    Healthy snacks that are good:
    Prepared cooked sweet potato
    Cut up honeydew melon/cantalope
    Pumpkin seeds/almonds/ walnuts
    Dried seaweed (high in b12)
    Berries can serve with unsweetened yogurt and top with honey and hemp seeds (can find at Trader Joe’s and Costco)
    Smoothie made of coconut milk or yogurt, berries, 1-2 handfuls of leafy baby greens, hemp seeds, honey
    I also love to just have cold brew or iced americano, can add milk or no milk.
    This may be considered a meal or can be a snack in between meals but white rice with sardines and a bit of soy sauce is very good and quick if you have prepared rice.

    Can I ask how long you keep your steamed sweet potatoes in the fridge? After I saw your video I got super enthusiastic about a rice cooker and bought one, haha, because I have major issues eating properly. The second 'recipe' I made was steamed sweet potato (because I saw you do it and I love sweet potatoes but hardly ever make them), which I then let cool off and wrapped them like I saw you do in the video and put them in the fridge. Now I realized it would be wise for me to check for how long they can be refrigerated and people tend to say for maximum 2 days. But since you say you make a lot of them at once I can't imagine they only last for 2 days with you. Do they? I made them yesterday morning (Tuesday morning for me) and was hoping to use the remaining ones for lunch on Friday and Saturday, which would make 4 days. Or should I make them every other day? Do you? I hope you can help, if you have time:)
    Thank you so much for this video by the way, my eating habits have already changed a lot in only a week time (I ordered the rice cooker last week). Funny though, I was looking at some matcha videos last week and bought some, and apparently RUclips was like 'oh look, I have more videos for you on Japanese habits!' Haha. I was happy RUclips thought so!
    Oh and by the way, in the video you mention a pdf with rice cooker recipes. I can't seem to find it. I've downloaded your several pdf's (thank you for those!) and don't see them. Am I missing something?
    Have a lovely day! 🩷

    May I know where is the pdf for more healthy recipes?
    I only see a link and that leads me to a form to fill in my email. That makes me wonder if you are trying to sell any thing or membership? I do not want to subscribe to any more things as I'm trying to declutter my email lists and life!

    I'd add optional hack - adding protein shake helps to control hunger and also can increases metabolism. Moreover, it prevents muscle loss on lower caloric diet. Muscle loss decreases BMR which basically means your body will burn less calories during day.
    You can find even whole food sources of protein powders like chlorella and spirulina (though it tastes pretty bad). Other options are pea protein, maybe soy protein isolate.
    You can just add it to fruit/vegetable smoothie. Serving of protein powder (usually scoop added in package) provides around 20-25g of additional protein.

      @Akane_Kato  10 месяцев назад

      Wow, Thank you for the excellent tips!✨ ! It will be helpful to many people😊

    • @arth8265
      @arth8265 10 месяцев назад

      @@Akane_Kato There's this theory in dietary science that hunger hormone will be elevated in the body until you satisfy adequate protein intake. So, in other words, body will not feel satisfied and seek for more food until it gets enough proteins. Adding 20-25g of protein to diet in form of protein shake might be like difference between day and night for people who are trying to control calories and lose weight.
      By the way, parchment paper and microwave is good hack. Lots of calories in diet can come from kitchen oils. 1 tablespoon of kitchen oil has 120kcal. If you use 2-3 tablespoons for frying, you're adding 360kcal to your meal. It's huge. Avoiding frying can be key factor to maintain or lose weight.
