. Multi tank syndrome is real! 😂
It’s so funny how his daughter wanting a fish tank and then changing her mind sparked this whole hobby for him and turned into this! ❤amazing!
Came by for the tetras and stayed for the life lessons. I need to think about some live feeding.
I loved this guy in Lost!
Yea terry o Quinn! Got a shock at first at the resemblance
Can relate to him soo much , what a great guy 😆

I love nano fish. I just love the way they look in big groups.
I love playing with my aquarium, I'm retired
not much else better to do. So every other
month in between water changes I'm
doing something with it for maintenance.
Just to not only keep the tank clean but
to give me something to do to kill time
& to relax & have fun chillin.
My dad was a fire fighter for 27 yrs in Flint, Michigan...he loved his job, he retired as Csprain
What a top bloke. You can tell his humility and willingness to learn. No big egos, no secrets, this is what grows the hobby.
such a great heart felt warming interview. I love this style and love his comments and words. I wish to have 60+ tanks one day, but will get there slowly. Aquariums are such a great destressor from my daily life in the rat race. keep up the great content!
This guy passion is as genuine as it is contagious. Grew up with a tank of my own, and later started breeding just for fun, but since I am in college I had to give up this dream. Really pains my heart every time I see somehow who loves this passion just enjoying themselves, but I'm happy that they at least continue to have this opportunity.
I love the Mad Max shirt!! Great video, great guy!
I was going to say Peter is Aussie Dean... Then I saw snails lol
This guy is so real and passionate. I love it!
This is the kind of content I love...enthusiastic people doing cool fish things in their garages.
I absolutely love Peter. His mentality on the hobby and life. His humor. I could spend hours hanging with him.
I’m in American, who visited Australia as a kid, and I’ve always been captivated by the creatures. Now I dream about African cichlids, and when I first started, this was a go to channel and still is.
Love the T-shirt Peter! And the Fish room!!
Wow, Peter's tetra breeding set up is amazing! It's always fascinating to see how dedicated hobbyists go above and beyond to create the perfect environment for their fish. Thanks for sharing this video, it's so inspiring to see others pursuing their passion for fishkeeping. Keep up the great work!
My favourite was the rummy with the bent spine! I love odd or different fish, giving them a great planted naturally scaped tank for them to live out their lives in is rewarding for me... if I see a fish in a shop that I can easily home or add to one of my tanks I do it 10times out of ten. Just picked up what turned out to be the most beautiful koi galaxy betta a few weeks ago who was very pale in colour and sitting at the bottom of his cup looking half dead. I knew if I didn't buy him because of the price he would probably end up dying in that cup... couldn't have it! He's happy and healthy now with the most beautiful colour pattern ive ever seen in a galaxy worth breeding for sure! Gorgeous yellow with light blue , white and even some hints of pink on his head! Truly a beautiful fish!
What a genuinely great guy! Loved listening to him tell his story. Thanks Nick & Peter!
Nice video on breeding Tetra I will be doing it soon. Thanks Garage and Nick from the USA
I love watching content about hobbyists at his level. It's inspiring to see people enjoying their lives and doing something interesting and challenging. Thanks!!
Here's a tip, use cheap Rice Krispies or the generic for Walter worms or micro worms. Add water and sprinkle yeast liberally over it. Then add your worm culture. It will smell like bread.
Fuck he could talk. A nice fella enjoying his hobby. Great to see.
What a great down to earth bloke, I enjoyed watching that, and as a person that used to own a falcon hardtop when I was younger I have to say I love his shirt, Great video Nick 🙂
That song in the back ground . Nice touch 0:34

love this guy. 😀
I'm watching a friendly aquarist channel.. greetings from Türkiye..
Thank you so much for your your amazing video. 👌❤️
Love seeing other peoples tanks so cool
Really enjoyed this one. Ex firefighter of 10 years myself but as a volunteer. I've forgotten most of what I learned about fishkeeping but I'm learning a lot from your videos, and some English fella I've been watching too. Never heard of the two live foods that were mentioned. I always fed my fish on either flake, pellets, live brine shrimp from the shop or various frozen options, bloodworms etc.. I'd love to meet this fella, he's a real character. 😃 Thanks for another great video.
Great video and fish room
What a legend! I'm tempted to set off my fire alarm to get him to drop by
What a gentleman! 👌
good job, great video!!! It would be nice to see someone breed more tetras! especially the smaller ones, glowlight tetras, black neons etc!
Great interview - I’m on the same journey!
Cool I'm going to try his two day 4 tank method to see if I get better results. Cheers for the advice.
what a top bloke
Can you do some videos showing, in detail, the how process of growing various types of micro worms, including where to source you first batch of worms. Thanks
I popped my pregnant guppy into the box this morning and she gave birth. I'm so proud. One of the other ones must have given birth at the same time as I have babies in the tank. I have live plants so hopefully they won't all be eaten
5:53 great analogy! 😂😂
