- A first flight in the Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante developed by NextGen for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Mistakes were made during the flight, so there's lots still to learn and practice - but what a fun aircraft! The only serious downer at the moment is the sound, but if you're sitting in the cockpit it's not really an issue.

I've been following the developers on discord. This plane will have a complete overhaul soon with new textures, sounds, flight dynamics and system. But as it is, its been one of my favorite planes in the sim.

Haven't flown it for a while but if you fix that sound issue it can easily keep up with the top aircrafts out there. It's totally underrated.
So I’ve owned this aircraft for at least a year. I think that’s how long it’s been since I used it. 😢 I never spent the time to learn it. After spending about 20 hours in the PC-12, this is basically a twin engine pc-12. The auto pilot is very close or identical, the upper electrical panel is very very similar also. I think I’m gonna give this another go since I very much enjoy the Pilatus!
I just bought this and happy to have it.
The rendition does not show the modified horizontal stabilizer to include some dihedral to mitigate tailplane flutter, that was required by Airworthiness Directive.
Since the Beech 1900D isn't available still for msfs, which was my absolute favorite in XPlane and P3D, i had an eye on the EMB for quite a while. Since the bird is on sale currently, i decided to buy coz of your great video. Thank you so much, im supa happy with the plane!

This has been one of my favorite planes since I bought it. It has been updated a couple of times and once you know the procedures it is a joy to fly. It is the best value for money I've had since msfs 2020 started.
It's great fun to fly. Will be interesting to see what the update brings to it.

It's a great plane
As noted in the video - my second go in the aircraft after a brief familiarisation flight. Lots to learn, lots to practice, and procedures to perfect :)

I may finally have been won over this time, Jon. Up until now I was a bit reluctant to snap this up. I may do that now.

I purchased this plane when it was discounted. JayDee makes a mod for this plane that replaces the awful sound with the King Air.
Nice! Love the plane but the sound is awful.
Fingers crossed they fix it in the v2 update they are working on.

Next Gen Simulations website have it (straight from the developer), or Inibuilds have it in their store.
Interesting aircraft , cant make up my mind if i like it or not ,the sounds are terrible so happy to hear an update is on the way so I'll wait n see .
To my mind £30 is slightly expensive for what you get compared to other payware in this price bracket

Bought it last night for a cargo run in fl klal to MLB when started getting dark I flipped the cabin light switches. < nothing> panel switches < nothing>
Pitch black cockpit was hard to judge approach speed but I just floated alot bleeding speed until a graceful touch down.
I need the amps to take a look so I can fly back. 😂
That's always the nightmare, isn't it - getting into a situation you're not familiar with in a plane you don't know how to configure :) You can always wind the sun back of course in MSFS :)

The screens turn off after 10-15min so im not flying it.... any ideas for a fix?
That will be because you have not switched the generators on - you've essentially run the batteries down.

You know you can go to the Aircraft CFG and change the ground features from 1 to 0 and get rid if the annoying ground crews and vehicles. Yes the WX Radar was promised to be functional. I don’t think it ever will.
It already is in some aircraft.

Love your video but this plane looks like a 1930's airship and sounds like one too so not for me.
This is my only payware that I've uninstalled. Just so disappointing compared to the Black Square King Air and others.

Exactly. I've flown the real EMB110 in the 70s and this is terrible. Beautiful and that's it. Sorry. Hopefully the development team fix the systems, performance and that lawnmower sound.

I like UK scenery and fly there often myself. In Mr. Beckett's defence, he flies in California all the time. In any case, UK is home. I can understand that.
