In the hack using the half the tissue, instead of tearing in half, separate the 2-layers of tissue and use a thin single layer when applying powder to the lipstick. I think I will try it. Love this video. Hysterical. Thanks.

In the late 1960s, we also added the Cleopatra double liner (1st black liner; then thin line of white liner above the black liner) to the rainbow eyeshadow. Gotta say it looked nice!! 😃

I tried the finger wing hack and love it! I don't have a lot of real estate on my eyelids and can't generally do a wing, but this worked!! It took a time or two to get placement and amount of liner right, but I'll be using this one!

Loved all the hacks and how much fun you had demonstrating them for us. Here’s a beauty tip for those under eye lashes: using Lancome eyelash primer, brush on your under eye lashes. It goes on white and dries clear. Let dry and you’re done! No more smudges under your eye from mascara!!

I was a makeup artist for Lancome and we discovered that a long time ago. You do not need to go through those steps. Just lightly powder skin, usually loose powder, after moisturizing. 😊

This was really, really fun to watch. I’m seeing the old Dominique coming back. There’s been a sadness to you since your mom died. It’ll never go away completely, but you will learn to compartmentalize it, so to speak. I found these a little too much, but did enjoy your joy of trying the placement. I have no eyebrows, so using something like this is a good thing to try. As a matter of fact, I just received a package from Amazon with something to use. Just in time for your video. I'm in my 70s and had so much fun watching this. As a teenager I did the powder on the eyelashes but not like the Tiktoker. One coat of mascara would go on, then I used a spoolie and brushed the powder in the same way that you put on mascara and then followed that with another coat of mascara. The vertical lines of different eyeshadows we also did when I was in my 20s (long time ago). The powder over lipstick - ditto. Learned it from my mother. I will use the hacks for contour and blush as they "lift" the face and I will try that foundation hack as well. Thanks so much for this video!! 🩷
I use a light color eye shadow on my lashes, then two coats of mascara, drying each coat separately. Works nicely for me. At the end, I think you look really good !

I use Jane Iredale Smooth Affair primer (a light moisturizer consistency), her powder foundation (comes in a compact), then Pommist hydration spray. No liquid foundation step. Their makeup artist told me this spray kind of transforms it into a liquid so you have the thinnest layer with great coverage. I really love it! I’m a makeup fiend so it doesn’t keep me from constantly buying other products, but I’ve always had the best results with that. You should get them to send you some if you haven’t used it.
I love Jane Iredale's compact mineral foundation, spray, and her concealer. I have been using her products for 30 years. I understand most soap opera stars use her foundation for it's great coverage and staying power.
