- Today we take the updated EMB-121 for a flight around the south east of England - departing from Duxford, then visiting Stapleford, Elstree, Wycombe, and Fairoaks before landing at Goodwood.

As a couple of people have noticed - and I too noticed late last night - the reason I couldn't intercept the VOR was the needle on the HSI was backwards :) This is one of the down-sides to running the sim in 1080P to aid RUclips - it makes the cockpit just as blurry for me as in the video for you :)
I recently upgraded my video card and monitor to 4K. What a difference! Can read the gauges much better especially in the steam gauged planes by Black Square.
Love this! Doing something similar in the TBM. Farnborough, Dublin, Edinburgh, London City and back to Gulf Stream hanger in Farnborough #VATSIM. Surprising how tiring that was 🙈👍. Keep up the great work 😎

Jon, your course needle on the HSI was backwards. I think that's why the autopilot would not intercept and track the radial in Nav mode.

Havent been too happy with the tecnam 2006. Its tough to see out of, and just doesnt seem to have enough power. Im always fighting to maintain speed

About thirteen miles out from Goodwood,did you notice some of the fields were burned off?This practice was banned at the end of '92 so dates our general scenery to that date or earlier,a real source of irritation for me and I guess is cost related........................................
The scenery is made of a patchwork of aerial photography. I'm guessing fields are not overflown repeatedly because they're not likely to change from year to year. I imagine the true story of what drives the mapping process is far more complex than you or I realise - probably driven by the towns, businesses, and so on that need to be placed on maps, and have routes connected to them.
@@jonbeckett Can't argue with your point,but MSFS map enhancement software doesn't have that problem using Googlemaps as a source,although the colour variation can be just as annoying...................................
Just fyi, i just watch a youtube vid of a real flight in the xingu and the pilot had high idle set the whole time.

It’s a shame the stock sounds are so terrible (default King Air). This aircraft would be exceptional if they had custom sounds
Erm... it has the same engines as the King Air though ?
@@jonbeckett really? I had no idea. That said, I don’t love the default King Air sounds - they seem to ‘loop’ a bit. Probably just me!

Small developer so I do get it but the copied sounds from a default aircraft would put me off buying this tbh. Looks ok to fly though

@@jonbeckett Somewhat true but even the default aircraft sounds aren't always a good representation hence the mods. Not claiming it is the case here but it is still a copy and paste job imo at least.
Wonder why they didn't just make an EMB 120, not this midget one.
Maybe the lesser used plane is typically the more interesting one :)
