The filter is not screwed on tight enough. I can see the unfiltered dripping in to the clean. I have this and always get zero on the TDS.
You installed the filter incorrectly. It should be screwed from the bottom, not dropped in from top. That's why your tds better didn't show zero. The filter needs to be screwed in. Then you will get perfect water

Specify that the filter must be under hot water for 30 seconds before putting it in the carafe.
Big difference , here in UK my tap water was 0.69, but after filtering it was 0.00, plus the taste of copper was gone. Not sure if it removes estrogen though
Higher TDS in boiled water makes perfect sense, the solids dont evaporate so all.youre doing is concentrating the solids..
If you had 6 eggs in the kettle and then boiled it, youd still have 6 eggs but more eggs per ml of water as someof the water will have evaporated.
Yeh but it doesn't end up in the filtered water, hence the name filter. Filtering it out.
Uhhhh i believe you put the filter in wrong. Blue top comes off & it screws at the bottom, not just dropped into the top. Unless you edited that out🤷🏾♀️ or unless this particular model is different, doubt it tho.

Have 22 cup dispenser which drips constantly from behind spout which requires me to immediately transfer water to a nonleaking container. Sorry I can figure put what to do.
We bought a metal spout off Amazon after reading reviews. Worth it on that Glass dispenser
How long does it take for the water to get through the filter? I'm guessing an hour's rather than minutes?
It def moves slower than other filters. I have one and it takes a bit of time
@@ChrisWilkins-lp5ty Well I bought one just to take away in my caravan/on camping trips, it filters tap water very quickly compared to the Berekey water filter I have at home. The whole jug can be full within 20 minutes I'd say. Not happy with the fishy smell after such a short time though, thankfully that's only coming from the unfiltered section but it's not nice.
About 10 to 20 minutes

Truth is, you can use it until it says 150 not 6
