@@RazorMP_Official Ive shot the platypus before and in all honesty, I can’t really tell the difference between the P and the staccato……. But I’m a novice to the whole 1911/2011 experience…. So as I grow my collection and expand my shooting, I’ll provide the updates.
What Holosun optic is that? It looks way bigger than a 407/507k but i could be mistaken. Reason i ask is the SA website says the platypus can be cut for a 407/507k.

It is a pain to disassemble but...they just launched a bull barrel so it should be significantly easier to manage! Make sure to subscribe! I have a treat for 1911/2011 fanatics coming up!
@@RazorMP_Officialdo you think it’s a good idea to wait 6m to a year after a new gen handgun comes out? So they can work out all the issues. Case in point the Springfield prodigy. Not sure if it’s the mim internal parts or what. I have seen a handful of videos online where it has fails to eject or return to battery or other things. I have my eye on the Bul Armory Sas II Tac 4.25. They have a new gen coming out…
@@lmSteveo I think you are right on. It's like buying a first year car.....you won't know all the pitfalls until it gets into the public's hands. That said...the Platypus has proven to be solid thus far...and when I didn't have a rear sight included in the pistol bag, I called Stealth Arms to buy one...they told me 'no'. It should have been included with the pistol...so we are sending you one free of charge. Great customer service.

I believe they make a 4.25 guide tool-less guide rod but I have never installed one myself on a commander. What gun are you planning on putting it on? A platypus?
