From Albury to Mount Beauty, Australia in the updated EMB 110 Bandeirante in Flight Simulator

- Today we take the updated EMB-110 Bandeirante for a flight from Albury, New South Wales, down the valley to Mount Beauty, Victoria, in Australia. The EMB 110 was recently updated, so I thought we should take it for a flight and find out if the procedures I wrote up are still good (they are!).

Not sure if i already mentioned, but I just got this plane for $10 on the sale and i'm totally liking it. I already have several flights on it.

Thanks for the video! You should check out the changelog, though; your checklist needs a couple changes. For instance, you no longer need to turn on the ignition, the props are supposed to be full forward at startup and the fuel levers are now condition levers, so the condition levers should be at fuel cutoff during startup, then set to low idle at 10% Nh...
That's interesting. That means the default parked state of the aircraft is badly wrong.
I really enjoy flying the Bandeirante in MSFS
Hi Jon ....the first thing I changed in msfs2020 was to delete the CTRL+NUM double key action for custom cameras into NUM, like we were used to in XP11 for years. I also like the Bandeirante @nd...not to forget...after the update you can use the
TDI GTN 750 nXi, which is really a perfect way to navigate.
Thanks for being always very actual in presenting new planes....and there are always some good hints hidden in your videos, like running LittleNavMap on a second desktop.

Those sounds are FSX nostalgic. Lol. Sounds good though tone wise.
Good choice to fly in Oz, the Bandeirante was used quite widely by a number of regional airlines in Oz.

It's nice to see that they keep improving this plane but the sounds still need a lot of work. I like to fly outside my plane most of the time and the sound, although improved, is still awful. Interesting airport that you landed at.
Hopefully one day the sounds will be fixed. I worked around Bandeirantes in the 80's, they sound nothing like this :( I still love flying this one though.

Is it possible to remove/fold away that new tablet? It’s annoying seeing it in my peripheral eyesight as I fly.
Yes, there's a switch almost hidden behind the tablet, just under the left hand side of the glare shield which hides / shows the tablet.

I bought this plane 2 weeks ago and had to stop flying it because the autopilot was so hard to use, especially with altitude/VS selector. It was basically impossible for me to set it.
Most autopilots with an altitude pre-selector work in a similar way. Set the altitude, arm it, pull the knob, and set the vertical speed with the knob.
Can someone tell me where the window heat button is on this plane because my windows keep icing up and I can’t see anything

I have never been inside a 110 while the engines were on..I do not know what they are supposed to sound like? So what is wrong with the sound..
I think he's complaining about the phasing from the outside.

Upgrade has improved the aircraft somewhat. I had one short flight on 30 minutes, then I pushed it back into the hanger...most likely won't come out for some time.
I can’t fly it without the screens turning off mid-flight.
Generators? What controller have you got? I know some controllers (Honeycomb in particular) cause odd things in a number of aircraft because of they way they are mapped "out of the box".
@@jonbeckett I fly on Xbox with a controller and a wireless keyboard and mouse, nothing else.
I’ve set the plane up exactly how it’s meant to be. It was fine before the update, it’s only since then it’s been broken. Generators were definitely on, and I made sure both the starter/ignition switches were off because that’s been known to cause issues.
Me and a few others have raised the issue on their dedicated forums but there’s been no respond from anyone for a while now.
@@thesn00tyfox I’ll have another look but I’m sure I have set them correctly. I know it doesn’t set it properly by default.
@@Owencr905 The Ignition Switches to normal after start are the key....
The sound looping of the engines are still so bad, no attempt what so ever to blend sounds together, other then that not to baf of a aircraft.
Is it just me or are those textures shocking? Some of the labels are nigh unreadable, and the stretched bumpy plastic above the instruments is really really poor to see
