I just got a set of the Cleveland HB Launcher...holy hell they improved my hitting of irons. I'm sold. Thank you Cleveland.

Great review! I have been using Cleveland HB Turbo for 2 years. I have senior graphite shafts. I love these clubs!

I tried them both and liked the Cleveland a little better. The fitter showed me that the overall distance was similar but was hitting the Cleveland MUCH straighter, so I opted for the HB.

Great information! Thanks very much...it has helped me decide to go to hybrid irons. I will be fitted for the Cleveland HB Turbo Hybrid Irons! 🙂

For most it's all about dispersion and how straight it goes - I think more reviewers should focus on this too.

Great review. Really helpful. I am hoping to get fitted for the Cleveland HB irons once lockdown is lifted. Just wondering do you know if there is a new model of the launcher due out in 2021?

Cleveland need a HB Launcher 7 wood. I use their Driver 21 degree ( love it) and would use their 5 wood and Halo hybrids, if I didn't already have Cobra 5W and 19,22,25 Hybrids.

I got a set of the Cleveland Launcher turbo. I am hitting them well. Very good dispersion. I'm hitting the ball much better. I can't go back to a regular cavity back. Cleveland got it right.

What about a comparison on performance in poorer conditions? Wouldn't the Cobras give an edge because of the rails? None of the tests I see on RUclips cover that aspect.

I enjoyed the review and data. Would like to see a comparison review of senior-focused irons, such as the Cobra Air-X vs. competitors. Is a hybrid iron better for seniors with slow swing speeds, or a traditional-shaped iron that is light and has offset? Thx.

I got the cobras. I will never forget that I got a smash factor of 1.48 on my best strike!!!

I looooove my HB Turbo (ladies) so forgiving and consistent, nothing but Cleveland in the bag... HB Launcher Turbo Driver (12deg), Halo 2 Hybrid, HB Launcher Turbo 5 Wood, a CBX 50 wedge, my putter and these babies... HB Launcher Turbo Irons! (Irons in 6 to 9, PW, SW). The looks aren’t even noticeable on the course for me, they look like a typical iron and the black just looks like a shadow in the grass, to be honest it’s about how well they perform... such an underrated brand Cleveland is, but I love the reasonable pricing of them (not spending extras on adjustable hosel and weight bolts you just don’t need therefore making them more affordable...). I wouldn’t use anything else!! Quality and consistency, it’s a no brainer!! Brush your egos aside and get your hands on these babies!!
    Great videos, thank you 😊

I would make so much more sense if the players that need and would play super game improvement clubs, actually reviewed them.

My father at his age in his early 70's will no way have a club speed close to 80+mph like most of the tester I see on you tube. I wonder how they would perform at lower club head speeds; say around 68-74mph... Is it possible that the performance of these specifically engineered irons would be different with lower speeds?

Just watched another detailed test... the Cobra was the winner... feel...hits it higher and a bit longer ... so who knows.. guess it depends on the individual.

Thanks for that. I was hoping you'd prefer the Cobra, but as you say, it's personal preference. My problem is that our club pro can supply the Cobra but not the Cleveland, and I'd prefer to be fitted by him. Which would you say was the more forgiving?

    • @TomDenby
      @TomDenby  4 года назад +1

There is not a lot in it to be honest on the forgiveness!! I really like the wide range of options you have to choose from in the Cobra set and that is a huge plus for me

The Cleveland's aren't as offset as the cobras. I don't mind looking a bit of real estate behind the ball but offset just looks all wrong on an iron.

I've watched this and your Cobra T-Rail review. I am off 29 and I've tried both and the Wilson Launchpad range. The Wilson was better than Cleveland or Cobra for me. Would be interesting to see a comparison of all 3.
