I’m new to crocheting and have been trying to connect 2 balls of yarn and I have ripped and cut and ripped and cut a lot in the last 20 minutes trying to tie a knot. Thank you for this video. It took me a bit to get it right, but I did after only 45 seconds of trying. Thank you for simplifying this.

I’ve been doing it this way for years, and nothing has ever come apart. Just make sure to weave in the tails back-and-forth 2 to 3 times. On the other hand, knots come apart every time.
