      There is more to the water than it’s TDS . Brita actually is better at filtering contaminants.

      having a kid made me do research into filters and is the reason i went with this one since their lower weight makes them less tolerant to a lot of the impurities in our tap water. Thanks for watching

    Interesting timing on this video. We have had a Berkey gravity filter for a number of years now and I've been drinking either that or bottled water ever since. This past weekend, I was worn out, and dehydrated. In the interest of expediency, I filled a glass with water from the tap here in Cincinnati. I was astounded at how bad it tasted. When we began filtering with the Berkey, I don't know that I noticed a "lack" of flavor, just tasted like clean water. This latest experience was a serious eye opener into our local municipal tap water and what must be in it.

      Oh once you have great filtered water you definitely notice the "taste" of tap

    Brita is fine if you live in an area with good water. My water is borderline hard. But I still bought zero and pur, dispensers.

    • @NoFate247
      @NoFate247  6 месяцев назад

      Which do you prefer - Pur or zero

    • @bullmoose6739
      @bullmoose6739 6 месяцев назад

      Pur has better taste for drinking water and coffee. The dispenser I bought could have issues. Of coarse I read the reviews after I bought it.
      The zero water I bought because I was going to add 3rd wave minerals,
      for coffee water, but I found out I liked the regular filtered water better. Wanted to keep my new Keurig free from limescale, but it wasn’t worth it if I couldn’t get a good cup of coffee.
      The zero water isn’t bad but I prefer pur.
      I’ll always get the pitchers from now on. Just peace of mind that you don’t have to worry about your floor being damaged.
      Nothing happened, …. yet, but I wouldn’t have bought it if I read the reviews first in the Pur dispenser.

      I was filtering Brita water with my Pur filter.
      I like putting regular water in the pur filter better.
      Brita and Pur taste better.
      0 is ok. I still use it.

    I am a zero water fan. Been using it years and like it very much. Just know it doesn't filter bacteria or viruses so if you are in a situation that needs microbe filter...this isn't it.

    Have you tried making ice from the water filtered through the Zero? I was doing all my ice that way but I found that when you let the ice completely melt there was a blob of stuff left. If I make ice from my tap and other water filter no blob.

      The results could have something to do with where you live.
      Amazon Basics, Brita, Pur, and zero water all do a better job at filtering out tds.
      I’ve seen some RUclips reviews that say the waterdrop filter is good, saying it was the best, but they lived in Arizona I live in Buffalo.
      It’s been a few weeks and zero water was still at zero.
      My tap water was about 120
      Water drop was 111
      If something filters water that fast it probably isn’t doing that good of a job. I basically threw out 16 bucks. Not a big deal. The pitcher is well designed, very similar to a zero water pitcher. I just don’t think the filter does a good job.
